Chapter 1325: Chapter 737: Guidance of the Wind of True Love
Ah, that light, ah, that water, ah, those long legs…
Outside the window, below was a street. A tall, beautifully dressed young lady with long legs was elegantly passing by, with a dog on a leash.
And the character that the hobody witch was currently possessing was rather perceptive, constantly locking their gaze on the young lady’s legs.
Wow, those black stockings…
“Comrade.”
Dorothy silently gave a thumbs-up to the character she was possessing, then with a thought, her vision changed.
This ti, the first thing she saw were those two smooth, straight long legs in black stockings.
Really close, so close you could almost touch them with your tongue.
Don’t ask why it’s not a hand – it’s because the hobody witch was currently a dog.
Yes, the very dog that the long-legged young lady was walking.
After being human for so long, suddenly experiencing the perspective of a dog was surprisingly novel and fun, especially when the young lady bent down to play with the dog, revealing a stunning view.
Wow, are dogs really this blessed?
The dog’s face showed a smitten smile, but quickly returned to normal. anwhile, a passing eagle overhead almost froze its wings in shock and almost fell, but managed to regain its balance, performing a 360-degree aerial maneuver before soaring past the long-legged young lady and the blissful dog.
“My goodness, it’s really possible to move freely.”
Dorothy, now incarnated as the bald eagle, thought in amazent.
She noticed that each ti she switched vessels, the degree of freedom varied.
For instance, from being completely immobile at the start, to showing expressions as a dog, and now to almost fully controlling this eagle – the level of freedom seed different with each vessel.
Still, she’s unsure of the rules governing this freedom.
In her eagle form, Dorothy pondered while circling the sky.
For soone like her, a Dragon Witch with Dragon’s Wings, controlling wings for flight was no challenge.
She glanced down at the roof window to see who she first possessed.
However, seeing it for the first ti nearly shocked her into forgetting to flap her wings and crash again.
“My god, Artie, no, Lord Demon King.”
Though the black-haired girl at the window didn’t match Dorothy’s mory of the Evil Breed Little Lolita, girls change a lot with age. The face and features, however, were unmistakably hers.
It was indeed the young Lord Demon King herself.
Damn, the initial perspective was actually the protagonist’s view.
Dorothy, now looking at the dog-walking long-legged sister, observed her face instead of her legs.
Well, there was Hers, that big-mouthed crow’s Ancestral Elder, the Sage of Lies.
Alright, this is clearly a scripted play. This scene is likely the first encounter of the two protagonists, even though right now neither knows the other, nor do they know they’ll later beco frenemies.
This is fate.
The Dorothy-eagle circled the air, contemplating the two strangers below with a strange feeling of excitent about the Power of Fate.
This scene is scripted, but in real history, did this sa thing happen? That’s not a script, or maybe it is, called “Fate”.
anwhile, as the hobody witch pondered, the plot finally unfolded below.
By the window, the Devil Girl seed to be writing a letter, which she left on the windowsill. At this mont, a mysterious gust of wind blew, precisely taking the letter off the sill, whirling it around until it landed accurately by Hers, who was playing with her dog.
The dog sniffed the letter, obediently picked it up, and handed it to its master.
Witnessing this, the eagle Dorothy remained silent.
Then the eagle extended a wing to scratch its head, a belly full of complaints unspoken.
Though this action nearly resulted in the eagle’s third crash.
Luckily, the eagle’s role wasn’t crucial, and no matter how it showed off, the protagonists below ignored its antics. Otherwise, the duo’s attention should have been directed at her.
After all, they’re witches, wielders of magic, revered as deities by mortals.
Really, this is a Devil Girl. What kind of wind could’ve taken her letter if she didn’t want it to? And even if it did, wouldn’t a Mage’s Hand retrieve it? Don’t tell the dignified Devil Girl can’t manage this.
If it were a mortal’s script, Dorothy would find it plausible, but this is a witch’s script, making it utterly ridiculous.
Unless the Devil Girl did it intentionally, she clearly is fishing.
Dorothy suspected.
But following this train of thought, the hobody witch found the story plausible again, given her understanding of Artie – that devious character could indeed be fishing.
So, she quickly extracted from the eagle, switching back to the Devil Girl’s perspective.
After all, she rembered the Magic Shadow let viewers experience the protagonist’s emotions and thoughts, so surely this higher-level stage play would too?
Yes, she needed to see if Artie was truly fishing.
And as soon as she switched into the Devil Girl’s form, indeed an emotion erged from her heart – the Devil Girl’s current thoughts.
“Oh fate, please deliver my heartfelt letter to its rightful owner.”
Dorothy absorbed the ssage, falling into silence.
Oh…
She was half right. The Devil Girl certainly did it intentionally, otherwise no mysterious wind would snatch her letter.
But she wronged the Demon King; this wasn’t malicious baiting, just sincere teenage hopes.
Truly, if it were a different main character, Dorothy might be touched, admiring the beauty of youth and poetic teenage sentints.
But since it’s Artie, Dorothy just wonders whose unlucky child caught this bad apple’s eye.
Frightening? Indeed, truly frightening.
It’s evident that this stage of the Devil Girl hasn’t yet erged, her magic still immature, far from later as the Witch King, but in the Witch World, anyone recognizing Dorothy’s previous pinnacle talent is already beginning to notice her potential.
That letter-sending magic wasn’t simple.
Perhaps others don’t know the uniqueness of that wind-delivered letter, but as a Spell Master, Lady Witch of the Forest recognized it imdiately as a Divination Departnt’s Nine-Ring Magic Spell – the Guidance of the Wind of True Love.
This spell is one of the prerequisites for the Twelve-Ring Forbidden Curse – Cupid’s Arrow, and among the most challenging Nine-Ring Magic Spells to learn in the Divination Departnt. Many witches may master other divination spells but still can’t grasp this Nine-Ring Spell.
The learning challenges are twofold: true love’s heart and extraordinary destiny talent.
Oh, Dorothy has neither, which is why Lady Witch of the Forest grits her teeth at this spell.
And now, this Devil Girl, roughly around sixteen or seventeen, the sa age as Dorothy, has already mastered this difficult spell.
Her genius is evident.
Although, the Devil Girl’s spell still failed.
Hmph, failed casting novice.
The hobody witch, who couldn’t even learn it, internally scoffed, thinking this.
….Dorothy biting into a lemon…
