"Storm Blade."
Vayu calmly activated the skill despite seeing all the traps and skills headed towards him. He perford a powerful quick slash that released storm elental power. The skill he used destroyed all the traps and even cut the Frost Phoenix arrow into two but that was just the beginning.
Storm Blade is an introductory skill that helps him generate lots of energy for his Storm Gauge. The Storm Gauge is his unique ability bar that can help him unleash his other form that can utilize the more intense variant of wind elental energy. One of the ways to generate energy for his Storm Gauge is the act of hitting skills that have the wind or storm elent.
As soon as Vayu destroyed all the traps and even the Frost Phoenix Arrow using his Storm Blade, Vayu imdiately transcended most of his mortal body and transford into lightning that shot upwards to the sky. All of the ice elental skills and abilities that were supposed to hit him exploded as soon as he attacked it with great accuracy while he was safe from the explosion since he was up above the dark clouds.
Vayu's body and even clothes turned more and more into an elental. His body would fade in and out of existence as it started to turn into wind itself. His hair has permanently turned into lightning while his armor beca different colors of clouds. He partially turned into a full elental, and this happens when his Storm Gauge reaches capacity but even this has a ti limit. Without missing any chance, Vayu charged towards the Frost High Elf Ranger like a streak of lightning.
"Argh!" The Frost High Elf Ranger exclaid in both shock and pain as one of his ears was cut off.
"You managed to sowhat dodge that when I was aiming for your neck. It seems that your instinct is really that of a hunter. Still, you shall die today for all the sins you have committed against the elentals." Vayu stated as he suddenly vanished in place with a flash of lightning.
The Frost High Elf Ranger imdiately evaded by ducking down as he felt the killing intent about to reach for his neck. Vayu did a horizontal slice that released both with and lightning from his katana. The wind and lightning hit the area around them and reduced it back to either water or nothing at all. The Frost High Elf Ranger did not rest as he coated his right foot with sharp ice and perford a kick towards Vayu.
Vayu imdiately redirected his sword downwards to try and cut off the leg of the Frost High Elf Ranger, but the latter activated a mysterious power from his bow. The bow of the Frost High Elf Ranger suddenly glowed in a pale blue color and emitted a bone chilling frost that is sent towards his ice-covered foot. The ice-covered foot hit Vayu's sword and it emitted a sound as if two tals were clashing.
The clash between the ice covered foot of the Frost High Elf Ranger and Vayu's katana created a powerful explosion of ice and storm elent that sent both flying in opposite directions. The backlash from the clash of the attacks were not as grand but it did give the Frost High Elf Ranger so distance against Vayu. The Frost High Elf Ranger's ice covered leg could be seen to have almost shattered but the effects of using permafrost on the body is not good even for a powerful high elf like himself that still has so effects of the curse present.
Vayu did not give any ti for the Frost High Elf Ranger to even recover as speed is his essence. The storm does not wait for anyone to destroy it as it destroys everything around it. Vayu stepped once and he is imdiately next to the Frost High Elf Ranger. The enemy in front of Vayu did not look shocked as if the forr has already noticed how he travels almost instantaneously.
The Frost High Elf Ranger activated the mysterious power of his bow once more and it radiated a powerful freezing energy that clashed with Vayu's katana. The katana that is supposed to at least cut off an arm from the Frost High Elf Ranger is now being blocked by a more powerful ice barrier. This ice barrier could even freeze the katana that Vayu has as the blade started to form layers of frost.
Vayu could only increase his elental manipulation to produce an explosion of lightning. He used the explosion of lightning in order to make sure that he does not destroy his weapon. The mysterious freezing energy that tainted his blade is definitely that of an elental but corrupted in a sense. Vayu knew that the bow that the Frost High Elf Ranger is not an ordinary bow but sothing that could harm him and might even counter him in the long run.
"Even elentals have hierarchies after all! This bow of mine is made from the branch of the Winter Tree that absorbed the Frost Elental King! A High Elental like you could never defeat when you are being weakened by it!" The Frost High Elf Ranger stated as he laughed.
"I see. No wonder I felt that ti was slowing down whenever I try cutting your head off." Vayu stated.
Vayu did feel that sothing was happening every ti he got close to the Frost High Elf Ranger, but he could never tell what it was. He knew that the Frost High Elf Ranger might have great instincts and reflexes but the speed at which he does his attacks made even the latter unable to notice in ti. The only reason for the Frost High Elf Ranger's quick reflexes is either Vayu missing his attacks or a strange power that could montarily freeze ti.
"The legends did say that Elental Kings have powers that are unique to their elent but to think that it was true. The ability to literally freeze ti but you are so weak that you can only slow it down." Vayu stated in a tone that was neither condescending nor mocking.
"Now you know that you can never defeat as I have a weapon that has the power of the Frost Elental King! I shall show you, its greatness! Frozen Ti!" The Frost High Elf Ranger stated as the entire area they are in suddenly looked like frost was building up.
It looked like the area is suddenly covered in a thin coat of ice so delicate but inside ti actually froze. Vayu could be seen having a thin layer of frost on all parts of his body as well as even the lightning and clouds beca suspended in ti. The Frost High Elf Ranger's bow really did have the power to freeze ti but that also ate most of the reserved energy that it has absorbed from the Winter Tree.
"I must kill him now that the Winter Tree is no longer alive. I cannot absorb more power from it to restore the energy of permafrost." The Frost High Elf Ranger stated as he pulled on his bowstring to release nurous ice arrows towards Vayu as he is still a bit wary of getting near him.
Ice arrows could be seen launched at Vayu but all of them hit an invisible barrier. This barrier is made of wind, and it is also frozen in place just like Vayu. He might have been frozen in ti with the surrounding but that also ant that his active skills were as well. Seeing that his normal ice arrows cannot kill Vayu, the Frost High Elf Ranger released another powerful Frost Phoenix Arrow.
"I will make sure to freeze your body so I can siphon your energy until you dissipate!" The Frost High Elf Ranger shouted as he believed that he has already won.
The Frost Phoenix Arrow reached Vayu's barrier and clashed with it for a good five seconds before it truly broke. The power of the Frost Phoenix Arrow decreased but it was enough to damage Vayu to a certain degree. Layers of ice and snow started to cover Vayu's body as his body started to get frozen as the Frost High Elf Ranger also used so permafrost energy on the skill he used. The Frost High Elf Ranger started to celebrate when the storm clouds above rumbled.

Vayu could be seen smiling as the storm above released lightning and rained it down towards him. The layers of frost that built up on his body got washed away as Vayu's body glowed in a dark violet light. The silhouette of a warrior tengu made of lightning could be seen behind Vayu which shocked the Frost High Elf Ranger to his core.
"You should have finished when you had the chance. I guess a hunter that plays with his prey will never learns his lesson. Arashi Kamikaze!" Vayu shouted as he sliced the sky in half.
