The teams stood on the grassy deck of the Thousand Sunny. They had their assignnts. Now they needed transport.
Ben walked to the starboard railing. He raised his hand. The space above the ocean water rippled, tearing open a dinsional rift. A ship fell from the void and splashed heavily into the sea.
"This will be your transport to Green Bit," Ben said, turning to Law and the infiltration group. "The rest of us will take the Sunny to the main port of Dressrosa. rry will pilot the cha rry remotely from here."
rry, gave a sharp salute. "Leave it to ! I can control the helm, the sails, and the weapons through my wireless network!"
The teams finalized their split. Law, Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Vivi, Caroo, and the four Elbaf giants—Dorry, Brogy, Oimo, and Kashi—jumped down onto the deck of the cha rry. The giants easily fit onto the ship due to their currently shrunken, human-sized forms.
Ben, Robin, Bonney, Nami, Sanji, Franky, Brook, Kin'emon, Momonosuke, Chopper, and the two androids remained on the Thousand Sunny.
"We will et you after the factory falls," Ben called out.
"Don't die," Zoro smirked, waving a hand.
The two ships parted ways. The Thousand Sunny sailed toward the bustling port of Dressrosa, while the Going rry turned north, heading toward the isolated island of Green Bit.
The Voyage to Green Bit
The Going rry sailed smoothly across the water. The sails caught the wind automatically. The steering wheel turned on its own, guided by rry's remote signals.
Law leaned against the main mast. He watched the ocean, ntally preparing for the confrontation with Doflamingo and Admiral Fujitora. He needed quiet. He needed focus.
Instead, he got Luffy, Usopp, and Caroo.
The trio stood near the bow. Usopp had tied a spare green bandana around Caroo's feathered head. He handed the giant yellow duck three long wooden mops. Caroo placed one mop in his beak and held the other two under his wings.
"Alright, Caroo, let's practice your impression," Usopp whispered loudly.
Caroo nodded. The duck closed his eyes, let out a loud snore, and imdiately began walking in the wrong direction, bumping straight into the wooden railing.
Luffy burst into hysterical laughter, rolling on the deck and clutching his stomach. "It's perfect! He's just like Zoro!"
Usopp puffed out his chest. "Now for the dialogue! Say the line, Caroo!"
Caroo turned his head. "Quack! Quack quack! (I'm not lost, the island moved!)"
Luffy pounded the floorboards, wheezing for air.
Law felt a familiar headache building behind his eyes. He rubbed his temples. "Could you three idiots keep it down? We are sailing into a warzone."
"Lighten up, Traffy," Luffy grinned, sitting up. "We have to relax before a fight!"
Nearby, the four Elbaf giants sat in a circle, passing a barrel of ale between them. Dorry let out a booming laugh. "Gegyagyagya! The duck captures the swordsman's spirit perfectly!"
"He has the stance down," Brogy agreed, wiping his beard.
Zoro was sleeping against the cabin wall. His right eye twitched. He opened his eye, staring at the duck holding three mops. He slowly stood up, drawing no swords, but radiating pure nace.
Usopp froze. He slowly pointed at Luffy. "It was his idea."
Zoro cracked his knuckles. He disappeared in a blur of motion.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Three sharp impacts echoed across the deck.
A mont later, Luffy, Usopp, and Caroo were sitting in a neat, perfectly straight line on the deck. Each of them sported a massive, smoking, multi-tiered bump on the top of their heads.
Zoro stood over them, his arms crossed. "Stay quiet now. Otherwise, you will get another coating."
Luffy, Usopp, and Caroo bowed their heads in unison. "Hai, hai," they chanted ekly.
The giants roared with laughter. Law sighed, pulling his spotted hat down over his eyes.
The Iron Bridge and the Fighting Fish
The cha rry cut through the waves, rounding a series of jagged coral reefs. In the distance, an enormous, rusted iron bridge connected the northern coast of Dressrosa directly to the dense jungles of Green Bit.
"There is the crossing," Law said, unfolding his map. He pointed toward the water surrounding the bridge. "We cannot sail directly to the island. We must dock here and cross the iron bridge on foot."
"Why?" Zoro asked, leaning on the railing.
"Look at the water," Law instructed.
