"Gabababa! It's ready, make yourselves at ho, eat, there's plenty for everyone", Brogy says with a laugh, handing the four a giant piece of roasted at.
"Hmm, thanks, if I may ask, why are there human bones over there?", Sabo asks curiously, his guard slightly raised.
"Oh, that? It takes at least a year for any Log Pose to register the next island on the route, so either these humans die trying to survive on the island or they die trying to attack and the other giant who lives on the island", Brogy explains before taking a big bite out of a roasted piece of at.
"Phew, I thought he ate humans, I feel a lot more at ease now", Usopp whispers, much more relieved now, cutting a bit of the at for himself and starting to eat too.
"A year?", Kaya asks, wanting to confirm what she just heard.
"Yes, at least a year!", Brogy answers her while devouring the roasted piece of at in front of him.
"Damn, Vivi and Nami aren't going to like this information at all", Kaya comnts, already imagining Vivi and Nami's reactions when they learn about it.
"Ehh, Mr. Brogy!", Nojiko says, calling Brogy's attention.
"Mr. is my late father, just call Brogy! What do you need, little one?", Brogy says with a smile before asking Nojiko what she wants.
"You use an axe and a shield, right Brogy?", Nojiko asks, an idea forming in her mind.
"Gababababa! Yes, little one, I'd even say I'm one of the best giants wielding an axe and a shield!", Brogy says with a laugh, giving a light kick to the shield at his side.
"So, as you can see, I also use an axe and a shield, could you give so tips to improve my handling?", Nojiko asks shyly, seeking guidance from the giant.
"Gabababababa! Of course, little one, show what you know and I'll give you so tips", Brogy responds, gladly agreeing to give her so pointers on improving her axe and shield handling.
And so, everyone continues socializing, with Nojiko showing her axe and shield handling, receiving many valuable tips to improve her fighting style.
=Scene Break=
"Wow, this is really good, old man!", Luffy comnts, finishing eating a giant piece of roasted at, wanting seconds since he was still hungry.
"Gegyagyagyagya! And your little pirate snack is really good too, just a bit too small!", Dorry says, laughing loudly as he pats his leg.
"Good, because if you said it was bad, I'd punch you!", Luffy says before grabbing and starting to devour another piece of roasted at.
"Gegyagyagyagyagya! What a funny little guy!", Dorry laughs heartily.
"Well, this amount is small even for , but it's just a pirate snack to nibble on in the middle of the adventure, so I guess it's fine", Luffy says, referring to the size of his pirate snack that Dorry just ate.
"Those two beca friends pretty quickly, didn't they?", Vivi leans to the side and asks Nami.
"Well, it just goes to show how charismatic that idiot is. I wouldn't be surprised if sohow he convinced this giant and at least two more dinosaurs to join the crew if we stayed here for more than a day", Nami says, glancing at her Log Pose to see if it had already recorded the next island.
"Gegyagyagyagya! It seems you're known for being charismatic, little one!", Dorry comnts, having overheard Vivi and Nami's conversation.
"I'm just being myself, not trying to be charismatic or anything", Luffy says, devouring the roasted piece of at in front of him without caring at all about this charisma thing.
"Gegyagyagya! Good answer, little one! By the way, little lady using the Log Pose, it takes at least a year for any Log Pose to register the next island on the route", Dorry comnts with a laugh before turning to Nami and informing her about the ti needed for a Log Pose to register the magnetic field of the next island.
"What? A year?", Nami exclaims in surprise, processing what she just heard.
"A year? I can't stay here for a year, my holand...", Vivi exclaims in shock, looking devastated by the information.
"Don't worry, Vivi, we'll figure sothing out. Mr. Dorry, isn't there any other way? An Eternal Pose or sothing like that", Nami reassures Vivi before turning to Dorry and asking.
"Well, the other giant on the island and I have an Eternal Pose that leads to Elbaph, but it's in the other half of the Grand Line, so I don't think it would be very useful to you", Dorry says, informing them.
"Damn, what do we do now?", Vivi asks helplessly, covering her face with her hands.
"Well, there's always the option of letting the wind guide you guys. Who knows, you might get lucky and reach your intended destination", Dorry says, suggesting this option to them.
"Good idea, with how lucky we are, that might just work", Luffy says, seeming thoughtful.
"Gegyagyagyagya! You're really funny, little one! Gegyagyya!", Dorry laughs heartily.
"By the way, you said there's another giant on the island, right? Why are you guys on this island? Don't you have a ho?", Luffy asks, still devouring his giant roasted piece of at.
"Yes, the other man and I are from Elbaph, an island of Warrior Giants, it's on the second half of the Grand Line, but Elbaph has laws. If you start a dispute and neither side can win, we wait for the judgnt of the God of Elbaph. He always grants divine protection to the just. The other giant and I had a disagreent, and we've been using this island as a battle arena ever since. The side that is just will win and survive, but honestly, after over a hundred years, I don't even rember why we started this fight! Gegyagyagyagya!", Dorry says, laughing at the end.
"You guys are been fighting for over a hundred years?", Luffy asks, amazed.
"It's not that surprising, us giants live more than the triple as long as you little ones! Gegyagyagya!", Dorry comnts as if it's no big deal that they've been fighting for so long.
"Still, do you guys hate each other so much that you keep fighting even after forgetting the reason you started?", Vivi asks, frowning.
"Actually, no, we're best friends, practically brothers", Dorry clarifies.
"So why keep fighting for so long when you guys don't even rember why you started fighting in the first place?", Vivi asks, outraged that two close friends have been fighting to the death for so long without even rembering why they began.
At that mont, the island's largest volcano erupts with a loud bang, drawing everyone's attention. "Boommmm!!!"
"Honor, little one, it's all about honor", Dorry says, standing up and grabbing his shield and sword.
"Honor, honor, what kind of reason is that and where are you going?", Vivi asks, getting irritated with this ridiculous logic.
"After a while, it practically beca a tradition. The eruption of the island's largest volcano signals that it's ti to fight", Dorry explains, moving toward where the silhouette of another giant could already be seen approaching.
"Vivi, forget about it, these two giants are stubborn, you can't argue with people like that", Nami says, already knowing very well how this type of person works.
Dorry and Brogy then charge toward each other, disappearing from where they were previously and reappearing halfway, blocking each other's attack coated with Advanced Armant Haki with their shields, also coated with Haki.
As soon as their weapons and shields make contact, a deafening boom echoes across the island, with the pressure from their attack devastating the area around them, uprooting trees and causing earthquakes.
"Wow! I feel like fighting them", Luffy murmurs, sensing that these two would give him a good fight.
