The rest of the night passed without any further interruptions, the earlier tension slowly fading away as silence settled over the room once again.
And eventually, as ti moved forward, both Emilia and Celeste woke up from their sleep, their expressions noticeably calr than before as they stretched lazily, clearly refreshed from the rest they had managed to get despite everything that had happened.
Leon, who had remained awake the entire ti, simply stood near the window as he watched them.
A faint smile appeared on his face as he noticed how relaxed they looked compared to the night before, where danger had been lurking just outside their reach.
Celeste was the first to fully wake up, rubbing her eyes slightly before walking toward Leon.
Her hand instinctively reached out to grab his shoulder as she tried to get a better look at his face, clearly searching for any signs of exhaustion.
"Did you not sleep again?" she asked, her tone filled with concern as her eyes narrowed slightly, "You don’t look tired at all..."
Leon didn’t move away, nor did he try to avoid her gaze, instead answering honestly without any hesitation, his voice calm as ever.
"I don’t think I can get tired," he said simply, before adding after a brief pause, "And I needed to keep watch in case sothing happened."
Both Emilia and Celeste understood exactly what he ant without needing any further explanation.
And while they appreciated what he was doing for them, there was still a clear hint of worry in their expressions, knowing that constantly staying alert like this wasn’t exactly normal.
"Next ti, I’ll be the one to watch," Emilia spoke up, nodding to herself as she summoned her scepter in one smooth motion, clearly determined, "I can handle anything that cos our way."
Leon glanced at her for a brief mont before smiling lightly, not arguing against her words.
"Sure," he replied simply.
With that, the three of them prepared to leave the room, their short break now coming to an end as they stepped outside.
Only for Leon’s eyes to briefly land on the cracked wall from the night before, the damage still very much visible from where he had been thrown against it.
Without overthinking it, Leon approached the reception desk where the sa native stood, his expression as neutral as always as he spoke.
"The [Awakener Lord] cracked the wall of the room we were in," Leon said casually, as if he was talking about sothing completely ordinary, "Thanks."
And just like that, without waiting for any kind of response, he turned around and walked away, leaving the receptionist completely frozen in place, confusion written all over his face as he tried to process what he had just heard.
After all, if what Leon said was true, then there was nothing he could possibly do about it.
Going against the [Awakener Lord] was not even an option, it was sothing no one in this place would ever dare to consider.
"O-Oh well..." the receptionist muttered awkwardly to himself after a few seconds, forcing a nervous smile onto his face as he tried to move on from the situation, "No one ever cos here anyway... and if they do, I’ll just make sothing up..."
With that, he quickly decided to forget about it entirely, as there was simply no reason to dwell on sothing he couldn’t change.
anwhile, outside the hotel, Leon, Celeste, and Emilia stepped out into the open once more.
The atmosphere of the [Newbie District] felt strangely calm compared to the chaos they had experienced in the night.
"I think I’ll only need one more run of the [Hellish Beach] to gather everything I need," Leon said calmly as he looked ahead, already planning their next steps, "Until then... you can consider this a break."
"The biggest one we’ve had so far~" Emilia smiled brightly, clearly enjoying the idea of having ti to relax for once.
Leon let out a small sigh, though he couldn’t deny that she was right.
Up until now, their journey had been nothing but constant battles, whether it was against monsters, natives, or even other players, leaving them with very little ti to truly rest.
Even when they did take breaks, it was usually just to recover their stamina or to quickly eat sothing before jumping right back into danger, so having actual free ti like this felt almost unusual.
And so, without rushing anything, the three of them spent the next few hours simply exploring the [Newbie District], taking in everything around them as they moved through the different sections of the area.
It didn’t take long for them to realize that there was even a dedicated entertainnt section, where players could relax and enjoy themselves in various ways, sothing that felt oddly out of place in a world like this.
"And of course... it’s divided by ranks as well," Leon sighed, already expecting that outco.
Just like everything else in the [Awakener Kingdom], even sothing as simple as entertainnt was locked behind rank restrictions, ensuring that those with higher ranks had access to better facilities.
It was a way to reinforce the idea that rank dictated everything.
Eventually, as they sat down on a bench in a park area reserved for C-Rank players and above, a familiar panel appeared in front of Leon.
Ding!
[Domain Travel’s cooldown has ended, you can use it again.]
The mont he saw it, Leon imdiately understood what it ant, his expression sharpening slightly as he stood up.
"The [Realm] is going to reset soon," he said, stretching slightly before looking at the two girls.
"Aren’t we going to eat first?" Emilia asked, tilting her head slightly, "I’m hungry."
"I’m starving too~" Celeste added playfully as she moved closer to Leon, her tone light despite everything.
Leon couldn’t help but laugh slightly at their reactions before shaking his head.
"Don’t worry," he said, "I already prepared sothing for us to eat inside the realm, and it’ll be a good opportunity to test it out as well."
