He glanced at the bandages wrapped around Kaido's body and added, "To be clear, you're still injured. If I win, don't call despicable."

Kaido laughed carelessly. "Worororo, that doesn't matter. I am injured, but you were also hurt during the Egghead Island War. Your recovery is just better than mine, so you've already healed."

A deep cut opened across Kaido's abdon. His dragon-scale defense offered no resistance at all.

Ignoring the pain, Kaido countered with a punch.

A red flash flickered in Marco's eyes. He moved again, his blade slicing into Kaido's arm.

Kaido roared in pain and opened his mouth. "Blast Breath!"

Violent wind blades surged forward, striking Marco and blasting him backward.

Yet when the attack ended, Marco stood unhard. Not a single wound marked his body. He did not even need to use his flas to heal.

"This... Kaido-sama was injured so easily," King muttered in disbelief as he watched.

Jack, standing beside him, was equally stunned. "Even Kaido-sama's attacks aren't working on Marco."

King had already known Marco was strong, especially after the Egghead Island War, but he had not expected this. Kaido's attacks could not even break Marco's defense.

Had the gap between them grown this wide?

In King's mind, only one explanation made sense. Otherwise, there was no way to explain Marco's rapid rise in strength after becoming captain.

Marco continued without hesitation. "That's right. The fruit he ate was never the Gum-Gum Fruit."

"It's a Mythical Zoan, the Human-Human Fruit, Model Nika."

Ace was stunned. All those tis Luffy shouted "Gomu Gomu" now carried a completely different aning.

Kaido planted his club into the ground and let out a low laugh. "Worororo, it doesn't matter anymore. Whether Joy Boy exists or not is irrelevant."

He looked up, his eyes sharp.

"Instead of waiting for so savior, why don't we beco the ones who change this world ourselves?"

His words stirred the pirates of the alliance. Despite their heavy losses in the Egghead Island War, they had destroyed Uranus, one of the Ancient Weapons. That alone was a massive blow to the World Governnt.

Kaido grinned fiercely. "Forget Joy Boy. Let's enjoy this fight, Marco."

With that, he charged forward once again.
