"How about we go out together."
Alexander knew Nolan Davis was going to get food for Sophie Smith, so he volunteered to go out with him.
Nolan Davis didn’t refuse and took him downstairs.
He initially planned to go directly to the restaurant, but he was concerned that the food would get cold on the way back, so he decided to go to the supermarket to buy so ingredients and cook for her himself.
On the way, he gave Amanda a call.
He was a man trying to cook for her, which was sowhat challenging, so he called for Amanda’s help.
"Keep the noise down..."
Amanda was about to co in when Nolan Davis gestured for her to keep quiet. Not fully understanding, Amanda nodded and moved quietly.
Amanda was the head chef, and Nolan Davis was the assistant.
"Mr. Davis, why don’t you step outside? I can handle this."
Amanda found it a bit weird to see Nolan Davis standing there.
"You just focus on your work."

Over an hour later, the al was finally ready.
Nolan Davis tentatively knocked on the door a couple of tis, and this ti, he got a response from Sophie Smith.
Dragging her heavy, tired body to the door, she opened it and was a bit taken aback upon seeing Nolan Davis...
Before her stood Nolan Davis, wearing a casual gray T-shirt with a light blue apron tied around him. A faint smile curled at the corners of his lips, his dark eyes attentively watching her.
"Mr. Davis, you..."
"I just cooked a few dishes, not sure if they’ll suit your taste."
"Alexander ntioned you didn’t eat breakfast and are in a bad mood, and it’s not good to keep starving like this."
Sophie Smith couldn’t say much more. Unable to refuse Nolan Davis’s kindness, she stepped towards the dining table and sat down.
"Amanda?" Only when she got closer to the table did she realize Amanda was there too.
"I invited Amanda to help out today."
"Yes, Miss Smith, today’s dishes were all made by the gentleman here." Amanda didn’t hesitate to credit Nolan Davis with all of it, which made Nolan Davis a bit embarrassed since, out of the five dishes on the table, all he did was the washing and chopping...
Sophie Smith picked up so food with her chopsticks and put it in her mouth. Hmm, it tasted good enough.
Watching her keep taking more bites, Nolan Davis’s mood improved greatly.
"Do you like it? If you do, I can co over and cook for you every evening?"
"Hmm?" Sophie’s chopsticks almost fell to the ground. "No, no, there’s no need...." How could she trouble Nolan Davis like that? How could she let a big boss co over every day to cook for her?
"Little Sophie, to be honest, if you’re willing, I could really do this."
Nolan Davis’s eyes were filled with deep feelings. He had to admit, he had a bit of ’opportunistic’ thinking. He knew she had a disagreent with Asher Land and wanted to ’take advantage.’"
Although he knew that such behavior was indeed quite despicable.
Sophie Smith didn’t say a word, nor did he ask more questions.
He took out a small bowl, filled a bowl of soup, and was about to hand it to her.
"It’s still a bit hot..."
He kept stirring it with the spoon, seeing the steam dissipate slightly before placing the soup in front of her.
Sophie Smith looked at the bowl of fragrant soup and suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of unease swell within her.
Nolan Davis could care about her and understand her so well, so why couldn’t he?
