Clouds churned violently across the horizon.
A streak of red light tore through the sky like a cot.
Luffy could no longer tell exactly where he was.
With the naked eye, he couldn't even see Enel's figure anymore.
But that didn't matter.
His Observation Haki could sense Enel's position—and it could also sense the distant location of Upper Yard.
That alone was enough.
What truly puzzled him was Enel's speed.
The Rumble-Rumble Fruit certainly granted top-tier speed in the world.
But Enel hadn't awakened his Devil Fruit. There was no way he should be so fast that Luffy couldn't even touch the edge of his clothes.
There was only one explanation.
Enel had gone all-in.
He was burning his own life force to push his speed to the limit.
"Trying to run? Too bad… my Observation Haki already locked onto you."
Luffy grinned confidently as the red light around him surged faster.
"Hm? He stopped."
Luffy sensed Enel's presence suddenly halt.
More than ten minutes later, he finally saw him.
Enel stood there, his face pale, his body already on the brink of collapse.
"It's over, Enel."
Luffy's arm ignited with flas as Armant Haki coated his fist.
"12 minutes and 36 seconds… let's just call it ten minutes," Enel muttered quietly.
"What?"
A bad feeling rose in Luffy's chest.
But his punch had already been thrown.
Enel stretched out his left hand and laughed wildly.
"I may die…"
"But your friends… Angel Island… the Shandians…"
"Not a single one of them will escape!"
BOOM!
His left hand exploded, bursting into a cloud of blood.
Yet he acted as if nothing had happened.
His right hand gripped his golden staff, lightning crackling across it as he swung toward Luffy.
Luffy's pupils shrank.
He vanished in an instant.
The next mont—
Enel was gone.
Luffy's Observation Haki surged to its limits.
Far away within the clouds, a streak of blood-stained lightning flashed across the sky.
Its desHination was—
Upper Yard.
"ENEL!!"
Dark red lightning surged across the heavens as killing intent erupted from Luffy.
White steam poured from his body.
Crimson lightning tore across the sky.
Two bolts of lightning—
Would descend upon Upper Yard at different tis.
Upper Yard — Upper Ruins
Ohm swung his long blade.
The sword lashed through the air like a whip.
One Shandian after another fell.
"Damn it!"
Wyper dodged the attacks while firing his launcher.
But the strike was blocked by a shield ford from Ohm's blade.
His weapon was forged from Iron Cloud, giving it the properties of cloud.
The blade transford into a shield—
Blocking Gan Fall's spear.
Then it shifted again into a whip—
Slashing across Pierre, wounding him.
Pierre and Gan Fall crashed to the ground together.
Ohm rested his sword on his shoulder and looked down at the struggling Wyper.
The blade swung again.
It stretched and warped, shooting forward like a serpent.
Wyper couldn't avoid it.
Blood sprayed as he was slashed.
"Cough…!"
Neither Wyper nor Gan Fall was in peak condition.
Wyper's leg bone had been broken earlier by Sanji.
Gan Fall's shoulder had been pierced by Shura, leaving him barely able to hold his spear.
And yet—
They still refused to unite.
Defeat seed inevitable.
"I won't give up!"
"It's been four hundred years!"
"We haven't returned ho for four hundred years!" Wyper struggled to stand.
"Heh… it's exactly because of desires like that that war exists," Ohm said coldly.
"Die."
His blade lashed out again like a serpent.
At that very mont—
A figure stepped in front of Wyper.
The sword shattered his armor.
Blood and fragnts of bone flew into the air—
But the attack was stopped.
The crack carved into the ground by the blade ended right at that figure's feet.
"Gan Fall… why?" Wyper's face twisted.
"Wyper… it was our Sky People who wronged you," Gan Fall said.
"Our ancestors' greed stole this land from you."
"For four hundred years your people have been forced away from your ho."
"But this war must end."
"I believe there must be a way for our two peoples to live together in peace."
"There must be."
With regret, determination, and hope—
Gan Fall collapsed.
"Idiot!! What are you saying?!"
"You're making our people's four hundred years of wandering aningless!"
"You think your hope matters?! Who do you think you are?! Wake up!!"
Wyper roared at him.
Yet tears stread down his face.
That stubborn old man who kept coming to their land seeking peace—
Again and again—
Even after being driven away.
Deep down…
Wyper also wanted peace.
Lower Ruins
"What's happening up there?" Zoro asked, sensing the chaos above.
"Who cares?" Nami said lazily.
