The death of a God Hand caused the entire space to tremble. Slan's red lips parted slightly, disbelief clear on her face as she struggled to accept that Conrad, a fellow God Hand, had been killed. His ability to preserve his own life had even surpassed hers.
If Aether could kill Conrad, then her own death was no longer unthinkable.
Void's presence shifted, his composure breaking as a surge of anger spread through the space. His sharp voice echoed with fury.
"Damned mortal, you dare to kill Conrad and disrupt my God's plan. Do you understand what you have done..."
Before he could finish, Aether cut him off with a burst of Conqueror's Haki. He had no interest in listening to aningless talk from so-called gods. His blade remained pointed at the remaining three God Hands as he spoke again.
"I ca here to see what you're made of, whether you are stronger or if my blade is sharper."
Silence returned. This ti, none of them dismissed his words. He truly intended to wipe them out.
A thunderous sound echoed as Aether pushed off the ground and charged toward Slan. Just as he reached for his sword, he abruptly changed direction and rushed toward Ubik instead.
Spatial rifts appeared ahead, dangerous and unpredictable, but Aether had already foreseen them with his Observation Haki.
Ripples spread through the space in front of Ubik as Void appeared instantly, blocking the path. As their leader, he would not allow another God Hand to fall.
More rifts ford ahead and behind Aether, closing in to trap him.
Aether simply flicked his finger. A chain shot forward, passing through a spatial rift and wrapping around Void's arm. The stitched eyelids twitched.
"Caught you. Co here."
With a sharp pull, Aether dragged Void toward him and swung Ace. A dark red slash tore across Void's body, leaving a deep wound.
Flas of advanced Conqueror's Haki surged as Aether prepared to finish him, but Slan intervened. Her wings crossed in front of Void, blocking the fatal strike. The impact tore into her wings again, but it gave Void the chance to escape by severing his own arm.
Aether did not hesitate. He turned and unleashed his strongest attack at Slan. Holding his blade with both hands, he struck with overwhelming force, nearly splitting her slender waist in two.
Another spatial rift appeared to shield her, but Aether had already anticipated it. He moved instantly, targeting Ubik again. Severely injured, Ubik could not even use half his strength.
"Void, save ..."
His plea was cut short as a brilliant slash passed through space and cleanly severed his head.
Without pause, Aether punched through the eggshell surrounding Griffith's ascension, revealing the nearly ford God Hand, the Hawk.
Their eyes t for a brief mont.
Then Aether's sword qi cut him down as well.
"I hate treacherous trash the most."
A series of notifications echoed:

The deaths of two more God Hands caused the space to tremble violently. This ti, the disturbance felt deeper, like a roar rising from the depths of existence.
Aether spoke with a faint smile.
"Void, is that your master's roar from the abyss? Quite intimidating."
Void said nothing. He could see clearly now, this human did not fear his master at all.
After a brief silence, Void spoke again.
"That chain of yours, it is a weapon ant to bind gods. It can also travel through space, correct?"
"That's right. The Chain of Heaven. Otherwise, I wouldn't claim I could kill all of you."
Aether's straightforward answer made Slan's face turn pale. Fear surfaced in her expression for the first ti in centuries. Since becoming a God Hand 864 years ago, she had long forgotten what fear felt like.
Aether's strength alone already surpassed theirs, and now he wielded a weapon that could restrain gods and bypass Void's abilities. If the battle continued, their complete annihilation was inevitable.
Just as Aether prepared to continue, Void and Slan's bodies began to fade.
Aether narrowed his eyes.
"Running away already? No revenge for your companions?"
Slan spoke first, forcing a smile now that she was retreating.
"Scary young man, don't be so confident. One day, you will die in my arms."
Aether's gaze turned cold.
"Is that so? When I find you, I'll make sure you regret saying that."
His killing intent silenced her instantly. The thought of facing him alone made her uneasy.
"I... forget what I said."
Aether looked at her briefly, unimpressed.
Void interrupted.
"You are no ordinary human. Killing three God Hands proves that. You should be considered a god. What is your title?"
"I'm not a god. Call Aether."
Void paused, then replied calmly.
"Very well, Aether. Let us hope we never et again."
With that, the two disappeared completely.
The space began collapsing. Monts later, everything returned to a grassy plain. Humans and the remaining Apostles stood scattered across the land.
Their fate, however, was already sealed.
Aether reappeared inside the cabin of his ship. In his hand were two shimring, multicolored wisps, Divinity.
According to ancient records, there were only three ways to obtain such power.
First, ascend to demigod status and ignite divine fire.
Second, slay a god and extract it.
Third, inherit it through the bloodline of a true god.
Aether had no hesitation. He used it imdiately.
