Upper Yard — Endless Forest

Sanji leapt back and forth through the dense trees of Upper Yard's forest.

Eventually, he arrived at a stretch of solid cloud ground. Beneath the white clouds lay ruins representing an ancient civilization.

"So this is the place?" Sanji muttered, looking toward the gigantic vine towering into the sky in the distance.

Just then, a strange man approached.

He had a bizarre expression and was rolling his eyes upward, scanning the surroundings.

"Where is he? Is he invisible?"

Sanji's mouth twitched as he stared at the man like he was an idiot.

"Lord Gedatsu! If you roll your eyes like that, you can't see the enemy!" a nearby God's Army soldier shouted while cupping his hands around his mouth.

"Oh, I forgot!" Gedatsu suddenly realized.

His pupils finally rolled back down into place.

"Idiot."

Sanji didn't hesitate.

He raised his leg and kicked straight toward Gedatsu's head.

BANG!

Gedatsu was instantly sent flying straight into a patch of Swamp Cloud—a cloud formation with swamp-like properties.

anwhile, the soldier quickly fled.

Sanji raised an eyebrow but didn't bother chasing him.

Instead, he looked at Gedatsu curiously.

"So… you're a priest?"

"That's right! I am the priest who serves God—Gedatsu!" Gedatsu declared proudly.

Though he had sunk into the swamp cloud, jets of air suddenly burst from beneath his feet, lifting him into the air.

He looked down at Sanji.

"Welco to the Ordeal of Swamp, where the survival rate is only fifty percent!"

Deep Within the Ruins

Robin gently touched the stone engraved with history.

"I think I've finally found… the aning of my life."

Tears glimred faintly in the corners of her eyes.

Since sailing with Luffy and the others, she had experienced happiness countless tis.

But pursuing history was still the one thing she truly desired.

And now—

She had finally discovered clues to the Void Century.

At that mont, a large man appeared behind her, staring with hostility.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Robin asked, crossing her arms protectively in front of the ruins.

"I am Captain Yama of the God's Army. As for my purpose… isn't it obvious?"

Yama leapt forward heavily and threw a punch.

"Impact Punch!"

Robin glanced at the stone behind her and crossed her arms again.

"Twenty Fleur — Calendula!"

Ten arms sprouted from Robin's palms, spinning rapidly to form a simple shield.

BOOM!

Robin's back slamd violently against the stone monunt.

Soon, her delicate back was scraped raw, and thin streaks of blood flowed down her arms to the ground.

This idiot has no idea how valuable historical ruins are…

If I let him rampage here, who knows how many priceless relics will be destroyed.

I have to lure him away.

Robin made up her mind and prepared to retreat.

Just then—

"Hey… what's going on here?"

A man with three swords at his waist and goggles on his head walked over while scratching his head.

Behind him stood an energetic orange-haired beauty.

"Zoro… Nami?" Robin said in surprise.

Seeing them, Yama imdiately charged toward Zoro.

His fist rose high.

"Impact Punch!"

"Watch out!" Robin warned.

Zoro narrowed his eyes slightly.

His right hand moved instantly.

He drew his sword without even looking—

Then casually swung.

A slash streaked across Yama's chest.

Yama was sent flying backward, crashing heavily into the ruins.

"Where did this trash co from?" Zoro muttered as he sheathed his sword.

Elsewhere — Sanji's Battle

"You'd better watch where you step," Gedatsu said arrogantly while floating above the battlefield.

"This entire area is filled with Swamp Clouds. Step on one and you're finished!"

The next second—

A leather shoe smashed directly into his face.

Gedatsu was kicked flying.

Sanji spun through the air, his leg drawing a beautiful arc.

An orange-red fla ignited along his leg.

Then a faint coating of Armant Haki covered it.

Sanji rapidly closed in on the falling Gedatsu.

"I don't have the ti or patience to keep playing with you."

"So… Diable Jambe!"

The flas reflected in Gedatsu's widening eyes.

A narrow pillar of fire shot from the ground up through the forest canopy.

Priest of the Ordeal of Swamp — Gedatsu — defeated.

The Giant Vine — Upper Ruins

A massacre was unfolding.

"Run!"

The once fearless Shandians had lost their morale and hid behind a wall.

"Eleven."

Nearly a hundred ters away, a bald man stood behind several stone barriers with a cruel smile.

He swung the sword in his hand.

Strangely, the rigid blade suddenly beca soft and flexible, stretching unnaturally long.

With a single swing—

The ground split open.

The slash tore through multiple stone walls in an instant and pierced a Shandian's chest.

"When people have desires, they fight."

"But once they die, they no longer desire anything."

"So allow to save you."

The bald man muttered to himself.

Suddenly—

A rocket blasted toward him.

He quickly dodged.

At the mont of the explosion, a spear-wielding figure lunged forward.

CLANG!

Their weapons clashed as they passed each other.

"Gan Fall?!" the bald man exclaid.

He looked toward another approaching figure.

"Wyper!"

"To think the Shandians would join forces with the forr God of Skypiea… how amusing."

The man sneered.

"This is the Ordeal of Iron, where the survival rate is zero percent."

"I am Priest Ohm."

"Prepare yourselves for judgnt!"

The Battle Begins

"Ohm jumped onto his giant white dog.

"Holy—go! Today I'll allow you to slaughter freely!"

Gan Fall mounted Pierre, circling through the sky with spear in hand.

Each ti he thrust downward, Ohm blocked with his sword.

The two riders—and their animals—beca entangled in fierce combat.

"Die!" Wyper roared.

He fired his launcher.

Burning Cannon!

Blue flas erupted across the battlefield.

After the smoke cleared—

Pierre had already carried Gan Fall into the sky.

Behind Wyper, however, a massive shadow appeared.

"Watch out!" Gan Fall shouted.

Ohm's dog had circled behind Wyper.

"Is it going to bite ?" Wyper dodged quickly.

But the dog suddenly—

Threw a punch.

Yes.

A punch.

Wyper was blasted away.

"What kind of movents are those?!" Wyper thought in shock.

"I am a Sky Breeder," Ohm said proudly while sitting cross-legged on the dog's head.

"I've trained my animals not only in discipline."

"They can walk fully on two legs…"

"And I've even taught my beloved dog boxing."

At that mont, Gan Fall dove from the sky with his spear.

Ohm blocked the attack with his sword.

Just as Gan Fall landed back on Pierre—

Wyper fired another Burning Cannon.

Pierre dodged swiftly.

"Wyper, stop! I—"

"I what?" Wyper shouted angrily.

"Are you going to say we're not enemies?"

"To us Shandians, you old man and Enel are the sa!"

He fired another Burning Cannon.

"You won't even listen anymore?" Gan Fall sighed as he dodged.

The attempted alliance had completely collapsed.

Now—

It had beco a three-way battle.

Ohm's dog suddenly appeared beside Wyper and threw another punch.

"Tch. Just a stupid dog!" Wyper scoffed while firing back.

But in the next mont—

Ohm swung his sword.

The blade extended instantly, slashing across Wyper's body.

Blood sprayed as Wyper was knocked to the ground.

"Hm? More people have arrived," Ohm muttered.

As if responding to his words—

Several God's Army soldiers and Shandian warriors climbed into the upper ruins.

Ohm smiled.

"Interesting."

"Then the Ordeal of Iron officially begins."

As his words fell—

Iron nets suddenly rose from the ground, enclosing the entire upper ruins like a cage.
