"Bang!"
Kaido slamd his fist onto the table and roared, "World Governnt, I won't forget this! I'll slaughter every last one of you! Marco, I agree with what you said earlier. We'll attack the Holy Land directly. I want those Celestial Dragons to experience the terror of war themselves!"
Big Mom, however, frowned and spoke with clear dissatisfaction. "And how exactly are we supposed to fight? Our Three Emperors Alliance has fewer than twenty thousand people left. Do you really think that's enough?"
She had no intention of facing the Gorosei again. Against the Marines, even Admirals didn't intimidate her. But the Gorosei were different. Their power was abnormal, overwhelming to the point that even she couldn't deal with them.
Still, she had no way out. Her hatred toward the Marines and the World Governnt had reached its peak, and both sides would never allow her to walk away. Kaido and Marco wouldn't let her leave either.
Marco looked at her calmly. "Big Mom, after fighting the Gorosei and the God's Knights, you should understand one thing. No matter how many ordinary fighters we bring, they're useless against those monsters. This war isn't like fighting the Marines. Those people are practically undying. Without Conqueror's Haki, killing them is nearly impossible."
Big Mom clicked her tongue. "This old lady knows that. But knowing and actually doing it are different things. Even if I understood your thod, it wouldn't matter. The Gorosei are still too strong."
Kaido let out a mocking laugh. "Worororo, Linlin, that doesn't sound like you. I've already grasped that power. In a one-on-one fight, I don't fear any of the Gorosei."
Big Mom snorted coldly. "There are still four of them left. Don't get ahead of yourself. They won't go down easily."
Yamato stepped forward, her tone firm. "Don't worry. Ace and I both have Conqueror's Haki. We can fight too."
Big Mom glanced at them with clear disdain. "Just the two of you? If they hadn't used that so-called Four Soul Divine Blood, you might have held your own for a while. But after using it, they're far stronger than you think. Even this old lady struggled."
"That just ans you're not strong enough," Yamato shot back.
"What did you say?" Big Mom's expression darkened instantly. Being looked down on by Kaido or Marco was one thing, but hearing it from Yamato was another matter entirely. "You brat, do you want to teach you what respect ans?"
Ace imdiately stepped in. "Sorry, Yamato spoke without thinking."
Big Mom's gaze turned cold as she looked toward Marco and Kaido. "How are you two raising this girl?"
Marco replied indifferently, "She's not mine to discipline. If anything, that's Ace's responsibility."
Kaido snorted. "I gave up on her long ago. That's why I married her off, she was nothing but trouble."
Then his expression shifted into a teasing grin. "But Ace, looks like you and Yamato are getting along well."
Ace smiled openly. "Yamato is kind. Easy to get along with."
Yamato wrapped an arm around Ace's shoulder and laughed. "Old man, back on Egghead, Ace and I tead up and defeated Admiral Ryokugyu. Next ti, we'll take you down together. Make sure you're ready."
Kaido scoffed. "Defeating an Admiral isn't anything worth bragging about."
Even though he was slightly surprised, he clearly didn't take it seriously. Admirals were not a threat to him.
Marco let the conversation settle before speaking again. "After this war, our alliance has taken severe losses. We need to decide our next steps."
His gaze shifted between Kaido and Big Mom.
"But before anything else, we need a leader. Soone to unify command. Kaido, Big Mom, what do you think?"
Big Mom's expression turned serious for a mont, then she suddenly laughed. "Mamamama! As for leading, this old lady will pass. I don't like admitting it, but in terms of strength, I'm not equal to either of you."
Marco nodded slightly, then turned to Kaido. "What about you?"
Kaido took a deep drink from his sake gourd, then grinned.
"Worororo, you've challenged more than once. If I refuse now, wouldn't that make look like a coward?"
He leaned forward slightly, his eyes filled with excitent.
"And you gained recognition from that robot. I don't like that one bit."
"Whether you're Joy Boy or not doesn't matter. I want another proper fight with you. Just like before, I'll push myself past my limits and see if I can surpass you."