"Gold is what matters!"
She was lying on a pile of golden artifacts, her eyes literally turning into Berries symbols.
Robin continued studying the ancient text intently.
"If you're that curious, we could just go up and take a look," Sanji said casually while smoking.
Upper Ruins
Wyper barely dodged Ohm's attack.
Pain shot through his injured leg.
"Damn it… I need an opening."
He glanced at the Reject Dial in his hand.
Suddenly—
A wall collapsed.
Ohm's giant dog appeared and punched Wyper backward.
At that instant, the serpent-like blade struck again.
Even after discarding his launcher, Wyper wasn't fast enough.
Before he could reach Ohm—
He was blasted away.
"Damn it… it's all because of that Blue Sea man…"
"No… this is my fault."
Wyper laughed bitterly as Ohm approached.
"I believe I said this was the Ordeal of Iron," Ohm said calmly.
"The survival rate is zero percent."
"Why do you people keep dreaming?"
"Dreaming of breaking myths."
"Dreaming of surpassing God."
"Wouldn't it be better to accept your salvation?"
He raised his sword.
But suddenly he paused—then burst into laughter.
"Two more fools have arrived to challenge a myth."
Wyper looked confused.
Then he saw them.
Two figures had appeared above the iron cage surrounding the battlefield.
One of them he recognized.
"Diable Jambe!"
"One-Sword Style — Lion's Song!"
BOOM!
Two massive holes were blasted open in the iron net.
Suddenly, Ohm's serpent blade shot toward Zoro.
But Zoro casually raised his sword—
And blocked it effortlessly.
"What?!"
Ohm launched a flurry of attacks as his Iron Cloud blade twisted into irregular shapes.
Yet every strike—
Zoro blocked easily.
So this is the last priest?
Zoro narrowed his eyes and glanced at Sanji, who was casually dealing with the dog.
"Leave him to . I've never cut down a priest before."
"Sure. I've already beaten two anyway," Sanji shrugged.
"You bastard…"
Zoro charged forward with two swords.
Ohm's blade couldn't reach him.
anwhile Zoro kept advancing.
Panic spread across Ohm's face.
Then Zoro stopped.
He drew his third sword.
"One sword style is 36…"
"Two sword style is 72…"
"So three sword style should be…"
"Ah, whatever."
He assud his stance.
Three-Sword Style — 180 Pound Phoenix!
Instantly—
Over a hundred blue slashes roared through the air.
They intertwined and overlapped—
Then crashed down upon Ohm.
When the smoke cleared—
Priest of the Ordeal of Iron — Ohm — was dead.
His dog Holy lay nearby, covered in lumps, completely unconscious.
"Who… who are you people?" Wyper asked in shock.
The powerful Ohm had been erased so easily.
anwhile Zoro looked completely untouched—aside from a little dust.
"We're pirates."
Sanji lit a cigarette and said the word calmly.
"It's finally over…" Wyper sighed.
"No. It's not over," Zoro said suddenly, staring at the storm-filled sky.
Blue lightning surged within the clouds.
"If that's the case… does that an Luffy—?" Sanji said, concern creeping into his voice.
"Tch. Instead of worrying about that…"
"Think about how we deal with him."
Zoro drew his sword.
Cold wind swept past his eyes.
Wyper stood there completely confused.
Then—
A massive pillar of blue lightning, thick as three people embracing, crashed down from the sky.
A battered figure appeared within it.
The drums behind his back were gone.
Several massive holes tore through his chest—broken bones visible inside.
One-third of his head had been blown away.
His entire left eye was gone.
Blood continued to pour from his left shoulder.
Yet his right eye remained the sa—
Cold.
Proud.
Looking down on humanity.
"Enel!"
Everyone was shocked.
Not only that he appeared—
But that he was still alive in this state.
Suddenly Wyper charged forward despite his injuries.
Zoro and Sanji, however, stopped moving.
Their Observation Haki told them sothing.
Enel was extrely dangerous right now.
And indeed—
In the next instant, Enel appeared directly in front of Wyper.
He raised one finger.
"30 Million Volts — Discharge."
Wyper collapsed instantly.
Enel looked down at him indifferently.
Then he raised his hand toward the sky.
Lightning surged from his body into the clouds.
The next mont—
Endless blue lightning rained down from the heavens like the end of the world.
"Hahahahaha!"
Enel laughed like a demon crawling out of hell.
"Humans never respect God…"
"Fear itself is God."