The ocean surrounding Green Bit boiled and churned. Massive fins sliced through the waves.
"That territory is a nesting ground for Fighting Fish," Law explained. "They are giant, highly aggressive sea monsters. They possess horns that can pierce steel hulls. They sink any ship that attempts to cross. The bridge is the only safe route."
Luffy stood up, the bump on his head already healing. He crossed his arms and looked at the churning water. He shook his head.
"No," Luffy said simply.
Law stared at him. "What do you an, no?"
"Walking takes too long," Luffy grinned. "We have a super ship. rry! Can you hear ?!"
A small speaker mounted on the main mast crackled to life. rry's voice chid through the audio feed. "Loud and clear, Captain!"
"Don't stop the ship!" Luffy ordered, pointing straight ahead. "Take us all the way to the beach! Don't let the fish stop us!"
"Roger that!" rry cheered.
Law grabbed Luffy's shoulder. "Are you insane?! Those fish travel in schools of dozens! They will tear this ship to splinters!"
"Just watch," Luffy laughed.
The cha rry did not slow down. It bypassed the iron bridge entirely and sailed directly into the boiling, dangerous waters of the nesting ground.
The intrusion was noticed imdiately. The water erupted in a geyser of white foam. A Fighting Fish the size of a Marine galleon breached the surface. Thick scales layered its body like tank armor, and two jagged horns jutted from its skull. It roared, displaying rows of serrated teeth, and plumted directly toward the port side of the ship.
"Incoming!" Usopp scread, pulling his slingshot tight.
"Target locked," rry's voice announced over the speakers.
The cha rry shifted. The jaw of the wooden sheep figurehead unhinged with a heavy chanical clank. A deep hum vibrated through the floorboards. Particles of blue light gathered inside the figurehead's throat, sparking with electrical charge.
ZHOOOM!
A concentrated, high-yield energy beam fired from the bow. It carved a glowing trench through the air and struck the plunging monster dead center. The beast evaporated in a blinding flash of heat. The bisected halves of the fish crashed into the waves, instantly cooked.
Luffy's eyes turned into sparkling stars. "BEAAAAAAM!"
"Warning. Swarm detected approaching from below," rry stated calmly.
The ocean surrounding the hull turned pitch black. Dozens of massive shadows darted upward from the abyss, aiming to ram the keel.
"They're coming from underneath!" Kashi shouted, hefting his axe.
"Initiating aquatic defense protocols."
The wooden hull panels slid open seamlessly. Rows of automated, cylindrical missile pods extended outward.
FWOOSH! FWOOSH! FWOOSH!
Sleek, blue-tipped torpedoes dropped into the churning sea. They ignited underwater. Trails of white bubbles traced their paths as they locked onto the thermal signatures of the swarm.
Seconds later, the ocean illuminated with a chain of blinding underwater detonations. Shockwaves rocked the surface. Columns of water erupted around the ship like a naval minefield going off. Dead, roasted Fighting Fish floated to the surface, their scales shattered.
The surviving monsters grew enraged. Five of them breached the surface simultaneously. They eclipsed the sun, surrounding the ship in the air, aiming to crush the tiny vessel under thousands of tons of combined weight.
"Aerial targets acquired," rry announced.
Two hidden compartnts snapped open near the rear mast. Twin rotary laser cannons rose from the deck, spinning up with a high-pitched whine. The targeting sensors flashed red.
The cannons tracked the airborne leviathans with flawless precision. They unleashed a continuous, blinding barrage of rapid-fire energy bolts. The sequence mirrored a high-tech anti-aircraft dogfight. The blue bolts painted the sky, piercing the thick scales of the beasts with surgical ease. The monsters roared in agony, their bodies riddled with smoking craters, before plumting back into the sea in a series of deafening splashes.
Zoro smirked, keeping his hand off his swords. "Not bad."
Law stood completely frozen. He watched the innocent-looking pirate ship annihilate an entire school of legendary sea monsters in less than sixty seconds. He looked at the smoking laser cannons, then at Luffy, who was currently cheering and mimicking the laser sounds.
"What kind of ship is this?" Law muttered.
"It's the cha rry!" Usopp cheered, striking a pose next to Caroo.
