The Succubus Witch, having gotten what she wanted, picked up her sister who still lay on the sofa with a large belly, unable to move, and got to her feet to say goodbye; the two of them leaped down from the balcony and returned to their own floor.
On the top floor, Dorothy glanced at the Angel Witch, who had cleaned up the kitchen and returned to the living room, and after so thought, she finally spoke up.
"Sophia, about today, I'm sorry, okay?"
Angel Witch: "???"
The Pure White Witch looked puzzled at the sudden apology from the young lady and was sowhat at a loss.
"Just now, you overstepped your bounds as my Master to invite the president and the others to dine together. I was only being polite subconsciously, without the intention of a serious invite, and moreover, you were sowhat unwilling, weren't you?"
Dorothy explained as she spoke.
Sophia fell slightly silent for a mont, sowhat surprised.
Was the young lady actually such a thoughtful person? Could her flawless performance really be seen through?
However, she didn't deny it but instead nodded her head.
"It's nothing, I don't mind these things, and it's not that I don't welco Madeline and the others; it's just that I was a bit wary because I thought this guy might have so kind of idea about you, Miss. But since you already accepted her invitation, I won't say more. Just be more careful in the future."
The Pure White Witch sat down on the sofa too, claiming indifference, but in fact, her mood inexplicably started to improve.
"I see, whether you mind or not is your affair, but I'm apologizing because it's my own responsibility. After all, we're going to live together for quite a few years; it's better to clear up these small grievances if possible. Each ti Dorothy was addressed as 'Miss' by the Angel Witch, she felt as if she was being made fun of in a vague manner. Yet, upon closer reflection, she realized that most of the ti, Sophia seed quite serious about it.
That was very strange indeed.
From the information Dorothy gathered in recent days on the campus forum, Sophia ca from a distinguished family with possible ties to the Academy Head, hinting at lineage that could trace back to the God King, making her a true Noble Blood Heir.
In terms of status, she would only be higher than Dorothy, a forr Descendant of the Dragon King, not lower. So why did it always feel to Dorothy that Sophia was acting too humbly in her presence? She consistently behaved as if she was in a lower position, as if she were truly serving Dorothy like a young lady.
Was it just because Sophia's teacher was Dorothy's mother?
That would be far-fetched, even though in the Witch World, the relationship between teacher and student is indeed highly valued, sotis even stronger than that between mother and daughter tied by blood. But there's no need for Sophia to act to such an extent; it was beyond a normal teacher-student relationship, more like the relationship between a ruler and a retainer.
Although Dorothy's mother was indeed formidable, having beco a Peak Witch at a young age with the potential to be a Sage, with the Angel Witch's talent and status, it wasn't necessary to be so obsequious. As long as she continued to grow normally, Sophia's future achievents would surely not be much less than her own mother's.
In short, it was all very strange.
When Mom Dragon gave her the three options earlier, Dorothy found the third option very odd. What surprised her even more was that Sophia seed to have no resistance toward such an outrageous arrangent, which was preposterous.
According to the usual plot, shouldn't the Angel Witch be strongly dissatisfied, leading Dorothy to defiantly declare that fortunes change and not to underestimate one's potential, setting a three-year challenge.
Then, when Dorothy erged victorious, Sophia would have a change of heart and even begin to have favorable impressions, culminating in a cold rejection by Dorothy, leaving Sophia in regret, weeping bitterly...
Yeah, that's the kind of developnt that's sufficiently majestic, when Dorothy was about to speak her lines, yet that Pure White Witch simply agreed with a light nod.
At that mont, her submissive attitude almost made Dorothy wonder if even if she were truly an irredeemable good-for-nothing, and on top of that extrely ugly, with a face full of pimples, Sophia would still agree.
What exactly is her relationship with mother, what's the story there, and why is she so obedient and well-behaved?
Dorothy was very curious.
And to such a question, the Pure White Witch's body stiffened slightly, instinctively wanting to avoid it, but after thinking it over carefully, she still spoke up.
"Because Miss, you are my Miss. I was once trained by the teacher as a successor, and now that you have returned, Miss, the teacher's successor is naturally you. Therefore, my duty naturally becos to assist you. As your future retainer, is there anything wrong with calling you Miss?"

Sophia's eyes, as dazzling as gold, fixed on Dorothy, and then she said these actually sowhat shaful lines with a plain face.
And when she spoke, her tone was undeniably loyal, but the Hobody Witch, moved by inspiration, heard a hint of sorrow in the Angel Witch's voice.
"There's no such thing as loyalty without reason in this world, surely you must give a reason."
Faced with such an elusive answer, Dorothy frowned.
She didn't understand Sophia's reason for doing so. Surely with the Angel Witch's capabilities, she could easily carve out her own Witch Territory, couldn't she? With her reputation at the Witch Academy, all she would have to do upon graduation is call out, and followers would surely flock to her. So why degrade herself to be the retainer of such an unambitious salted fish like her?
In response to this probing question, the Pure White Witch lowered her eyes.
"Because that territory of the teacher you despise so much and are unwilling to inherit is the only place I have to call my own. I can't possibly betray my own ho, can I?"
Sophia's voice trembled a bit, the tone carrying resentnt, complaint, sorrow, and even envy among other emotions, making it seem quite complicated.
However, she quickly regained her composure, got her emotions in check, and then continued speaking to Dorothy.
"Alright, Miss, you should be satisfied now. Okay then, it's getting late, and we have the opening ceremony to attend tomorrow. Let's get so rest."
Not wanting to speak further, the Pure White Witch got up and returned to her room, leaving a sowhat at-a-loss Dorothy sitting on the sofa.
"It's all true, Dorothy. Congratulations—you've got yourself an absolutely loyal retainer. Even I'm a bit envious of you," said the voice of Hat Senior Sister above her head.
It's just that this affirmation from the future ruler only made the Hobody Witch feel even more bewildered.
She was feeling a bit regretful at the mont, she shouldn't have let her curiosity get the better of her and asked all those questions. Now it's just added to her troubles.
Sigh, it seems Sophia really does have a story.
