Now reading: Chapter 666 663: The Return of the Young Man (Part 2) from One-Eyed Monster, a Fantasy novel by Weyyao.

The emotionally stirred Kuren gradually regained his sense of self. Even in his negativity, there was a touch of defiant stubbornness.

It brought him back to the ti he was fighting the Slaughterer—that stubbornness, that persistence, things he could never forget.

"You're right. Even if we walk, we should hold our heads high."

When a person's emotions are stirred, their thinking tends to be relatively straightforward.

That was Kuren now. He no longer pondered whether the voice was Igor's, nor did he care if he would ultimately be devoured by his opponent.

Only one thought existed in his heart right now: to be himself.

Although it seed like a very simple matter, from Igor's perspective, everything was in complete chaos.

He had wanted to have a proper discussion with Kuren, but now there was no chance.

Kuren fought with bloodshot eyes, roaring that he was Kuren and not the Slaughterer, yet his actions were those of a bloodthirsty maniac.

Igor could only look on and shake his head incessantly.

It seems that in the end, we can only rely on a miracle.

"How's it going? Everything smoothly?"

Suddenly, another one-eyed monster appeared beside Igor. This monster's blue skin was now crystal clear, sparkling with light as if the entire creature were a light source.

"Things aren't going well. We might be finished," Igor confessed dispiritedly to the one-eyed monster.

That monster was, naturally, Kadi. Having established the Fire Tree Silver Flower, he had been working diligently to connect everyone's perspectives.

He succeeded. Kuren and the others built an Inner World. Within this Inner World, Kadi constantly channeled his Spirit Power, allowing everyone to communicate freely without his interference. Of course, he couldn't enter it himself, but he was confident in offering a few bad ideas.

But now Igor was telling him they might be done for, which shocked him.

Kadi wouldn't feel loss; that emotion seed to be permanently missing from him.

"How can we be finished? I see them having a great fight," Kadi said to Igor, pointing at the group of resisters.

"Everyone is fighting individually, and the enemy's main force is pressing in. We're not coordinating at all and can't withstand their subsequent advances!" Igor said to Kadi. His analysis of the current situation was quite rational, like that of a field commander.

But Kadi didn't see it that way. The scene he perceived was different.

He saw everyone fighting hard, while the opponents were just emotionless Puppets, re walking dead. With such a stark contrast, those rich in emotion would undoubtedly win, as those devoid of feelings would eventually be forgotten.

So, from Kadi's perspective, they would ultimately achieve victory.

Kadi had expended a great deal of effort to find Igor, hoping they could quickly escape their current predicant.

"We have no way out now. Look at the troops behind us; they're closing in. Once they attack, we'll have absolutely no ability to resist."

Igor continued to provide this analysis to Kadi, but Kadi didn't care in the slightest. He only wanted to see what the emotionless Puppets were truly capable of.

"Our ultimate goal is to create chaos, right?" Kadi suddenly blurted out.

"What? What are you talking about? We're in a state of war right now." Igor couldn't imdiately grasp Kadi's intentions.

To be honest, Igor had experienced great ups and downs. Although he quickly understood the enemy's offensive intent, his own abilities were unfortunately limited, and he couldn't resist.

If not for his inner Scale of Faith buying him so ti, he might have beco one of those Puppets by now.

The old woman from the Scale of Faith had bought him precious ti, allowing Kadi to find him. Igor shared his judgnt with Kadi, and Kadi didn't disappoint. Though not swift, he eventually connected everyone. This was truly remarkable.

But what Kadi did next was even more extraordinary. After completing the Fire Tree Silver Flower, he focused on how to save Igor. He overca nurous obstacles, eventually found Igor again through the Ant Connection Spell, and brought him back.

The returning youths, full of vigor and fearlessness, would eventually lead everyone out of their difficulties.

This world would ultimately belong to these young people.

During the process of saving Igor, Kadi encountered nurous difficulties, but he overca them all.

It seed that ntal attacks had little effect on him; they would only waste his ti.

This was an inexplicable matter, one no one could clearly explain. Even their opponent, the Dark Force, was surprised by this phenonon.

However, the existence of individual cases would only be overshadowed by the larger picture; the importance of the overall situation would render these exceptions invisible.

This instantly beca Kadi's advantage. This advantage enabled Kadi to travel around freely using the Ant Connection Spell. This ti, however, he didn't cause any disruptions; he dedicated all his freedom to saving Igor.

In the end, with the help of Igor's Scale of Faith, Kadi defeated the entity attempting to spin tales in Igor's world.

Naturally, the old woman from the Scale of Faith deserved significant credit.

Kadi had simply delivered a kick when the opportunity arose.

Therefore, from Kadi's perspective, the Dark Force wasn't invincible; it also had weaknesses.

Moreover, he never considered their opponents unbeatable.

Kadi believed many people flinched before the fight even started, always viewing the enemy as mysterious and incomprehensible. But when it ca to a real fight, weren't all those perceptions just illusions?

That's why Kadi asked Igor this.

"Isn't our goal just to create chaos?"

"Right now, two armies are facing off..."

"But ultimately, we're just causing chaos, aren't we? We knew we weren't a match for them. Everything we've done was to disrupt their rhythm, right?"

"Yes!" Igor was left speechless.

"And later, you discovered that the enemy fears us, right?"

"This..." This was just a deduction Igor had made, sothing he'd noticed during the battle, but it had yet to be proven.

"You said they weren't letting us communicate because they feared us, right?"

"That's what I said, but it's just a hypothesis," Igor quickly responded.

"A hypothesis naturally has its reasons, doesn't it?" Kadi suddenly sounded quite astute; after all, deep thinking wasn't usually his forte.

"Uh..." Once again, Igor was left speechless.

"So, we still have opportunities. We don't need to worry about our current disadvantage," Kadi shrugged, appearing confident.

"Then what do you think we should do now?"
