That day was one of light and hope for Nami and her sister, for the villagers of Cocoyashi, and for everyone who had lived under Arlong's tyranny across the Conomi Islands—for the first ti in ten years.

The dark clouds that had lood over them for a decade vanished all at once. To everyone, it felt almost unreal.

But it was real.

Thanks to Nami's efforts—and the arrival of that man—everything had changed. The fishn who had oppressed them for years were finally gone.

Naturally, Peter was hailed as a hero by the islanders—so even revered him as a god.

They gave him everything they had—food, treasures, whatever remained—holding a sumr festival in his honor. It may not have been the biggest, but it was certainly the most passionate and sincere celebration they had ever seen.

Even after they learned that Peter was the one behind the recent earthquakes and tsunamis, their admiration didn't wane. If anything, their respect for his power only grew.

Peter, feeling a bit embarrassed, decided to return all the money Arlong had collected from the villagers that day.

As for the treasure in Arlong Park?

Sorry—but that was pirate bounty, rightfully earned.

That night, under a bright moon and starry sky...

The villagers lit a massive bonfire at the heart of Cocoyashi Village. n, won, and children gathered around, singing and dancing in celebration of the fall of the Arlong Pirates.

At the center of it all sat Peter and his crew, enjoying the best seats at the festival.

Peter devoured the feast with wild abandon, savoring every dish the villagers had brought.

Raising his cup high, he called out to the girls gathered around him—including Nojiko, who had recently joined—and shouted:

"Drink up, everyone! On a night like this, no need to hold back. Enjoy the food and booze to your heart's content!"

Then he downed his cup in one gulp.

The girls, caught up in the festive mood, followed suit, raising their drinks—whether alcohol or juice—and joined in the toast.

After finishing her drink, Nojiko closed her eyes happily and said:

"Mr. Peter, I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself. Everyone in the village was worried the food might not suit your tastes—we were afraid we couldn't host you properly."

Peter laughed heartily.

"A Saiyan's stomach can handle anything! I don't have likes or dislikes.

Besides, your food has a unique flavor—I truly enjoyed it."

"That's wonderful!" Nojiko sighed in relief. Having their savior satisfied was all they hoped for.

Peter chuckled as he set down his cup, allowing Mikita to refill it attentively.

"But... it's not just the feast that has in high spirits..."

Suddenly, he turned toward Nami, whose face was already flushed from drinking.

"There's sothing I've been holding back for a long ti... and I've decided to say it tonight."

"Nami... do you rember our deal?"

Nami sobered up slightly upon hearing that, nodding earnestly despite her dizziness.

"Of course. I'm deeply grateful to you. I would never go back on my word.

Tomorrow, I'll give you all the money I saved over the years—as thanks for giving the chance to take revenge with my own hands."

Peter waved her off casually:

"No, no—that's just a small thing. Do you really think I care about a hundred million Berries?

I don't need the money... What matters is the extra condition of our deal, rember?"

"You said if I helped you take down Arlong, you'd do anything I asked. Did you forget?"

His eyes grew sharp.

Under his gaze, Nami's body began to heat up—perhaps from the alcohol... perhaps not.

She slowly placed her cup down, then nodded with a blush.

"Yes... I said that. And I have no intention of backing out."

"So then... you already know what I want."

"It's exactly what you're thinking." Peter confird with a sly smile.

Around them, Vivi, Karina, and Tina rolled their eyes in unison.

Mikita whispered to herself, alard: "A new rival..."

Robin, anwhile, finally understood the source of Peter's unusual excitent all day.

"Ah... So that's what this was all about..."

But Nojiko, on the other hand, felt a terrible sense of foreboding growing inside her.

"Wait a minute! What are you two talking about?!

Nami... don't tell you made another promise for the village's sake?!

This ti, I won't allow it!"

From an angle the others couldn't see, Nami bit her lip, closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and suddenly stood up.

She looked down at Nojiko from above and announced boldly:

"No, I'm not planning to sacrifice myself this ti."

The other girls' expressions grew oddly complex, while Peter remained seated, watching with interest.

Nojiko blinked, still confused. "Then what... do you an?"

Maybe it was the alcohol, but Nami suddenly grew daring.

She walked over to Peter and smacked him a few tis on the back.

"Look at him! Muscles, handso, and there's no one in the world who could match his strength!"

"And the most important thing—he's super rich!"

Then, taking a deep breath, Nami shouted with all her might:

"Listen up, everyone! From today forward, Peter is my man!

I, Nami, chose him!!"

"Rember—it's not him who chased , but who chased him! Got it?!"

Her voice echoed across the entire square, overpowering all music and chatter.

Everyone at the festival turned their heads, staring at Nami and Peter.

Grinning mischievously, Nami wrapped one arm around Peter's neck and threw a victory sign at the crowd.

A massive cheer erupted as people raised their cups in salute, offering their blessings.

Gen shed a tear, eager to tell Bellere the good news.

The girls laughed in delight—but to Peter, this was serious.

"Damn it! Has the world flipped upside down?!

I'm a proud Saiyan, and yet a woman declared ownership over ?! I won't stand for this!!"

Suddenly, he stood up, lifted Nami over his shoulder, making her yelp.

"Let's go!"

With a sharp slap to her backside, Peter growled:

"Quiet down. Where's your house? I'm going to show you what happens when you challenge !"

Nami's face turned scarlet, but she didn't back down.

She grabbed his tail and smirked:

"You think I'm scared? Just follow my lead—and if I don't exhaust you to the point you can't leave bed, I'm not the great Cat Burglar Nami!"

"Bold words," Peter laughed.

"I hope you're just as bold tomorrow!"

With the villagers cheering them on, Peter carried Nami off toward her house.

"Wait—what? What's happening?!" Nojiko shouted in disbelief.

She watched them disappear, while the other girls casually kept eating and drinking, so casting respectful glances at Nami.

Nojiko cried out, "Aren't you going to stop them?!"

Robin raised an eyebrow and replied coolly:

"Stop them? Why? And what makes you think we can?"

Nojiko stamred, "But he's your captain, isn't he?! How can he do that to one of his own crewmates?!"

Mikita crossed her arms and answered confidently:

"So what? There's no rule at sea against falling in love—or even getting married."

Then Karina delivered the finishing blow with a mischievous smile:

"And who said we're his crew? We're all his won~"

Nojiko nearly fainted.

"This idiot... she escaped one beast, only to fall into the jaws of another!"

"No! I won't just sit back and watch Nami get hurt again! I'm her big sister—I won't allow it!"

Determined, Nojiko stood and ran after them—even though she knew the gap between her and Peter's strength was enormous, she couldn't let Nami fall into another abyss.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Vivi called, standing up to follow—

Only to be stopped by Robin, who grabbed her wrist.

"Robin?"

Robin gently shook her head, signaling for her to calm down, then spoke:

"It's fine. Let her go. Even if she interrupts Peter's 'mont,' he won't hurt her."

"That man still has limits. He won't lay a hand on a woman—especially not a beautiful one."

Vivi looked slightly reassured...

But Robin hadn't finished.

"...He won't lay a hand on her. But who knows what else he'll lay?"

She smiled, lifted her juice, and said:

"Now then, let's toast—to the two new additions to our crew~"

"Robin!!! Be serious!!" Vivi shouted, her face bright red.

"Hehe, don't you think this is fun?"
