Sophie Smith got her first role since her coback.
But what was surprising was that it was a youth campus drama, and she had to play an 18-year-old girl.
Sophie felt a bit of a headache.
Not to ntion she’s already twenty-five, she’s also a mom now, so playing such a role seems a bit inappropriate.
She shared her worries with Eva Miller.
"Sophie, what are you worrying about?" Eva Miller shook her head helplessly, "If you don’t say you’re a mom, who would notice? Besides, with your face, you could easily pass for eighteen. What are you fussing about? Are you afraid the audience won’t accept it? How could that be?"
Eva Miller went on and on, "Didn’t you know? There was a forty-sothing actress who, with makeup and special effects, played a character from sixteen to over sixty in one film. It’s not about age or looks; it’s about acting skills, understand? You at least graduated from Eastern Film Academy, the ’star-making cradle.’ Don’t be so unconfident!"
For every sentence Sophie said, Eva had ten replies, and she seed likely to keep going.
Sophie quickly stopped her.
"Alright, Eva, I got it."
"Good, make sure you act well. The first film of your coback is no joke. If the audience doesn’t buy it, you’ll be directly shelved."
However, Sophie’s situation might be different. Sister Sunny likes her so much, how could she deny her just because of one film and shelve her?
Sophie already had the script in her hands, and she was the only confird lead so far. As for the rest of the cast, it hadn’t been announced yet and would probably take so more ti.
From the rest area over there, a commotion was heard, Sophie’s gaze shifted over, only to see Ana Scott throwing another tantrum.
"Just ignore her, she’s like a lunatic!" Eva said with a look of disgust.
"Even if she’s a big star, she shouldn’t act like this. Look at how she treats the company’s assistant staff?" Sophie saw Ana slap the assistant on a whim, which made her sowhat unable to stand it.
She stood up and walked over there.
"Hey, Sophie, don’t be impulsive!" How could she possibly go up against Ana?
Sophie steadied herself and stood in front of Ana, a girl timidly kept her head down, not knowing if she was Ana’s assistant or soone else, but she looked pitiful and bullied.
"Sophie, what’s the matter?" Seeing Sophie approaching, Ana retracted the fierce look in her eyes and forced a pretentious smile.
"I heard you got a new role, congratulations."
"Thank you." Sophie said blankly, "Ana, I heard you used to be an extra, even a scene assistant, is that right?"
Being reminded of her past, Ana suddenly felt a bit embarrassed, not knowing why Sophie brought it up.
"I don’t an anything by it, I just want to tell you that everyone is equal. You can’t treat soone lower in status like this. When you didn’t have any halo above you, would you have wished others treated you this way?"
"Perhaps you’re very popular now, but..." Sophie paused, a mocking smile appearing on her lips, "but what if you aren’t popular one day?"
"You!" Ana turned pale with anger, so was she being lectured?
