After the first impact, the two giants continue exchanging devastating blows with all their strength.
"I think we've spent too much ti away from ho, Dorry", Brogy says, attacking Dorry with a powerful blow from his axe.
"I agree, that's why I'm going to finish you off now and then head back to Elbaph, Brogy!", Dorry comnts, defending himself from Brogy's axe attack with his shield.
Dorry then pushes his shield forward with force, sending Brogy a few steps back, before moving into attack.
Seeing Dorry advance for an attack, Brogy throws his shield coated with Advanced Armant Haki at him, like Captain Arica does, to montarily interrupt his advance.
Seeing this throw coming a second in advance with his advanced Observation Haki, Dorry tries to dodge the attack, and although he manages to avoid being hit directly, the shield was thrown with great force and speed, ending up striking his hand that was holding the sword.
With the impact causing him to drop his sword, Dorry continues his advance by lifting his shield, not attempting to retrieve his sword since Brogy was already in front of him, holding his axe high with both hands, ready to deliver a devastating vertical strike.
The sound of the impact from Brogy's axe, coated with Advanced Armant Haki, hitting Dorry's shield, also coated with Haki, reverberates throughout the island.
Noticing the axe deeply embedded in his now-cracked shield, Dorry strikes the handle of Brogy's axe with his free hand coated in Armant Haki, breaking it in half. He then pulls his shield to the side, throwing it to the ground along with the broken axe embedded in it.
The two, now without weapons in their possession, resu their fight, this ti engaging in hand-to-hand combat.
"They're really going all out, aren't they?", Kaya asks no one in particular, watching the two giants engaged in hand-to-hand combat, refusing to back down even for a second.
"Yeah! What a battle! They're going all out without backing down an inch", Usopp comnts, impressed by the display of combat unfolding right in front of him.
"It's amazing to think that these two have been trying to kill each other for over a century", Sabo says, impressed by their strength.
"Wow, he threw the shield the sa way I had shown before, and better than I did", Nojiko comnts, recalling how Brogy had told her he liked the way she threw the shield, even though she still had a lot to improve before being able to use those throws effectively in the middle of combat.
While watching intently, Usopp murmurs with admiration, "Wow, they fight like this... and don't even know why!"
"It's a stupid and pointless fight", Kaya comnts, expressing her opinion on the matter.
"Wow, wow, Kaya, baby, this isn't stupid at all, this is a true battle between n!", Usopp turns and says to Kaya after snapping out of his admired stupor.
"What do you an?", Kaya asks, blushing upon hearing Usopp call her that way.
"Think with , let's say each of them carries a flag on their chest stamped with the word 'warrior,' and that flag is more important than their own lives! They can't let it be damaged, and so, to protect their flags, they've been clashing heads for over a hundred years, get it? This is a true and pure battle of honor between two real warriors!", Usopp says, growing more enthusiastic the more he speaks.
"Hmmm, I understood it, but I still think it's stupid", Kaya says, still thinking it's stupid that the two have been fighting for so long without even rembering why they started in the first place.
"...Sigh... well, at least you understand", Usopp murmurs after letting out a sigh. He then crosses his arms and says, turning his gaze back to the ongoing battle, "That's it! The 'Brave Warrior of the Seas' I've been looking for! This is the kind of warrior I want to be!"
"So... you want to be a giant?", Nojiko asks, confused.
"No, idiot, did you even hear what I said? Besides, I can already get as big as a giant, I ate an Akuma no Mi, rember?", Usopp asks, getting irritated.
"Right, I forgot about that, but how do you know you can get as big as a giant if you've never tried it before?", Nojiko asks doubtfully.
"Luffy said I can, and he knows about these things", Usopp responds, trusting what Luffy had told him.
"Back to the topic, if these warriors have a holand, I'd love to visit it soday!", Usopp comnts, turning his gaze back to the battle between the two giants, which then cos to an end when they both land a direct punch to each other's face.
Falling backward to the ground, Brogy says, "73,466 battles..." to which Dorry responds, "73,466 draws."
"GABABABABA! GUESS WHAT, DORRY? I ACHIEVED SO RUM OF MY GUESTS!", Brogy comnts, shouting and laughing heartily.
"GIVE A LITTLE TO WET MY WHISTLE! GEGYAGYAGYAGYA! SO GOOD! I HAVEN'T DRUNK ANYTHING IN A LONG TI!", Dorry says, shouting and bursting into laughter along with his friend.
=Scene Break=
"Gegyagyagyagya! So those other little ones are your friends, there was a big-nosed guy, two girls, and a guy with a mask", Dorry says, informing Luffy and his group about the four he saw when he went to grab so rum at Brogy's house.
"Must be Usopp and the others, looks like they decided to go explore too", Luffy says with a smile.
"So this rum is yours too, thanks for the drink then", Dorry says while drinking the rum from one of the barrels he grabbed.
"Hmmm, why do I feel like I'm forgetting sothing?", Luffy murmurs, having this strange feeling that he is forgetting sothing.
=Scene Break=
"Brave Warrior of the Seas? What's that?", Brogy asks, confused about what the little big-nosed guy was saying.
"It's you two! I aspire to be like you guys one day!", Usopp says excitedly, explaining what he ant.
"A giant?", Brogy asks, scratching his head, even more confused.
"No, damn it! Why does everyone co to that conclusion?", Usopp asks, irritated.
anwhile, beside him, Kaya laughs amusedly, watching the interaction between her boyfriend and the giant Brogy.
"I want to live my life with honor! Just like the warriors of Elbaph!", Usopp says, a determined expression on his face.
"Gabababababa! I see! Good choice, little one, as we giants live much longer than you little ones, we seek an honorable and proud death, wealth, fa, all of that will cease to exist one day! For us warriors of Elbaph, dying without losing our pride is 'dying with honor,' our honor is our greatest treasure, which is passed through the soil of Elbaph", Brogy says, raising the barrel of rum in his hand to his mouth to take a drink.
"So your honor is your treasure", Usopp comnts, admiringly.
And at that mont, simultaneously, while the two giants were drinking rum, the drink in the barrels in their hands along with the drink in their stomachs explodes, injuring them a little. Fortunately, the damage wasn't significant, as with their advanced Observation Hakis, they managed to see the explosion happening a second before it actually occurred and then managed to protect themselves with Armant Haki more or less in ti, suffering little damage in the process.
'Ohhh! So that's what I was forgetting', Luffy thinks, finally rembering what he had forgotten.
