On the way to the Sabaody Archipelago, everyone had gathered aboard Hatchan's boat.
Smoke drifted through the air, carrying an irresistibly delicious aroma.
"Ah! This is amazing!" Luffy's hands moved so fast they left afterimages. "I can't stop eating—this takoyaki is way too good!"
"It really is delicious. How do you make it?" Sanji asked humbly, eager to learn.
"This is my first ti eating takoyaki!" Brook said excitedly as he stuffed several into his mouth.
Hatchan's six arms moved rapidly as plate after plate of takoyaki was placed on the table.
"Um… Nami, how do you like it?" Hatchan asked nervously, his voice lacking confidence.
"Yeah, it's really good!" Nami smiled.
She could finally face the past.
"Phew! That's great!" Hatchan imdiately perked up and sped up his cooking even more.
In the end, the battle between diners and chef ended in the chef's defeat.
After all… one of the diners was basically a bottomless pit.
Everyone lay on the deck with round, stuffed bellies.
But because Luffy had mastered Life Return, he quickly digested the food…
Which left Chopper and Usopp as the only ones awkwardly stuffed and unable to move.
Even Hatchan lay exhausted on the deck. After working the hardest, he was completely drained.
Soon after, everyone gathered back aboard the Thousand Sunny.
"So basically," Franky summarized, "we need to go to the Sabaody Archipelago and find a coating chanic before we can travel to Fish-Man Island, right?"
The three fish-n nodded at the sa ti.
At that mont, Luffy suddenly leaned his head over.
"See? This is all because Franky didn't build a submarine function into the ship. That's why we have to stop at Sabaody!"
"Tch! That's because there wasn't enough ti!" Franky puffed out his chest proudly.
"Give half a month—no, one week—and I could install a full underwater system on this ship!"
"Um… I heard going to the deep sea is really dangerous," Usopp said nervously.
"How about… we just climb over the Red Line instead?"
"What?!" Sanji imdiately leaned forward.
"Hahahaha! Full speed to the Sabaody Archipelago!" Luffy shouted.
Not long after, the Thousand Sunny finally arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago.
Dozens of massive Yarukiman Mangrove Trees towered into the sky. Their exposed roots twisted across the ground while bubbles rose endlessly from the earth and floated through the air.
The entire place felt like a fantasy world.
"Whoa!"
Everyone was stunned by the scenery.
Even Luffy—who had been here once before—was amazed.
After all, last ti he hadn't co here to have fun.
But this ti…
He could finally enjoy it!
Everyone on the ship looked eager to explore.
"Alright, alright!" Nami clapped her hands. "I'll give everyone spending money. One million Berries each!"
Instantly, everyone's attention locked onto her.
"One million Berries?!"
They were completely shocked.
In the past they had only received 100,000 Berries.
Even though the crew was richer now, the fact that Nami—of all people—was handing out that much money could only an one thing.
She was in an exceptionally good mood.
Usopp grabbed Luffy and burst into tears.
"Luffy! Thank you so much! You're a hero—a great hero who saved us from suffering!"
"Huh?"
A question mark appeared above Luffy's head.
Sanji glared.
Robin smiled quietly.
Nami blushed.
Everyone had a different reaction.
Soon, the Straw Hat Pirates walked through Sabaody with the confidence of people carrying massive fortunes.
"Nami! Why didn't I get any money?" Luffy asked, confused. "Are you really withholding even the captain's share?"
Nami rolled her eyes beautifully and hugged his left arm.
"I want to go shopping. You're coming with !"
"Huh?"
Luffy scratched his head with his right hand.
"Man, that's troubleso. I wanted to go to the amusent park."
"Just wait until I finish buying clothes. Then we'll go together!"
"Okay!"
Luffy's eyes lit up again.
"That's Sabaody Park!"
Camie stared at it with sparkling eyes.
"I want to go play there too…"
"Then why don't you?" Chopper asked curiously.
"Don't say stupid things, Camie!" Pappag scolded seriously.
"Don't worry, Camie!"
Suddenly, Luffy appeared beside them—well, just his body. His left arm was still being held tightly by Nami.
"If you want to go play, Sanji can protect you. He's a knight who protects princesses! Right, Sanji?"
The mont the words fell, Sanji rushed forward with heart-shaped eyes.
He gently took Camie's hand and knelt on one knee.
"Don't worry, Miss Camie. I will protect you at all tis!"
After a mont of silence, Pappag reluctantly agreed.
Luffy's body snapped back like rubber.
