"I have to say, your talent for Devil Fruit abilities is almost on par with that guy, Tesoro." Aeridar couldn’t help but smile wryly. "Yeah, that’s right. Both of you are bastards who like to call yourselves ’gods.’"
The world of One Piece isn’t without religion, but there are so many monsters that the gods people believe in are likely no match for the true powerhouses who can destroy the world.
For example, 400 years ago, the Shandian tribe’s snake god, Kashigami, was easily killed by Noland and the great warrior Kalgara, and the descendant of the "snake god," Master of the Sky Nola, was also knocked out by a single lightning bolt from Enel.
In other words, being called a ’god’ isn’t worth much.
That’s why when people encounter truly terrifying powerhouses, they are more willing to call them monsters rather than "gods." Or perhaps, people’s idea of a "god" is not just a powerful being, but a truly omnipotent one.
"You’re on your last legs, and you still dare to disrespect ’God’!"
Whether it was because of his Amaru transformation or not, Enel’s voice was now louder, more confident, and even more irritable. With that, he threw a punch at Aeridar in the forest. A lightning bolt as thick as a barrel instantly erupted, making the heavens and the earth lose their color.
"Good! I hope you can give a good fight!"
Aeridar’s eyes widened, and a hint of madness appeared on his face. At the sa ti, a savage aura surged outward from him, kicking up a storm of dust. The surrounding tree branches were bent by an invisible force.
Whoosh!
Aeridar then threw a punch, and a terrifying force erupted as an impact. The air in front of him suddenly beca chaotic, forming a hurricane-like current that transford into a massive, visible shockwave.
Rumble!
The massive shockwave and the barrel-thick lightning bolt collided, creating a trendous roar. The lightning was scattered in the air, while the solid shockwave beca a massive current that swept through the surroundings like a violent gale.
Rumble! Rumble! Rumble!
Aeridar and Enel, in his Amaru state, continued to exchange blows.
The massive shockwaves and barrel-thick lightning bolts created a catastrophic aftermath that destroyed the surrounding environnt.
The shockwaves grew stronger with each punch, the lightning bolts beca more powerful, and the roars beca more deafening.
The strong winds from the dispersed shockwaves were almost strong enough to uproot trees dozens of ters tall.
Boom!
With a trendous roar, the giant, ten-ter-tall Amaru Enel instantly appeared above Aeridar and slamd his foot down. "Ha!!! Die—!"
Rumble!
The ground shook and cracked, and countless deep fissures rapidly spread outward, covering a large area in a spiderweb-like pattern.
At this mont, Aeridar dodged the attack and flew into the air, his two arms swelling up and his skin turning as black as tal. "You’re still a long way off! Armant Hardening: Twin Bear Pillars!!!"
With a shout, Aeridar unleashed a double-fist attack at the thunder god Enel’s abdon. The punch was so powerful that it created a strong gust of wind.
Thump!
"Ugh!"
The air vibrated, sending out a torrent of chaotic air. The black fists hit Enel’s lightning body as if it were a solid object, instantly caving in his abdon and causing him to spit out a mouthful of blood.
Enel’s massive body was sent flying backward, rolling through the forest and kicking up a cloud of dust. He also knocked down dozens of giant trees on the way.
Zzzzzzt! Zzzzt!
A few hundred ters away, Enel knelt on the ground, barely holding his Amaru form.
"Cough, cough... How is this possible? I am ’God’!"
Enel leaned on a large tree, his hand carbonizing the tree with a strong electrical current. His face was filled with disbelief. He thought his Amaru form would have been enough to destroy the disrespectful man.
Suddenly, Aeridar clenched his fists, lifted his right arm, and balled his hand up into a fist. The veins on his arm bulged, and the muscles hidden under his sleeve rippled like a dragon, almost tearing his clothes.
"Ha! Impact Cannon!!!"
Aeridar roared and threw a punch.
Whoosh!
A massive gale of wind erupted from him. The air in a radius of dozens of ters around Aeridar suddenly beca chaotic. The imnse air current turned into a white wave that ford a large, visible pillar of light that shot forward.
Rumble, rumble, rumble...
The pale white pillar of air extended, crushing everything in its path. The ground was torn open and caved in, forming a long, semi-circular trench.
"What?!"
Enel’s eyes widened. Before he could react, the Impact Cannon struck him, instantly creating a three to four-ter-wide hole in his chest. It continued through him, also piercing a small hill behind him.
"Huh? I’m okay?"
Enel, who was prepared to be severely wounded, opened his eyes and watched the hole in his chest gradually heal, still in a daze.
Thump!
But before he could figure it out, Aeridar suddenly appeared in front of him like a phantom. His pitch-black right fist slamd into Enel’s face.
The sudden blow snapped Enel’s head back and caused his colossal body to stagger, almost making him lose his balance.
"Damn it! I am a god!"
Enel shook his head, looking at Aeridar with rage. He imdiately threw a punch at him. Aeridar hovered in the air, fearless of the giant fist made of electricity. He t it with a punch of his own.
Boom!!
The small, black fist and the large, blue-and-white fist collided. A distorted ripple swept outward from the two of them. The air seed to explode, creating a violent shockwave that radiated with the power of the attack.
Trees and boulders within a hundred-ter radius were ripped from the ground and sent flying into the sky, kicking up a storm of dust. At the sa ti, the ground beneath Amaru Enel’s feet could not withstand the imnse force, and it cracked and caved in.
However, Aeridar was much stronger than Enel. After a mont of stalemate, Amaru Enel’s right arm exploded, unable to withstand the man’s power. His body began to topple backward.
Whoosh!
Before Enel could fall completely, Aeridar pressed his hand in the air, and a shockwave erupted, completely dispersing the upper half of Enel’s body.
Rumble!
The remaining half of Enel’s body fell to the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Zzzzt, zzzzt, zzzzt!
Enel could no longer maintain his Amaru form. The remaining half of his body flickered for a mont and then dispersed into countless arcs of electricity, revealing his original body.
