anwhile, far away in the [Eternal Domain]...

Ding!

["Celestial" has defeated your vision in the "Myriad Arena"]

"Huh?"

WyvernKing was deep within a massive cavern, its walls glowing faintly from veins of mana-rich crystal embedded inside the stone.

The place was suffocating with heat and pressure, the kind that would crush ordinary players in seconds.

Five wyverns lay scattered around him, each one massive, their scales dark and polished like obsidian.

They were feeding, tearing apart chunks of at infused with mana while absorbing the residual energy.

WyvernKing himself stood near the center, his eyes closed, aura slowly circulating around his body as he refined it.

The notification shattered that calm. He opened his eyes.

"This is..."

His brows knit together as he stared at the system ssage hovering in front of him.

The [Myriad Arena] was sothing he knew well. Not because he had been there recently, but because he hadn’t.

That place belonged to the [Lower Domains]. And yet, for years now, he had never once received a ssage like this. Never.

The reason was simple: the visions inside the [Myriad Arena] had reached a point where they were practically unbeatable.

Over ti, only the strongest players were added as visions, and those beaten were filtered out naturally.

Eventually, the remaining visions beca walls no one could cross.

That was why the tenth match was considered impossible for most.

And yet...

"My vision... lost?"

WyvernKing’s gaze hardened.

He knew his own strength better than anyone. Even when scaled down, even when copied imperfectly, his vision was still overwhelming by [Lower Domain] standards.

At level 36, his combat power had surpassed 128,000 back then. Even now, that was an absurd number.

What kind of monster could beat that?

"Celestial..." he muttered softly. The na lingered in his mind.1

"I’ll rember it," WyvernKing said, his voice calm but heavy with intent. "Because I’m sure I’ll be seeing you in the [Eternal Domain] very soon."

He picked up a large chunk of at, still dripping with blood, and hurled it toward one of the wyverns.

The creature snapped it out of the air and swallowed it whole, its throat glowing briefly as it absorbed the energy.

WyvernKing’s aura flared for a mont before settling again.

Whoever that Celestial was, this wasn’t the end. Not even close.

...

Back in the [Lower Domain], Leon stood quietly as the [Affinity Skill Book (Mythical)] rested inside his [Storage Space].

He didn’t hesitate. The mont the reward panel faded, he summoned the book into his hands.

It was heavier than it looked, its cover made of an unfamiliar material that felt warm to the touch.

Strange golden lines ran across its surface, shifting slowly, almost like they were alive.

Leon inspected the description again.

[Affinity Skill Book (Mythical): Pour your mana into this book and the "Heavenly One" shall grant you a grand ability it believes will suit you.]

He exhaled slowly. This item had a reputation.

Every player who managed to obtain one in the past gained an absurdly powerful ability, sothing that shaped their entire build moving forward.

But those players were from long ago. As ti passed, fewer and fewer people managed to clear the [Myriad Arena].

The visions only grew stronger, and eventually, even players with over 100,000 Combat Power couldn’t get past the tenth match.

Leon knew that beating WyvernKing ant sothing else as well.

The real WyvernKing would have received a notification. Even in the [Eternal Domain].

That alone was enough to make Leon smirk faintly. Still, he didn’t linger on it. Instead, his attention shifted elsewhere.

He opened his interface and checked Emilia’s status.

’She just entered her tenth match,’ Leon noted. ’So she probably watched mine.’

With a thought, he tuned into her battle feed.

Fwoosh! Ding!

[Opponent: ElentalDemon]

The scene shifted. Emilia stood calmly in the center of the [Myriad Arena], her posture relaxed, her expression composed.

Opposite her was a towering figure nearly two ters tall, its crimson skin etched with glowing elental patterns.

Raw elental energy surged around the demon’s body, warping the air.

---

[ID: ElentalDemon]

[Level: 42]

[Talent: ???]

[Skills: ???]

[Combat Power: 123,000]

---

Leon’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Stronger than most. Weaker than WyvernKing.

But that didn’t matter.

The mont the match started, the [ElentalDemon] roared and unleashed the power of multiple elents at once, its aura spiking sharply as it reinforced its body.

It didn’t even get to take a step forward.

DIVINE BEAM!

Emilia raised her hand, her expression unchanged. Light gathered instantly, condensing into a massive beam that tore through the arena like judgnt itself.

There was nowhere to dodge. No ti to react.

The beam engulfed the [ElentalDemon] completely. Silence followed.

Then—

Ding!

[Saintess has won her tenth match.]

The arena exploded into noise.

"DAMN!"

"What the hell was that?!"

"That thing didn’t even survive a second!"

Even the spectators who had watched Leon’s fight were stunned. The [ElentalDemon] was one of the strongest remaining visions in the arena, and it had been erased instantly.

Leon couldn’t help but grin.

’She would’ve had a harder ti against [WyvernKing],’ he admitted internally, ’but this was still a good opponent.’

Still, even WyvernKing would struggle to deal real damage to Emilia.

With her current constitution, there were almost no players in the [Lower Domain] who could harm her aningfully. And if a fight dragged on, all it took was one spell landing cleanly.

Leon shook his head slightly. Emilia wasn’t just strong. She was terrifying.

If she continued growing at this pace, she’d dominate most players, even those from eternal-level worlds.

And that ant only one thing: her vision would be added to the [Myriad Arena].

Leon almost felt bad for future challengers.

His own vision was already absurd. Adding Emilia’s on top of that ant the tenth match had crossed from "unfair" into outright impossible if they landed on them.

Even a thousand years from now, Leon doubted anyone would be strong enough to defeat any of them.

With that thought, he closed the feed and willed himself out of the arena.

Ding!

[You have managed to complete the "Myriad Arena’s" challenge and thus have gained 25 Reputation Points.]

"Nice."

Leon checked his total.

[Reputation Points: 225]

’The next reward won’t be just more stat gains per level,’ he realized, ’It will be big.’

Light enveloped his vision, and monts later, he stepped through the [Myriad Arena Gate], erging back into [Myriad Race City].

The place was buzzing. Conversations overlapped everywhere.

"Leon Rykard..."

"The Saintess..."

"Did you see that beam?"

"They cleared it back-to-back!"

Leon grimaced.

After about a minute, Emilia erged from the gate as well, her eyes lighting up when she spotted him.

"Let’s go," Leon said imdiately. "I don’t want people checking my status panel."

There was still a chance that higher-level players could see his ID.

Right now, [Celestial] was too famous. And now, "Leon Rykard" was becoming famous too.

’Damn it,’ Leon thought as they moved quickly through the crowd. ’At this rate I can’t use any of my identities.’

They slipped into a quieter part of the city.

"You got the [Affinity Skill Book], right?" Leon asked.

Emilia nodded, holding hers up. "Yeah."

"Good," Leon said. "Let’s use them first. We’ll figure everything else out later."

They stopped in a narrow alley, the night sky visible above them. Mana lamps cast soft light across the stone walls.

Emilia smiled. "I hope I get sothing good."

"We’ll see," Leon replied.

They both pulled out their books. Leon poured his mana into the pages.

The book trembled violently, glowing brighter and brighter in his hands.

Ding!

[You have used the "Affinity Skill Book"]

[For showing such an amazing feat, the "Heavenly One" has acknowledged you and shall grant you a grand ability.]

Leon held his breath. Whatever ca next would change everything.

The announcent of Leon completing the [Elental Temple] only rang in the [Lower Domains] so the [Higher Domains] and [Eternal Domain] have no idea who Celestial is.
