A surge of energy flowed into Leon’s body right away, making him feel lighter and stronger at the sa ti.
His reaction speed increased significantly while his physical power rose to a level that would allow him to deal with incoming attacks much more efficiently.
And just as expected—
Fwoosh!
Another arrow ca flying toward them, this one clearly stronger and faster than the previous one, cutting through the air with even more force as it aid directly at Leon.
This ti, he didn’t even consider dodging.
Instead, he stepped forward slightly and swung his sword with perfect timing.
SLASH!
The blade cut straight through the arrow midair, splitting it cleanly in half before it could reach him, the two pieces flying past harmlessly as Leon remained completely steady in his position.
In that brief mont before impact, he noticed sothing important. A faint fla wrapped around the arrow.
’Poison and fire...’ Leon thought as his eyes narrowed slightly, analyzing the situation quickly, ’That ans they can either switch attributes or combine them, and if that’s the case, then they probably have more options as well.’
That alone told him enough about the person attacking them.
They were skilled, precise, and experienced.
Leon didn’t lower his guard even after deflecting the second arrow, instead remaining completely still while focusing all his attention on the window, waiting for another attack that he could use to pinpoint the archer’s exact location.
Seconds passed, then minutes, and Leon stayed exactly where he was, his senses stretched to their limit as he carefully observed everything around him, searching for any sign of movent or presence.
He activated [Vision Enhancent] every ti he could.
But nothing ca. There was no third arrow. Just silence.
Even after several minutes passed, Leon didn’t move, continuing to wait with the sa level of focus, refusing to assu that it was over too early.
Eventually though, he exhaled slowly, his expression remaining serious.
’They stopped...’
There were only a few possible explanations.
The attacker had realized that Leon wasn’t an easy target and decided to retreat.
Or they had switched their attention elsewhere.
Or this had never been about killing him in the first place, which was strange.
’Could have been a test... or a warning,’ Leon thought, his gaze still fixed forward.
Regardless of the reason, the imdiate threat had disappeared for now.
Leon turned slightly toward the bed, where Emilia and Celeste were still watching him, both clearly alert despite their exhaustion.
"You guys can sleep," Leon said calmly, his voice steady as if nothing serious had happened, "I’ll take care of it."
There was no hesitation in his tone, and surprisingly, neither of them argued or questioned him, simply trusting his judgnt completely as they slowly relaxed again.
It didn’t take long before they lay back down, their bodies giving in to their exhaustion once more as they drifted back into sleep.
Leon watched them for a brief mont before turning back toward the window.
’As expected... having my ID known everywhere is a problem,’ he thought, his eyes slightly narrowing.
The na [Celestial] had spread far too quickly, and there was no way for him to hide anymore.
No matter where he went, people would recognize him.
The only option left was to beco strong enough that it wouldn’t matter.
Ti passed slowly after that, with Leon remaining in position as he kept watch, his mind constantly running through possibilities while staying ready for another attack at any mont.
An hour passed, then another, and just as Leon was about to shift his attention away—
Fwoosh! BOOM!
Another arrow shot toward him at incredible speed, faster than before, forcing Leon to react instantly as he prepared to deflect it once again.
But this ti, sothing was different.
The arrow suddenly stopped midair, right in front of the window, completely halting its movent in a way that didn’t make any sense.
Leon’s eyes narrowed as he watched it carefully.
Then, right before him, the arrow transford, dissolving into light as it reshaped itself into a small floating panel.
[The Awakener Lord is very interested in you.]
[You shall et with him once you reach the "Advanced District"]
Leon stared at it for a brief mont, his expression calm but his thoughts already moving quickly.
Before he could react further, the panel disappeared completely, leaving nothing behind.
A cold look appeared in Leon’s eyes as he processed what had just happened, ’So it’s him...’
The one observing them. The [Awakener Lord].
He had likely sent an assassin to convey that ssage.
Leon tightened his grip slightly, his mind imdiately assessing the situation.
’Too strong... just like Dominik,’ he thought, his judgnt clear, ’not soone I can deal with right now.’
That realization alone made things more complicated.
Leon needed ti to grow stronger and explore everything, but at the sa ti, he couldn’t afford to move too slowly, because if an overwhelming opponent like this decided to act directly, he wouldn’t have the ability to resist.
He knew sothing from his past life that guided his thinking.
He had survived for fifteen years in this world, which wasn’t sothing many people could say, and that survival hadn’t just co from strength and luck, but also from avoiding unnecessary attention.
Those who gained fa too quickly usually died, either hunted down or challenged by others looking to prove themselves, and if Leon had taken that path back then, he wouldn’t have lasted long at all.
That was one of the reasons why Eleonore Starlight died.1
But this ti, things were different. He was already known. Already targeted.
And that wasn’t even the biggest problem.
The real danger was what ca later: the [Eternal Domain].
If he had stayed in the [Higher Domains] in his past life, he could have spent a LONG ti in them.
He even doubted that the [God of Eternity] or the other gods would have even known he existed, but the mont he stepped into their domain, everything changed.
He had died within a month of entering it.
That alone was enough to understand how terrifying they were.
Leon’s gaze slowly shifted toward the bed, where Emilia and Celeste were sleeping peacefully, completely unaware of everything that was happening around them.
A small smile appeared on his face, ’I don’t want them to die either,’ he thought quietly.
He had hesitated before about bringing them further, about letting them follow him into the [Eternal Battlefield] and eventually the [Eternal Domain], because in the [Higher Domains], they could live comfortably without danger.
Even as the domains grew unstable, living in them for a while would have been possible.
The gods cannot interfere directly with them after all.
But beyond that, nothing was guaranteed. Their chances of survival would drop drastically.
And yet, he already knew they wouldn’t stay behind. They had already made their decision.
Leon turned back toward the window, the faint breeze moving through his hair as he exhaled slowly, his gaze fixed on the distant lights of the district.
Everything looked calm. Peaceful. But he knew that it wouldn’t stay that way.
"I wonder what’s gonna happen next."

Just so information that I felt didn’t fit in the Chapter:
The gods cannot intefere with the [Higher Domains] and [Lower Domains] directly.
But the situation got much worse as ti went on because, as the gods’ power grew, the monsters in the domains grew stronger as well.
If you were a "weaker" player, you would be dood.
That is why Leon said that even if you thought you could enjoy yourself forever by staying behind, it was wrong.
On the other hand, it would be entirely possible to live for as long as you want in the [Lower Domains] and [Higher Domains] if you were stronger than the monsters, though their power would keep growing until eventually, it was impossible.