"Alright! Let's go buy food!"
Nami's mouth twitched.
"We're buying clothes, not food!"
She dragged Luffy toward the shopping district.
"Wait!"
Hatchan suddenly shouted.
"Before you enter the town… I need you to promise sothing."
Everyone's expressions changed.
They looked at Hatchan in confusion and silence.
"Once you enter the town, you'll see many World Nobles."
"You must promise —no matter what happens—do not cause trouble with them."
Ding.
Mission Issued: The Fall of the Celestial Dragons
This is a Star-Ranked Bounty Mission.
Three Celestial Dragons are currently present in the Sabaody Archipelago.
Knock one flying Knock three flying Kill one Kill three
Reward: Unknown
(Hint: Higher stars yield richer rewards.)
System… you're really stirring up trouble.
Luffy fell into deep thought.
Killing and beating soone up were completely different matters.
If he just punched one…
Admiral Kizaru would probably show up.
Forget it.
If he was going to punch one, he might as well punch all three.
"Right, take these with you."
Luffy pulled out a pile of small Den Den Mushi.
They were system-produced—Den Den Mushi that could be generated infinitely.
Soon, everyone had a Den Den Mushi attached to their wrist.
"Contact if anything happens."
Luffy waved goodbye before Nami dragged him away toward the shopping street.
As for Camie, Luffy wasn't worried at all.
Before Kizaru arrived on the island, there was no one capable of taking soone away from Sanji.
Everyone split up to do their own things.
Before leaving, Zoro glanced at the number on the mangrove tree.
Area 1.
Zoro snorted.
"Who would get lost? Just rember the number!"
He confidently walked toward the town.
Behind him…
A bubble that had been blocking the number floated away.
The number was fully revealed—
41.
Nami happily dragged Luffy through the shopping streets.
Her hair was elegantly tied up, delicate earrings dangling from her ears. Her red lips and sharp nose gave her a charming appearance.
Combined with a silky top and a lightly pleated white skirt, she looked elegant while perfectly showing off her stunning figure.
Clearly, she had carefully dressed up.
anwhile, Luffy wore only his straw hat, a blue vest, and simple sandals.
The definition of simplicity.
Despite wearing no makeup, Nami's fair, beautiful face and incredible figure instantly drew the attention of nearly everyone around.
Countless n stared at her in fascination.
But Nami's eyes were fixed entirely on Luffy.
She looked at her beloved with anticipation.
Then—
"Boss! Give so of this! And that! And that too!"
Luffy dragged Nami to a small stall selling Grand Line buns and Grand Line chocolate.
"Hello, that'll be 500 Berries," the vendor said after packing everything.
"Okay!"
Luffy happily took the food.
"Sigh…"
Nami had no choice but to pull out a colorful banknote and place it on the stall.
Around them, jealous whispers spread.
"So he's a pretty boy being kept by a rich woman…"
"Why him? Is it just because he's a little more handso than ?!"
"I want to experience being supported by a beautiful rich woman too!"
Jealous tears filled their eyes.
Further away, a group of bounty hunters hid in the shadows.
"Did you see clearly?" Hunter A asked in disbelief.
"I saw it clearly. It's definitely him," Hunter B said seriously while comparing a wanted poster.
"He's the strongest Super Rookie with a bounty of 1 billion Berries!"
"One billion… If we catch him, we'll never have to risk our lives again," Hunter C said greedily.
BAM!
A huge fist smashed into his head.
Their tall leader stepped forward.
"Idiot! Do you know who that is? Do you think Marine Headquarters are fools?"
"A man worth one billion Berries isn't soone you can capture casually!"
"Among the 15 Super Rookies, the Straw Hat Pirates alone have five mbers. Do you think they're weak?"
The leader was furious.
"If that idiot actually attacked him, we'd all die."
"Rember this—our Wild Dragon Hunter Crew must never provoke the Super Rookies. Not even a single crewmate. Understood?"
"Understood!"
anwhile…
Luffy continued eating while Nami clung to his arm, slightly unhappy.
"Hey, Luffy… you're not treating like your wallet, are you?"
She stared straight at him with bright eyes, pouting cutely.
"Hm?"
Luffy stuffed a pile of chocolate into her mouth and gently stroked her hair.
"Of course not."
Nami's face instantly turned shy.
Her beautiful face flushed as she hugged his arm even tighter.
The sweetness of the chocolate lted in her heart.
The two slowly walked forward.
Soon—
They arrived at a clothing store.
