"Brother Asher, are you crazy!" Irene tightly shut her eyes, only feeling a gust of wind whooshing past her ears.
Her hair was blown into a complete ss by the wind, "Slow down! Slow down!"
She shouted a few tis, but Asher Land remained indifferent.
The road was lined with robust, lush camphor trees, and a cold smile appeared on Asher Land’s lips as he turned the steering wheel to the right.

"Ah!" Another piercing scream.
Trembling, Irene clutched the seatbelt tightly. The front hood had been smashed to pieces, smoke billowed, and Irene felt as if this crash had shattered her insides, the pain was excruciating.
She was indeed terrified, her eyes blurred with tears as she looked to the side, only to see that man still remaining so calm and composed.
His hands gripped the steering wheel tightly, blood oozed from them, but he seed utterly oblivious, his indifferent gaze fixed ahead.
"Do you really want to die with ?" Irene let out a cold laugh, her face growing paler. What he did today, such impulsive actions, were simply because she had taught Sophie Smith a lesson, and he felt distressed.
Finding no outlet to vent, he resorted to self-harming in this way?
"Brother Asher, we truly are a match made in heaven." Irene’s lips curled into a self-deprecating smile, "We really think alike, even if we must die, we should die together, shouldn’t we?"
Ha, die together?
A cold smile appeared at the corner of his lips, he said nothing, unbuckled the seatbelt, opened the car door, and walked away without looking back.
Irene watched his departing figure, the smile at her lips deepening.

When he returned to Sophie Smith’s apartnt, the door was open, broken by him that morning.
He walked straight in.
The dical personnel called by Robert Williams had already left after checking Sophie Smith’s condition. At this mont, the single apartnt housed only Robert Williams, Alexander, and Sophie Smith.
Seeing Asher Land enter, Robert Williams quickly walked up to him.
He felt inexplicable panic seeing the blood stains on Asher Land’s hand.
"President Land, what happened to you?"
"I’m fine." His gaze fell on the closed door of Sophie Smith’s room, "Where’s Sophie? How is she?"
"Miss Smith had a fever, received several IV treatnts, and took so fever-reducing dication. She’s much better now." Robert Williams answered truthfully.
"Hmm." Asher Land responded casually, hesitated for a mont, then walked towards her room door.
As he pushed the door open, he lowered his head slightly and saw Alexander, who had been sitting by the bed watching over Sophie Smith, suddenly raise his head, looking at him with a resentful glare.
This made him inexplicably tense and uncomfortable.
"Alexander..."
He was about to say sothing when Alexander turned his head away.
Sophie Smith, having taken her dication and received an injection, was still not awake. Feeling heartbroken, Asher Land was about to approach but was stopped by Alexander.
"Uncle, neither Mom nor I want to see you again. Please leave."
Not wanting to see him?

"You’re angry, hmm?" Asher Land spoke softly, gently asking.
Alexander hung his head, sulking with a hum.
