Luffy and Nami stopped walking and looked up at the magnificent shopping complex before them.
The building glittered with gold and luxury. It was obvious that everything sold inside was extrely expensive.
"Are we really going in?" Luffy asked teasingly. "Aren't you afraid all your money will disappear?"
Nami tightened her grip around Luffy's arm and showed her delicate tiger teeth in a confident grin.
"What are you talking about? We have tens of billions of Berries. I could spend forever and still not run out!"
"And besides," she added with a playful smile, "we're pirates. If I ever run out of money, you'll just help steal more, right?"
She gently shook Luffy's arm and looked at him pitifully.
"Alright, alright," Luffy said helplessly. He had no way of resisting her.
The two stepped into the luxury shop.
"Welco!" A beautiful shop attendant greeted them with a professional smile.
But inwardly she was shocked.
It had been a long ti since she had seen such a beautiful woman. As for the man beside her—though his clothes were simple, he was undeniably handso.
"We'll just browse on our own," Nami said with a sweet smile.
"Of course. However…" the attendant hesitated slightly.
"The clothes in this store must be purchased if tried on. After all, our clientele are mainly nobles…"

Luffy hurriedly pushed her away, his face turning bright red.

Nami's delicate face was so red it looked like it might drip.
Her pale fingers rested on the buttons of her shirt.
"I decided to buy clothes because of you in the first place… so of course I want to see what you like."

Then she calmly changed into the outfit.

Nami stared at him blankly for a mont.
Then she wrapped her arms around his neck, stood on her toes, and offered her lips.

Luffy pressed Nami against the wall and kissed her deeply, savoring the sweetness of her lips.
Nami shyly tried to respond.
After a long mont—
"Ha…"
A thin strand of saliva connected their lips as they separated.
Nami lay dizzily in Luffy's arms.
"Luffy… I love you."
Her bright eyes shone with affection.
"I don't know when it started… but I fell hopelessly in love with you."
"Maybe it was when you defeated Arlong."
"Or when you were willing to throw away your pride to save ."
"Or when I beca a pirate… and you protected ."
Tears glimred in Nami's eyes.
"I know," Luffy said with a gentle smile.
He sat down cross-legged and pulled Nami into his arms, gently stroking her soft orange hair.
"I really like you too, Nami."
Nami raised her head slightly.
The two hugged each other tightly.

In another part of town—
A muscular man wearing a collar around his neck ran wildly through the street.
He held a young girl by the throat, his face filled with terror.
"Help remove it! Please! Soone help take this collar off!"
"I won't hurt you—I just want to go ho!"
But the surrounding crowd only stepped back in fear, unwilling to get involved.
At that mont, Usopp, Chopper, Brook, Hatchan, and Pappag arrived riding Bubble Bikes.
"Please!" the man begged desperately.
"Anyone—destroy this collar! I swear I won't hurt you!"
But no one approached.
Not only did they have no solution, but the man was still holding a young girl hostage.
His words carried no trust.
Tears stread down the girl's face.
"Please… let go… I don't want to die!"
The atmosphere froze.
The man trembled as he looked at the girl in his hands.
Finally—
He threw her aside.
"I've already given up on going to the New World!"
"I have a wife and a child! Please… I just want to go ho!"
"When I left, my baby had just been born! My child doesn't even know what his father looks like!"
"Please…!"
Suddenly—
The bubble bike screeched to a halt.
Chopper jumped off.
"What's going on? Why is everyone shouting?"
"I'm not sure," Usopp said.
"But that collar feels familiar… probably high-grade explosives."
His Observation Haki quietly spread across the area, capturing every detail.
Hatchan looked grim.
"Don't get involved."
"He was probably captured by slave traders and sold. After being brought to this island, he tried to escape."
"But he should know… escape is impossible."
Just then—

Like a countdown.
Then—
BOOM!
Before everyone's horrified eyes, the collar exploded.
The man's body was burned black.
"I just wanted to buy a gift for my family…"
"I don't want to be a pirate anymore…"
He collapsed on the ground—lifeless.
Chopper shook his head.
"He's gone… there's no saving him."
Soon, a dog wearing a helt slowly walked toward the corpse.
Everyone widened their eyes.
Without hesitation, the crowd split to both sides of the road and knelt down.
Hatchan also dropped to his knees imdiately.
"You should kneel too!"
"Huh?"
Though confused, the Straw Hats crouched down.
The dog casually urinated on the corpse.
Two people wearing glass bubble helts walked forward while leading a giant man several ters tall.
They strolled across the street like they were walking on a red carpet.
The woman wearing the helt pulled out a golden flintlock pistol and fired several shots at the corpse.
"Another one died. Father, let's buy another slave," she said arrogantly.
"You really don't know how to train people," the man replied.
"You keep ruining my collection of pirate captains."
Anyone watching could clearly see the utter contempt they had for human life.
"Next ti I want a giant slave."
"You should raise a human child from young."
"No. They're too weak."
These people could hardly even be called human.
They swaggered away while the citizens bowed submissively.
Soon, the Marines arrived.
But they only ca to collect the body.
After all—it was just a pirate.
In their eyes, that was a good outco.
Later, the Straw Hats sat atop a huge vine.
Brook calmly sipped tea.
"What exactly is going on here?" Usopp asked.
"Why is slave trading allowed right under the Marines' noses?"
"And who were those two people?"
Pappag crossed his arms.
"They're called Celestial Dragons."
"They claim to possess the blood of the creators of the world."
"Over centuries, their power kept expanding… until it beca what you saw today."
"If a Celestial Dragon gets hurt," Hatchan added,
"A Marine Admiral will imdiately arrive with a fleet."
"An Admiral?" Usopp gulped.
"Like Aokiji?"
Usopp and Chopper both recalled their terrible encounter.
"That kind of monster… only Luffy could fight soone like that!"
"Straw Hat boy," Pappag said bluntly.
"With all due respect—he can't defeat a Marine Admiral."
"They are the strongest combat forces of the World Governnt."
Usopp thought carefully before making his decision.
"Anyway… we should absolutely avoid provoking those Celestial Dragons."
"The price is far too high."
If Usopp knew that Luffy was already planning to punch a Celestial Dragon, his reaction would definitely be priceless.
