The older aunties nearby looked as if they had just been fed the sweetest root cakes in the whole tribe.
And her males?

Their expressions truly changed.
Hu Baiyu looked one breath away from dropping to his knees out of sheer emotional overload. His lion ears were up, then back, then up again, and his tail had gone stiff before giving one huge betraying twitch behind him.
Mu Qingyi closed his eyes for one second as if steadying himself, and when he opened them again, the warmth in them had deepened into sothing so full that Lin Huahua imdiately looked away.
Feng Yiren smiled very slowly, very dangerously, and then had the nerve to look smug as if he had personally caused this answer with his own charm.
Her mother clapped her hands once in delight. "Good. Then tonight you are staying for the evening al."
Lin Huahua: "..."
Her mother imdiately continued before she could protest. "You, your males, all of you. Stay. Eat with us. If my daughter is finally using her eyes and accepting her males properly, then I will not let such a day pass without feeding her."
The older aunties nearby nodded as if this was sacred law.
Tu Xiaotao said, "Yes, yes, stay. If you leave now, I will assu you lied."
Lin Huahua laughed a little and nodded. "Fine. We will stay."
That decision pleased everyone so much that the tension around them softened at once. Even the tribe itself seed to breathe easier in that little corner where they stood.
For now, though, Lin Huahua wanted to walk.
Maybe because her emotions were too full.
Maybe because she needed a mont before anyone else asked about babies again.
So she lifted her chin and looked at her males. "I want to take a stroll first. You have no choice but to co with ."
Feng Yiren imdiately said, "As if we were going to let you go alone."
Mu Qingyi smiled. Hu Baiyu nodded once.
They walked for soti finally standing in front of their cave.
Then, because Lin Huahua had beco much too clever lately, she rubbed her stomach.
Just once.
A small motion.
A very deliberate motion.
The effect was imdiate.
All three males noticed.
Every single one of them.
Mu Qingyi’s eyes dropped first. Hu Baiyu leaned in. Feng Yiren’s fox ears perked sharply.
"Are you hungry?" Mu Qingyi asked at once.
Lin Huahua nodded, looking as innocent as fresh snow. "A little."
"What do you want to eat?" Feng Yiren asked, already sounding as if the food would be in her hands within the hour even if he had to hunt it out of the sky himself.
Lin Huahua did not hesitate. "I want roasted fish."
The answer landed, and all three of them imdiately started making plans at once.
Mu Qingyi said they would get fresh fish.
Hu Baiyu was already half turning toward the direction of the river.
Feng Yiren clicked his tongue and looked as if he had already decided he would be the one to bring back the biggest and best fish if he had to argue with the river itself.
They imdiately gathered everything from the entrance of their cave.
Lin Huahua watched all of that, and then a guilty expression slowly appeared on her face.
A very cute guilty expression.
The kind that started in her eyes first, then reached her mouth, then made her ears tilt and her tail curl a little closer to herself.
She looked at them.
Then looked down.
Then looked up again.
Then put on the softest face possible and said, "Can I co too?"
The other two had not even answered yet when Feng Yiren’s red ears flicked sharply and he said at once, "No. You are staying here. I will go alone and hunt it."
Feng Yiren did not even let her finish breathing after that sentence.
He stood there with his arms crossed over his lean, muscular chest, his hide beast skirt hanging low on his hips, his red fox ears flicking upright in pure refusal while his fluffy red tail swayed behind him with all the attitude in the world.
There were still faint marks left on him from yesterday’s bees, though most had already faded because beastn healed fast, and sohow that only made him look even more like a troublemaking fox that had survived so dramatic nonsense and learned absolutely nothing from it.
Lin Huahua puffed up instantly.
"You did not even let explain."
"I do not need to hear the explanation," Feng Yiren said, his red eyes narrowing at her. "The answer is still no."
Mu Qingyi, who had been standing beside them with a freshly woven carrying basket in one hand, let out a soft sigh, though the helpless smile on his handso face showed that he was already getting weakened by her cute act.
His broad chest was bare as usual, his hide beast skirt neat and secure around his waist, and the sunlight catching on his antlers made him look calm and noble in a way that only made his warm brown eyes seem gentler.
"Huahua," he said patiently, "the river is not sowhere to play. We are going there to hunt fish for you, not to take you wandering around."
Lin Huahua imdiately turned to him like a little white rat that had found the soft-hearted one in the group and was about to exploit it shalessly.
"But if you all go, then I will be left here alone." Her voice softened, and her rat ears drooped just enough to make herself look pitiful. "If you go one by one, it is dangerous. If you all go together, then I will be alone. I do not want to be alone."
The mont she said that, Hu Baiyu’s lion ears twitched sharply.
The huge white lion beastman, who had been standing quietly near the cave entrance with two fishing spears in one hand and a bundle of hide cords in the other, looked at her at once. His broad shoulders tensed. His blue eyes softened imdiately, and before anyone could even say anything, he was already stepping toward her.
