The Frost High Elf Warrior found himself in a location where spires of ice are placed all around them. The area itself is still covered in ice and snow but there are so obstructions around them like ice pillars or frozen stones. Sensing the killing intent directed at him, the Frost High Elf Warrior imdiately raised his sword to parry the spear that aid for his head.
A crisp sound of two tal weapons hitting each other resonated in the area. The Frost High Elf Warrior did not show any panic in his eyes as if he has everything in control. He rely activated so energy from his sword to empower himself and send Frey flying back.
The blast of cold energy and even the strengthening of the Frost High Elf Warrior made Frey need to gain so distance as she felt the danger around her. She imdiately rotated mid air and kicked the air itself by creating a foothold using a magic circle. She repositioned her spear to make sure that she will not be getting blocked by the ice pillars or ice rocks.
"A Valkyrie dared to battle . I guess you are quite confident in yourself seeing that you have not called for your sisters. Oh! I can capture you and use you as a hostage to make the Valkyries do what I want. Your sisterhood is the weakness of your kind as you cannot let your sisters go as long as they are alive.
I even rember back then when we used one of your kind to make the Valkyries back off from fighting us. Such a sha that she killed herself in order to not burden your kind. Well, we did use her corpse as an ice sculpture to send a ssage." The Frost High Elf Warrior stated as he wanted to make Frey lose her mind as he knows that Valkyries are very sensitive when it cos to their other sisters.
"I rember my sisters telling that story, but I also rember how pathetic they said all of you Frost Elves back then are. The fact that all of you shrunk back in fear and opted to vanish from the world instead of valiantly fighting to your bitter end is only what cowards do." Frey replied.
The cold facial exterior of the Frost High Elf Warrior could be seen cracking as his anger peaked for a mont before he controlled it. The Frost High Elf Warrior wanted to rebuttal but what Frey said is true because he was there when they beca cowards. The Frost High Elves opted to vanish from the annals of history in the northern continent than proudly fight against those that retaliated against them.
"Words are for the weak. Weapons should do the talking." The Frost High Elf Warrior stated as his sword suddenly glowed in a pale blue mist.
The Frost High Elf Warrior slashed his sword forward and it released a sword wave that had the power of ice in it. The attack was so quick that Frey could only attempt to dodge it as the sword wave cut through ice and snow. Frey dodged the attack but soon found the Frost High Elf Warrior near her.
Frey kicked her feet and did a flip backward to gain so distance. She found herself in the area where ice spires are located with only about three ters distance against each other. The Frost High Elf Warrior deliberately lured Frey in this area as he knows that she would have limited movents in a more crowded area as she uses a spear.
The Frost High Elf Warrior thinking that he would gain an advantage now could be seen sneering at Frey. He was already thing of things that he could ask the Valkyries for in exchange for her freedom. He even thought to himself that he is incredibly lucky because of the fact that only one of them is present. If there were two then he might have a difficult ti depending on their abilities, but a group of Valkyries will definitely slaughter him.
"If you surrender then I will not treat you harshly." The Frost High Elf Warrior stated with an expression of superiority.
"Did you really think that you would win just because you have cornered in this part? Frey stated as she suddenly slamd her weapon to her knee.
The long spear that is about two and a half ters suddenly split into two parts. A longer pike that is about one and a half ters in length with a one-ter short sword. With a quick movent, Frey imdiately did a thrusting motion with her pike which the Frost High Elf Warrior blocked with his sword. Frey already thought that her initial attack would be blocked which is why she followed it with a slash from her short sword.
The short sword managed to create a small cut on the face of the Frost High Elf Warrior. The cut would have been deeper if the Frost High Elf Warrior was not able to dodge but his reflexes were incredibly trained. The Frost High Elf Warrior did not even need to look at the direction of the short sword, but he dodged it with minimal effort although he was cut by it since it was pure reflex.
Frey charged as she advanced with great speed since she knew that this would make her control the battle. The Frost High Elf Warrior and Frey entered a lee brawl against each other. Both combatants were skillfully dodging each and every strike they did against each other. There are tis where so attacks would connect but the best that they got were a few cuts.
Frey might look like she was controlling the flow of the battle, but she noticed that she was slowing down. Her attacks connect more often, and the Frost High Elf Warrior has more cuts, but she felt that she was the one draining more stamina. She only realized what was happening when her arm has a slightly larger cut.