Arrival at Green Bit
The automated weapons retracted. The wooden panels sealed shut, hiding the advanced technology. The cha rry sailed calmly through the remaining stretch of water, riding over the gentle waves.
The ship slid onto the sandy shoreline of Green Bit. The anchor dropped automatically.
The island before them was dense and wild. Towering jungle plants, ferns the size of buildings, and thick-trunked trees created a dark shadowed canopy overhead.
Luffy stood on the railing. He looked back at the ocean. The water behind them was littered with the floating, cooked corpses of the Fighting Fish. Steam rose from their bodies.
Luffy licked his lips. He turned to Vivi. "Hey, Vivi. Those fish look really good. Can we catch them and have a quick banquet before we fight?"
Vivi smiled, adjusting the collar of her coat. She jumped down onto the sand. "Maybe on the way back, Luffy. Right now, we have a schedule to keep. We need to deal with the Marines and find the Tontatta tribe."
Luffy pouted, his stomach growling. "Fine. But I'm calling dibs on the big one with the horns."
Law stepped onto the beach, drawing Kikoku. He checked his pocket watch. It was nearing three o'clock.
"We move now," Law said. "Stay sharp. The enemies will not hold back."
Luffy cracked his knuckles, stepping into the jungle. The cody faded. The battle for the New World was about to begin.
The group finally touched down on the overgrown, wild terrain of Green Bit. The sheer scale of the vegetation was staggering—blades of grass as thick as tree trunks and mushrooms towering like skyscrapers cast deep, ancient shadows over the jungle floor.
Law imdiately drew Kikoku, his eyes scanning the dense, oversized foliage. "Stay alert," he warned the group, his gaze sharp and analytical as he checked the imdiate periter. "This island has been untouched by normal civilization for a long ti, but that doesn't an it's uninhabited. We need to secure the landing zone."
As Law and Luffy's group began to check the surrounding area, Vivi walked up to the captain, Usopp close behind her. Her expression was serious.
"Luffy," Vivi began, her voice steady. "Usopp and I are going to search for the Tontatta tribe—a race of dwarves—who live deep within this forest. We're going to find them and help evacuate them before things get worse."
Luffy stopped admiring a massive fern and looked at her, flashing a wide, trusting grin. "Shishishi! Sounds like a plan. Go get 'em, you two! We'll handle things on this end."
Vivi nodded, a determined light in her eyes. Taking a step back, she called upon the power of her Mythical Zoan fruit. With a soft, radiant burst of energy, magnificent Simurgh wings erupted from her back—a breathtaking tapestry of vibrant azure, gold, and crimson feathers that shimred in the dappled sunlight.
Beside her, Usopp grinned confidently. He rolled his shoulders, and with a swift motion, a pair of sleek, aerodynamic falcon wings extended from his own back, their brown and white feathers ruffling as he tested the air currents.
With a powerful downstroke, Vivi took to the air, Usopp launching imdiately after her. They soared up into the massive canopy, weaving effortlessly through the colossal branches and giant vines of Green Bit.
"Alright," Usopp called out over the rushing wind, reaching into the small spatial pouch secured at his waist. "We have a lot of ground to cover, and those guys are tiny. Ti for so extra eyes."
He pulled out a handful of small, tallic spheres. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed them out into the air. The spheres snapped open instantly, tiny rotors whirring to life as the flying drones fanned out, disappearing into the thick undergrowth to scout the area ahead of them.
Next, Usopp lifted his wrist, bringing his kimiyo beads close to his mouth. "rry, do you copy?"
A warm, familiar voice crackled through the beads. "Loud and clear, Uncle Usopp. What do you need?"
"We're looking for the Tontatta tribe," Usopp instructed, his falcon eyes scanning the giant forest floor below. "Run a wide-area thermal scan of Green Bit. Filter for extrely small, clustered heat signatures. They might be underground or hidden inside the giant plants."
"Understood," rry replied cheerfully. "Initiating thermal scan now. I will alert you the mont I detect any anomalies matching that profile."
"Thanks, rry," Usopp said, banking sharply to avoid a massive, hanging flower.
Together, the Simurgh and the Falcon dove deeper into the verdant labyrinth of Green Bit, their drones sweeping the jungle while rry's scans pierced the dense foliage. The hunt for the Tontatta tribe had officially begun.
