No one knew if Eva Miller was bringing up her embarrassing story on purpose for amusent; she showed no signs of stopping and continued speaking to herself.
"Rember back then, the thing you ntioned most to was..." Eva pondered for a mont, then glanced at Asher Land, who was seated by the bedside and fixed his gaze unwaveringly on Sophie Smith.
"What was it?"
Asher’s gaze remained fixed on Sophie, but he addressed Eva.
"President Land, do you really want to hear it?"
Hearing Eva’s tone, Asher felt sothing was off.
Playing mysterious.
"Speak."
Eva thought, Sophie used to complain to her back then; now Eva would help her pour out those grievances. In return, Sophie should sincerely thank her.
"Sophie said, President Land, you... you were too exhausting every night, causing her to sleep restlessly. Every morning, she’d feel as if her whole body needed to be reassembled, hurting terribly. Every ti she saw , she’d talk about this and cry..."

There was a brief stillness in the room. Eva observed Asher’s expression. Hmm, it seed like he had no intention of changing after hearing her words.
"Eva!"
Sophie was nearly driven insane by her. When had she ever said such things? She was always thin-skinned, hardly daring to ntion her affairs with Asher in front of Eva.
At most, she’d curse him a few tis and denounce his misdeeds.
Eva had a knack for exaggerating.
"Haha, Little Chili, don’t worry yourself with other people’s marital affairs," Luke Land wrapped an arm around Eva’s waist, "Rest assured, I’ll definitely be gentler than my third brother."
"Get lost!"

Instinctively, Luke moved his hand away from Eva’s waist.
Asher glanced at Luke disdainfully, spineless in front of a woman?
Luke returned a look full of helplessness to him.
A wave of fatigue hit Sophie, she was struggling to hold on.
"I want to sleep," she said, sulking.
"Both of you, out." Asher gave the order to evict ’the two annoying ones,’ Eva and Luke.
The two of them tacitly exited the ward.
"You leave too."
Asher was slightly surprised, then regained composure, "I won’t let you kick out."
"But I don’t want to see you."
She had no intention of erasing past grievances.
"Don’t you already not see?"

Bullying her again!
If Asher intended to shalessly stay here, how could Sophie drive him away with re words of pique?
Her frustration was mounting; she was never a match for him.
Her shoulders were trembling slightly.
"I’m sorry." Though it sounded like a casual apology, only he knew how weighty these words were.
Covering for Irene Morton indeed shattered her heart; she was hurt because of him and endured anguish.
Thus, this apology was sincere.
"Rest well, I won’t disturb you anymore."
Since his presence caused her distress, it was better for him to leave.
Listening to the gradually receding footsteps, Sophie felt a sense of emptiness within her.
No matter what, she couldn’t overco the hurdle in her heart. Although she didn’t want to drive him away, thoughts of Wyatt Sterling made it impossible for her to get along with Asher.
