Dragon's gaze locked onto Marco as he made a decision.
He was going to test him first.
A surge of power erupted from Dragon's body, an overwhelming burst of Conqueror's Haki spreading outward like a crushing tide aid directly at Marco.
The air itself seed to distort under the pressure.
But Marco did not move.
Instead, a far more terrifying wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded from his body in response.
It did not just resist Dragon's force, it instantly swallowed it whole.
Dragon's expression changed in an instant.
The pressure reversed like a storm turning against its origin, and Marco's Conqueror's Haki ca crashing down like a solidified red tsunami.
The impact was so intense that even the atmosphere seed to fracture under its weight.
Lightning, a mber of the Revolutionary Army, collapsed imdiately, unconscious before he could even react.
Ivankov and Sabo struggled desperately to remain standing, their bodies trembling as they stared at Marco in shock.
Like an invisible ocean pressing down on them.
Sabo gritted his teeth. "What kind of Haki is this?"
Cold sweat rolled down Dragon's face.
He had never felt anything like this before.
Even among the strongest he had ever encountered, nothing compared to this overwhelming presence.
If this was Marco's Haki alone, then his true strength was beyond calculation.
Dragon understood it instantly.
If they fought, he would lose.
There was no uncertainty in that conclusion.
As Marco maintained the pressure, he noticed sothing.
The island beneath them, composed entirely of layered waste and unstable debris, began to crack under the force.
Seawater started forcing its way through the broken ground.
The entire foundation of the island was beginning to collapse.
Marco's eyes narrowed slightly.
So the structure really was this fragile.
Without hesitation, he withdrew his Conqueror's Haki.
Instantly, the crushing pressure vanished.
The red lightning disappeared from the air, and the trembling ground stabilized.
Marco looked at Dragon with an indifferent expression. "How was that?"
Dragon stared at him like he was looking at sothing unnatural.
After a long silence, he spoke through clenched teeth. "It seems an alliance is out of the question."
Ivankov turned sharply toward him. "Dragon, wait, what are you saying?"
Dragon did not look away from Marco. "The Revolutionary Army is sothing I built over more than twenty years…"
He did not finish the sentence.
But everyone understood what he ant.
Vegapunk stepped forward quickly. "Hold on, this is unnecessary. We clearly share the sa enemy. We can work together."
Marco spoke before anyone else could respond. "We can cooperate."
His tone was steady.
"I have no intention of refusing an alliance with the Revolutionary Army. We share the sa objective, the World Governnt."
He paused slightly before continuing. "But unified command is not possible. Still, having another ally is better than having another enemy."
Kaido let out a rough laugh. "Worororo, exactly. Even if we don't get along, as long as we share an enemy, we can work together."
Big Mom smiled ominously. "Mama mama, that's right."
The tension eased slightly, but the atmosphere remained heavy.
Dragon exhaled slowly.
He understood now.
This had been a demonstration of power from the beginning.
And they had lost that contest.
There was no point resisting reality.
Kaido planted his spiked club into the ground and spoke coldly. "Linlin already said it. The real power in this world is at the top. Overthrowing nations ans nothing if the true monsters remain untouched."
He tilted his head slightly.
"The Gorosei, the Knights of God, and that Imu, those are the real threats."
Dragon's eyes sharpened at the ntion of those nas.
"So that is the level of enemies we are dealing with," he said quietly. "What exactly are they?"
Marco exchanged a glance with Kaido and Big Mom.
Then he spoke.
"Since we are cooperating now, I will clarify a few things."
He raised a hand slightly.
"First, the Knights of God. Their exact number is unknown, but over a dozen have already been seen. Each one has strength no weaker than a billion Berries bounty pirate, and they possess immortality."
A heavy silence followed.
Ivankov frowned. "Immortality?"
Marco nodded once. "Yes. True immortality. They do not die easily."
Sabo's expression darkened. "There has to be a weakness."
"There is," Marco replied. "But that will co later."
No one interrupted him.
Marco continued.
"Next, the Gorosei. They also possess immortality. Ordinary attacks do not work on them, even Sea Prism Stone appears ineffective."
Dragon's eyes narrowed slightly.
Marco's voice remained steady. "In their normal state, each of them has power comparable to an Admiral."
A few mbers of the Revolutionary Army stiffened at that.
Marco continued. "But they have sothing else. A substance, a kind of blood augntation. When used, it increases their power drastically, far beyond Admiral level. Even the Emperors would struggle against them in that state."
The reaction this ti was sharper.
Shock spread across the Revolutionary Army.
Marco did not stop.
"Finally, Imu."
The air seed to grow heavier again.
"She is a Celestial Dragon who has lived for eight hundred years. The true ruler of the world."
He paused briefly.
"At Egghead, I encountered only a clone of Imu, but even that clone possessed power beyond the Gorosei enhanced by that blood augntation."
