So, is Asher Land coaxing the child now?
Luke Land shook his head in disbelief and focused on his bowl of food. Really, in this situation, no matter how he looks at Asher Land, there’s sothing awkward about it.
Alexander thought for a mont and didn’t plan to resist further, as Asher Land had said that after dinner and a sleep, he’d be leaving tomorrow.
However...
"Uncle, can I borrow your phone for a mont? I want to call Uncle Davis."
Calling Nolan Davis?
"No."
"..."
Alexander pouted, then glanced towards Luke Land and Irene Morton.
"Pretty Auntie, and... handso Uncle, would you lend your phone?"
Irene and Luke Land both glanced at Asher Land simultaneously, then helplessly shook their heads.
Alexander imdiately looked dejected, losing even the mood to eat.
Asher Land stared at Alexander with interest for a while before he eventually took out his phone and handed it to him.
"Let make a call?" Alexander was caught off guard by Asher Land’s sudden gesture. Not saying a word, Asher Land, seeing Alexander not taking the phone, threw the phone onto the table.
Alexander actually only wanted to call Nolan Davis to explain today’s situation.
He was supposed to go to his house today but was ’abducted’ back by Asher Land.
Alexander rembered Nolan Davis’s number well, so he didn’t need to browse and dialed smoothly.
Asher Land watched coldly as Alexander talked a lot with Nolan Davis, yet he couldn’t get angry at a child.
"Well, Uncle Davis, I’m hanging up now. Don’t worry about ."
Alexander said obediently.
After making the call, Alexander felt relieved and started eating more happily.
After dinner, the maid helped him take a bath and change into pajamas.
After Sophie Smith finished her work-related matters, she couldn’t wait to call Asher Land.
"Asher Land, I heard from Teacher Lee that you took Alexander away today?"
Sophie was a bit surprised.
"Yes, is there a problem?"
"Nothing..."
Sophie thought for a mont, "But can you take care of the child well tonight? I’m worried that without by his side, he might not adapt."
"He seems to adapt quite fondly to Nolan Davis." Asher Land’s tone was a bit jealous, "You can directly let him stay at Nolan Davis’s house?"
"..."
No wonder his tone wasn’t great from the start; it turns out he’s upset because Alexander was going to stay at Nolan Davis’s place.

Sophie kept instructing on the other side, but she didn’t get a response from Asher for a long ti.

Asher Land put down his pen and slowly opened his mouth, "Go ahead."

"Oh." Seeing Asher Land was listening, Sophie then continued to instruct on a few more things.
After saying roughly everything, thinking that Asher Land would personally take care of Alexander, her mood inexplicably improved.
"Good night, I wish you and Alexander sweet dreams tonight."
Asher Land looked at the phone screen which had faded to black, and couldn’t help but smile slightly.
He put down the phone and headed towards the kitchen.
The first thing Sophie instructed was to make milk, wasn’t it?
