"Both of you are getting too much attention just from existing. Maybe we should split up in order to cover more ground. The slum area is bigger than the other ones after all." Lycan stated.
"Agreed. Just inform anyone of us using the chat if one found the hidden entrance." Adrian stated as all of them split up just as they said.
Adrian imdiately used Sirius and Charon to investigate if there are any paths in the sewage system in this kingdom. He could see that there are large waterways that connects to an underground area. He cannot enter from the canals directly in the daylight as that would gain attention. They needed to be silent as there are so vampires roaming around in this kingdom as of the mont.
Lycan took a different approach as he can enter a pub and that ans he can get information easily. He entered the closest one he can find and is actually a bit shocked to find that it is not full. They entered the kingdom when it was almost ti for lunch but the place he is in has barely any custors. One might say that this one is close to the slum area which is why it is not as bustling but the prices on the nu were quite low.
"I think you are in the wrong place, clean boy." The pub owner stated as he could see that Lycan was dressed cleanly compared to the others inside the pub.
"I am in the correct location if you are talking that way to then. I need so help regarding what is happening inside of this kingdom. I believe this would suffice for an introduction." Lycan stated as he slipped in a gold coin towards the pub owner.
"What do you want to know then? You can have one free question for the gold coin. Succeeding ones will cost extra. I believe you know this type of deal." The pub owner asked as he easily hid the gold coin that was slid by Lycan.
"Okay then. I want to know so things so this would be quite a chat session." Lycan stated as he proceeded to get information.
Solstice was different from the others as she road the slum area, and the stares of the people could be seen. She was beautiful even in plain clothes and she also used magic to change the color of her hair to brown. What she did not know is that there are stares of malice among the ones she is being given.
She proceeded to ask the little stores in the slum area for information. It seems that beauty really does work in most cases as she was graciously answered by all the rchants she talked to. It also helped that she bought so of their items to ease up the lips. After all, rchants will get chatty as long as money is involved and a bit of flattery.
Solstice gained the information that the slum area is more orderly now as a bunch of knights started to patrol. There is also a curfew given which is why so of the people are a bit unhappy. The slum area usually becos energetic during the night, but the king banned any activities during the night for now. Only a few establishnts were given the right to operate during the night due to what happened.
It seems that the citizens were not inford on why they are being stricter during the night. The king or the remaining mbers of the royal family must have been hiding the fact that vampires attacked them. It was a given as vampires were not really beings that are active or pushed themselves into the lilight. So might even say that vampires are rely made-up stories since there are monsters that can suck your blood.
"You should be very careful, beautiful maiden. A lot of young girls have suddenly vanished from the slums which is why most of the young girls no longer co out at night or when dusk arrives. They even avoid the dark alleyways because so young girls were reported to have vanished there. Most of the ones that vanished were orphans which is why most did not care but we did report it to the authorities." The vendor whispered to Solstice as she gave her a warning.
"Thank you for the warning. I will be very careful. Please have this as a gesture of goodwill since you talked to and warned unlike the others." Solstice stated as she gave a silver coin to the vendor which she graciously accepted.
Solstice already felt it the mont she was talking to the vendor. Stares that were unlike the others that were filled with wonder and amazent of her beauty. She could feel the stares of beings that wanted to abduct her which is why it made her smile. She did not expect that she would beco a target for the ones that are abducting young girls.
"Should I be flattered that they think of as a young girl? Or maybe it might be due to the other sick hobby of that Crazy Blood Queen?" Solstice thought as there are other hobbies she did not tell Adrian about the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory.

One of the sick hobbies of the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory is the torture of beautiful won. If she is not taking a recreational dip in the blood of young maidens, then she would be torturing beautiful people.
She dislikes anyone that has superior beauty compared to her. She also makes sure to destroy their face first while doing so. Solstice learned of this when she almost cornered the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory. She entered one of the hidden chambers of her forr hideous and found the mangled corpses of different won. She was so mad at the ti that she tortured one of the vampires they took for questioning.
