The stone path curved toward Lin Huahua’s ho, where the air was quieter and the entrance was shaded by rough stone walls and hanging animal hide curtains.
Only then did Lin Huahua finally dare lift her face from Feng Yiren’s chest. Her cheeks were still red.
She looked around and, after confirming that fewer people were watching, she coughed lightly and tried to return to normal. Then she rembered she was still being carried.

Hu Baiyu could not speak, so he used his body to show what he felt. If he missed her, he waited. If he wanted to stay near her, he stayed. If he was worried, then even if no one could make sense of his actions at first, his body would still carry him to the place he wanted to be.
In the past, Lin Huahua’s placeholder did not care about any of these actions. Instead she would rather disregard them and cause more harm to Hu Baiyu.
And since Hu Baiyu had no one he kept coming back and trying his best to make it possible for Lin Huahua to finally accept him as hers.
Anything Lin Huahua thought of how bad she had treated these males in the past she felt extrely sad.
Was i crazy or what? I wonder who built this simulation, when I get back they are in serous trouble.
Lin Huahua pouted, sotis even the thought of going back did not sit well with her and instead it unsettled her that if she left this world her placeholder would take her place.
Hmm maybe I should really find them a different female before I leave.
Lin Huahua thought to herself and then she looked back at Hu Baiyu’s sleeping figure and suddenly felt a little guilty because he was too good to her.
But then again she also felt he deserved to be scolded.
Touched, but still wanting to scold him.
Both feelings appeared at the sa ti.
So she hurried over with quick little steps until she reached his side.
Then she bent down slowly and called softly, "Hu Baiyu..."
The white lion’s eyelashes moved. As if he had been sleeping lightly the whole ti, he opened his eyes almost at once. For a brief mont, there was still a little haze in his gaze.
But the second he saw Lin Huahua’s face, that haze disappeared completely. His eyes imdiately brightened.
It was so obvious that it was almost unfair.
He did not need words at all. Just that look alone made it clear how happy he was to see her.
Lin Huahua’s heart lted a little. But behind her, Feng Yiren’s face darkened. The fox had only just put Lin Huahua down, and in the next breath all of her attention had already flown to the stupid lion waiting at the door.

Feng Yiren narrowed his red eyes and felt jealousy rise in his chest like sour smoke.
He tried to hold it back. He really did.
But the more he watched Lin Huahua bend toward Hu Baiyu with that soft little voice, the more the fox inside him started baring its teeth.
