"Sophie, it’s not you saving , it’s you saving ." He sighed lightly, "I’ve never seen a woman as naïve as you."
"Don’t call naïve..."
Sophie felt a little aggrieved, why is it that whenever he appears by her side to protect her, it seems so natural, but when she decides to do sothing nice for him putting herself at risk, he calls her naïve?
That’s not fair.

Asher Land noticed her mood was off, so he quickly stopped.
The atmosphere once again fell into silence, with no one willing to speak.
Eva Miller had just asked for a few days off from the crew and imdiately rushed over to visit Sophie.
"Sophie, you’re awake! I thought you’d be sleeping for a few more weeks." Eva said with delight, placing the bouquet in a glass vase, "Haha, your resilience is getting stronger, such luck to survive rolling down such a high slope and waking up in two days. I rember when you had that car accident, you slept for a month..."
Eva started rambling as soon as she entered, Asher Land shot her a sharp glance. Only then did Eva stop, giving a couple of awkward laughs.
She was just too excited to see Sophie awake.
"President Land, why don’t you go rest, I’ll take care of Sophie. You haven’t slept for two days and nights..."
"Can you shut up?" Asher Land snapped.
"Hey, third brother, don’t shout at my woman. If you want to shout, shout at Sophie." Luke Land followed Eva around, trailing behind her.
Today he spent the whole day cornering her at the company, but this woman managed to escape his sight under intense protection.
"Luke Land, don’t say random things, who’s your woman?" Eva glared at him viciously. In front of Asher Land, she’s always a little mouse; in front of Luke Land, haha, she’s a tigress.
"Look at yourself, can’t you learn a bit from Sophie?" Luke Land sighed, shaking his head repeatedly, "Sophie is so obedient in front of my third brother, you’re her best friend, her roommate, how co you have such a fiery temper?"

Lying silently on the bed, Sophie finally spoke up. Could Eva stop embarrassing her in front of the Land brothers?
"You say you’re not, I rember when you were filming City of Desire, you often called complaining, saying President Land got angry was terrifying."
Eva recalled those old stories with relish, "You often cried your heart out when you called ."
Asher Land’s brow furrowed unconsciously, did that really happen?
She was very stubborn then, hardly shedding tears in front of him, yet behind his back, she would vent to others and cry profusely?
He turned his attention back to the woman on the bed.
She just moved her lips slightly, showing a look of being called out yet unsure how to explain.
"Eva, stop talking."
Sophie felt embarrassed ntioning those past events in front of Asher Land.
