Ding!

[The "Heavenly One" has granted you the "Celestial Hand" passive skill.]

"Oh?"

Leon’s eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the panel floating in front of him. Then, slowly, a wide grin spread across his face.

"Interesting."

Just the fact that the word celestial was part of the skill’s na was already enough to make his expectations rise.

Skills tied to his identity as a [Celestial] had never disappointed him so far. Not once.

Without hesitation, Leon accepted it.

Ding!

[You have learned "Celestial Hand (Ancient)"]

"...What?"

Leon froze for half a second.

"Ancient-rank?!" His eyes widened. "Holy hell."

Ancient. That was the rank after Mythical.

In this life, Leon had already encountered many skill and item ranks, and he knew exactly how absurd this was. From the lowest to the highest he had seen so far, the hierarchy went:

Common, Uncommon, Rare, Elite, Epic, Legendary, Mythical and Ancient.

There were even higher ranks beyond that, but for most players, Legendary was already sothing they would rarely see in the [Lower Domain].

In his past life, it was only in the [Higher Domain] that the items or skills other players acquired beca powerful.

In fact, ancient-rank items/skills were rare in there too. And now he had one of each.1

anwhile, Emilia blinked a few tis before speaking.

"The na of my new skill is [Silk Bind (Legendary)]," she said, turning toward Leon. "It sounds... strong."

Leon looked at her, then nodded slowly.

"Legendary is still amazing," he said honestly.

Still, he couldn’t help but notice the difference in rank between the two rewards. Ancient for him. Legendary for her.

Why? He didn’t voice the thought.

The one who decided these things was the [Heavenly One], and trying to understand that being’s logic was probably pointless.

Emilia quickly sent her skill panel over to Leon so he could take a look.

---

[Silk Bind (Legendary Lv.1): Summon threads of silk to bind your enemies firmly, though they may break free.]

---

"Oh...!"

Leon’s eyes lit up as soon as he finished reading it.

"A restraint-type skill," he said, clearly impressed. "That’s amazing."

He imdiately understood how valuable it was.

Emilia’s biggest weakness had never been her damage. It was her lack of reliable control.

Her attacks were devastating, but most of them covered wide areas, making them easier to avoid for opponents with high agility.

In fact, that was the only realistic way Leon himself could beat Emilia if they ever fought seriously.

If he could dodge her attacks long enough and keep pressuring her, she’d eventually fall.

Not that he planned to ever test that theory.

But now? With [Silk Bind], everything changed.

If an enemy was restrained, even for a mont, Emilia’s spells would land cleanly. And once that happened, the fight would end instantly.

"This is perfect," Leon said with a grin. "It even helps indirectly."

Emilia smiled, clearly pleased. The [Affinity Skill Book] truly lived up to its reputation.

Leon was certain that if one ever appeared on the market, people would pay millions for it without hesitation.

Still, his attention quickly returned to his own skill. He turned his gaze back to his panel.

Ding!

[Celestial Hand (Ancient Lv.1): Upon killing an enemy, there is a 10% chance that this skill allows you to choose one of the items dropped by a monster and obtain an additional copy of it.]

"...Huh."

At first glance, Leon’s expression remained neutral.

It didn’t sound flashy. There were no explosions, no divine attacks, no direct combat boost.

But then the aning fully sank in. And Leon’s breathing slowed.

"This..." he muttered.

It wasn’t an active skill. It was a passive one.

A passive that directly interacted with drops.

Leon imdiately understood why the [Heavenly One] had given him this skill.

It knew about his [100% Drop Rate] talent.

And instead of giving him more raw power, it gave him sothing far more terrifying in the long run.

"Incredible," Leon whispered.

He showed the panel to Emilia. She read it once. Then again.

"...Wait," she said slowly. "Does this an... you can sotis get two of the sa item?"

"Probably," Leon nodded. "Only ten percent for now, but still..."

Emilia stared at him like he had just broken the rules of the world.

"That’s insane."

"It really is," Leon agreed. "The only thing I’m unsure about is how it works exactly."

"Only one way to find out," Emilia said, grinning.

Leon laughed. Without wasting any more ti, the two of them left the quiet alley and returned to the main square of [Myriad Race City].

The place was still lively, filled with players talking excitedly about the recent fights in the [Myriad Arena].

But Leon and Emilia didn’t care. They had sothing better to do.

Soon after, they headed toward the city gates.

"We’ll co back later," Leon said as they exited. "For now, we focus on getting stronger."

He paused briefly.

"And on that egg."

Emilia didn’t ask what he ant. She already knew.

The [Primordial Dragon of Chaos]. Leon didn’t dare say its na out loud in public.

"Let guess," Emilia said, "we’re going to so insanely secret and dangerous zone."

Leon chuckled.

"Of course. The [Star Magic Cave], a level 50 dungeon, in our case."

"...Damn."

The [Star Magic Cave] wasn’t a zone famous for loot or rare monsters. On the surface, it was simply a dangerous place where players could grind and grow stronger.

But Leon knew better. In his past life, after reaching the [Higher Domain], he had heard rumors.

If soone used a [Secret Realm Token] at the end of the cave at the hardest difficulty, a hidden realm would open.

Everyone who entered it disappeared. Most believed they had died.

And by the ti Leon heard about it back then, returning to the [Lower Domain] was already impossible.

The orc guards at the gate glanced at Leon and Emilia with clear disdain but said nothing, allowing them to pass.

Just like that, they stepped into the wilderness of the second part of the [Lower Domain].

"We’ll need a [Secret Realm Token] first," Leon said as they walked. "Only then can we properly enter the [Star Magic Cave]. Its secret realm might hold sothing that helps with the egg or to make us stronger."

He didn’t count on it too much. But even a small chance was worth taking. If nothing else, it would be a good place to level up.

The [Higher Domain] was bound to have sothing that could help hatch the [Primordial Dragon of Chaos] anyway.

Unfortunately, [Secret Realm Tokens] were rare.

They didn’t drop from ordinary monsters. Not even most bosses.

You either obtained them from specific quests, very special enemies... or bought them.

Leon checked the [Trading House].

Beep!

[There are no "Secret Realm Tokens" available for sale.]

He sighed. Not that he could afford one anyway.

"Guess we hunt," Emilia said.

Leon nodded. They moved forward, deeper into the wilds.

A few minutes later—

Click! Krakks!

The ground around them cracked open.

Multiple figures burst from beneath the earth, surrounding Leon and Emilia from all sides.

---

[Earth Spider]

[Level: 31]

[Combat Power: 38,000]

[Details: A spider that acts in groups, usually lives underground and attacks anyone who disturbs its nest.]

---

Leon glanced around. Then he smiled faintly.

Emilia didn’t even blink. To them, this level of combat power was almost laughable.

"Ti to test my new skill," Emilia said calmly, lifting her scepter.
