Kaku and Jabra had already transford into their full beast forms, glaring fiercely at Zoro, who leaned against the wall as if he had fallen asleep.

They exchanged a glance.

The two beasts suddenly lunged forward.

"Finger Pistol!"

The wolf Jabra thrust his sharp claws toward Zoro.

The cursed blade Sandai Kitetsu rose in front of him, blocking the strike. Jabra couldn't advance even an inch.

Zoro slowly opened his eyes.

"Have you decided how you want to die?"

Above him, Kaku in giraffe form swung his long legs repeatedly.

"Tempest Kick — Ran!"

Hundreds of crescent-shaped air blades filled the room like a teor shower, raining down toward Zoro.

Zoro showed no fear.

With a slash he knocked Jabra away, while his other hand drew the fine blade Yubashiri.

"Two-Sword Style — Black Rope: Dragon Twister! (Santoryu: Tatsumaki)

Zoro spun in place. A whirlwind of sword energy erupted, blocking the incoming air blades while shredding the entire room to pieces.

Kaku crossed blades with Zoro.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The sound of steel clashing rang nonstop.

Thanks to Observation Haki, Zoro could perfectly parry Kaku's endless twin-blade attacks even with his eyes closed.

But Kaku couldn't keep up. Even though Zoro was only warming up, he was already in constant danger.

A red glint flashed in Zoro's eyes.

A faint blue light gathered on his blade—then slashed.

A line of blood appeared.

"Ugh!" Kaku groaned in pain. He kicked out, sending an air blade flying at Zoro. Zoro stepped back two paces as the blade pierced through the wall and shot outside.

Seizing the mont, Kaku began transforming again.

His body twisted and bent like a transforming machine until he beca a box-shaped giraffe.

"Tempest Kick — Shigure!"

Using both hands and feet, Kaku unleashed a frenzy of slashes. Sword energy shot upward like rain clouds before pouring down like a storm.

"Interesting."

Facing the torrent of falling blades, Zoro didn't even attempt to defend himself. He simply stood there as the slashes cut across his skin, drawing thin streaks of blood.

When the rain of blades ended, Zoro remained unmoving.

Suddenly—

A black shadow flashed.

The wolf Jabra clasped his hands together and unleashed a secret Rokushiki technique.

"Six King Gun!"

BOOM!

A massive air shockwave blasted Zoro away, smashing through the wall as the room began collapsing.

"Hahahaha! Finally finished him!"

Jabra grinned triumphantly.

"This… is your full power?"

Zoro placed Wado Ichimonji in his mouth.

"It barely tickles."

"Prepare yourselves."

Kaku and Jabra exchanged another look.

"Tempest Kick — Amane Dachi!"

"Tempest Kick — Wolf Pack!"

One was a circular slash capable of cutting steel.

The other manifested as a pack of wolf-shaped blades.

Zoro didn't even glance at them.

Crossing his swords—

"Demon Aura… Nine-Sword Style… Asura… Ichibugin!"

In an instant he seed to beco a three-headed, six-ard demon.

With a casual swing, the incoming slashes dissolved into mist.

Then he flashed forward—

Nine blades struck at once.

Kaku and Jabra collapsed simultaneously.

"To endure endless suffering without hatred… that is the path of Asura."

Zoro sheathed his swords and looked at the blood-soaked Kaku.

"Looks like you've been fired."

"Is that so…? Too bad. Assassins can't change careers…"

Kaku lost consciousness.

Result:

Zoro vs. Kaku & Jabra — one dead, one defeated.

Elsewhere

Holding her improved Clima-Tact, Nami chased into another room.

Inside, a woman with long golden hair sat on a sofa.

Seeing Nami enter, she sighed in relief.

"I was worried that blond man would burst into my room instead."

Kalifa rested her chin on her hand, watching Nami with amusent.

As long as it wasn't that green-haired swordsman, she felt completely confident.

"You're a Devil Fruit user, right?"

Nami glanced around at the bubbles floating throughout the room.

"That's right. I ate the Bubble-Bubble Fruit. If my bubbles touch you, your body will lose strength and beco slippery."

Kalifa waved her hand, releasing dozens of bubbles toward Nami.

Unfortunately—

With a swing of the Clima-Tact, a violent gust swept through the room, blowing all the bubbles outside.

