Faced with Asher Land’s sudden move, Alexander was really at a loss for words.
This ti, he didn’t co out to stop them, just silently turned his head away, his face blushing red on their behalf.
It must have been a long ti, Asher Land felt the person in his arms was being kissed into a daze, he himself was a bit out of control, so he released her. If they continued, they might be consud by passion.
"Finished?" Alexander sneaked a glance at them.
Sophie Smith really wished she could find a hole to crawl into.
Asher Land said nothing, picked Sophie up and headed to the bedroom.
"What... what are you going to do?" Sophie looked panicked.
"You’re already this sick, I’m not that wild or crazy," he said with a self-deprecating smile, and Sophie lowered her head in embarrassnt again.
"You rest a while, I’ll make so food for you and our son."
"Oh, there are a few restaurants downstairs; the food is decent..."
"Did I say I was going to buy it outside?" He raised an eyebrow, looking relaxed, "I want to cook myself."
Cook himself?
Sophie was so surprised her mouth almost wouldn’t close.
"If you think the food downstairs doesn’t suit your taste, I’ll make it for you."
Asher Land has very picky tastes, but thinking of him cooking just didn’t seem reliable. Wasn’t last ti he was asked to chop so chili, and ended up cutting his own finger?
"Just lie in bed and relax; I’ll be quick." Before Sophie could respond, he turned and left the kitchen.
Asher Land stayed in the slightly cramped kitchen, carefully feeling his way around.
What should I make for her to eat?
Honestly, he can’t cook much at all.
After much deliberation, he took out his phone, checked online, and finally made a decision.
As Sophie lay in bed, she couldn’t sleep at all; she was a bit worried that Asher might end up burning the kitchen down.
In terms of cooking, he and she were about equal.
Sophie stared for a long ti before finally hearing Alexander shout outside, "Mommy, it’s dinner ti."
When Sophie saw Asher’s ’masterpiece’ on the dining table, she was slightly surprised.
"What, not satisfied?" Asher gave her a warning look. Sophie looked at the bowl of plain rice porridge on the table, then at Asher’s warning eyes. How could she possibly say she wasn’t satisfied?
"I looked it up online. For a cold, you should eat sothing light, so what I made is just perfect."
Apparently, soone really doesn’t know what sha is.
Sophie and Alexander obediently sat by the dining table. Sophie lightly sniffed the food in the bowl; a sweet aroma reached her nose. Hm, who would’ve thought Asher’s porridge-making skills weren’t bad at all. Honestly, it seed better than what she usually makes.
Sophie scooped a small spoonful, blew on it gently, and then placed it in her mouth.
The taste of the rice porridge was soft and sweet, extrely delicious.
"Alexander, try it, this rice porridge is really good." Sophie didn’t hold back in praising Asher’s cooking skills.
Alexander, half-believing, also took a spoonful of porridge into his mouth.
"Just okay."
"..."
Clearly, Alexander wasn’t going to easily give Asher face.