"Tempest Kick!"

Kalifa launched a flying slash that struck Nami directly.

But Nami dissolved into mist.

"This is my new technique—Mirage Tempo!"

Kalifa looked around.

A dozen identical Namis surrounded her.

Yellow lightning gathered at the tip of the Clima-Tact.

They swung at once.

"Soru!"

Kalifa vanished with incredible speed, kicking through one of the illusions.

"Tempest Kick!"

But the odds were only one in several.

She missed.

The next mont—

All the Namis released lightning simultaneously.

Only one carried real power, but the entire room filled with electricity.

There was no way to dodge.

BZZZT!

Kalifa's body turned pitch black as smoke rose from her mouth.

Yet even then, her superhuman body kept her standing.

She launched a bubble that struck Nami.

Kalifa smiled in delight.

"Soru!"

She rushed forward—

But Nami didn't lose her strength as expected.

Dense yellow lightning wrapped around the Clima-Tact.

Nami swung.

BZZZT!

Kalifa was electrocuted again and collapsed.

"How… is that possible…?"

Her head tilted to the side as she lost consciousness.

"Haki can negate the negative effects of Devil Fruits."

Nami's bright eyes glead with mischief.

Nami vs. Kalifa — Nami wins.

Another Corridor

Chopper encountered the big-mouthed Fukurou.

"So my opponent is just a raccoon dog? Chapapa!"

"Idiot! I'm a reindeer!"

Chopper instantly transford into Heavy Point, smashing a powerful punch into Fukurou's round head and drawing blood.

"Damn it! Now you've really made mad!"

Fukurou clenched his fists.

"I'll show you my Murder Fist—a heavyweight punch with the speed of Finger Pistol!"

His fists shot toward Chopper at incredible speed.

"Guard Point!"

Chopper turned into a fluffy ball.

Fukurou's barrage of punches felt like striking cotton.

"Chapapa—Soru!"

Seeing his attacks fail, Fukurou dashed rapidly through the corridor.

"Brain Point!"

Chopper ford a fra with his hooves over one eye. With the aid of Observation Haki, Fukurou's movents suddenly slowed dramatically.

"Arm Point!"

Chopper's biceps bulged. Armant Haki coated his hooves.

He crossed them.

"Scope… Cross!"

BANG!

A small cross-shaped strike slamd into Fukurou's chest.

Fukurou instantly collapsed unconscious.

Another Room

Guided by Observation Haki, Robin entered a room.

But no one was there.

She wasn't surprised. Instead she looked at a shaking refrigerator.

"Burp!"

A man with extrely long pink hair stepped out of the fridge.

He had a fat body and held a staff—clearly having eaten too much.

"So you're my opponent? Please wait a mont!"

The man—Kumadori the Lion—gripped his staff and shouted:

"Life Return — Digestion!"

His swollen body rapidly shrank back to a normal physique.

"What…?" Robin looked surprised.

"How did you do that?"

"For a thousand years beneath the sea, a thousand years in the mountains! Absorbing the spirit of the wind, drinking the essence of dew, training like a hermit sage—thus mastering Life Return!"

Kumadori proudly explained.

"With consciousness, one can control everything—from hair to internal organs to every strand of body hair!"

"How exaggerated."

Robin crossed her arms.

"Eleven Fleur — Slam!"

Eleven arms sprouted from Kumadori's body.

CRACK!

They twisted him into a distorted shape and smashed him into the wall.

"Hair Binding!"

Kumadori's long hair extended suddenly, shooting toward Robin.

Robin stepped lightly aside, dodging gracefully.

"Soru!"

Kumadori appeared above her head and stabbed downward with his staff.

"Finger Pistol!"

The iron staff slamd into the floor, creating a crater.

Robin was blasted into the air.

She crossed her arms.

"Cien Fleur — Wing!"

Countless arms sprouted from her back, forming a pair of magnificent wings that allowed her to hover gracefully before descending.

"That's enough. Let's finish this quickly."

"Thirty Fleur — Clutch!"

Thirty arms erupted from Kumadori's body, grabbing his neck, arms, and legs.

Then—

They twisted.

CRACK!

"AAAH!!"

His neck, arms, and legs snapped simultaneously.

Kumadori went completely lifeless.
