Original Sin tentacles sprouted from it, connecting to the others, but Adam and his father and daughter were protected by a radiance ten thousand feet high: one as the Giant of Light, and the other simply as the Sun, each more brilliant than the last. Although the Original Sin tentacles attempted to influence them, they dissolved in the light before approaching.
Of course, Dorothy also saw within the Soul of the Demon King, Artie’s girl soul was trying to pull these Original Sins, attempting to stop their rampage, but she couldn’t control these Original Sins at all, like a child wielding a large sword.

Dorothy sighed and then reached out. With a flick of her finger, she gave Artie’s body a flick on the forehead, simultaneously sending a bit of Buddha Light into her body.
This Buddha Light arrived beside the Devil Girl’s soul and then transford into a garnt draped over her.
Thus, the struggling Devil Girl paused, only to feel an unprecedented warmth envelop her, along with so new knowledge appearing in her mind.
“Oath of Heart?”
She slightly digested this knowledge and then paused.
“With your intelligence, you don’t need any reminders from . Find an oath for yourself and set it, at least to prevent becoming a slave to Original Sin.”
Dorothy sent a telepathic ssage to this embarrassing future Demon King.
Her state of mind skills were not innate but Eastern Immortal Arts, and what she could teach Artie was this Oath of Heart passed down from Adam’s ancestors.
Artie, over the past month, had been calling her teacher consistently, and although Dorothy did not want to admit it, she couldn’t let the person call her for nothing. After much thought, this was all she could teach.
Well, since Adam ca up with this independent strength outside of the Witch Magic System, there’s no worry that teaching it to Artie would affect the normal developnt of the Witch World.
Actually, given Artie’s selfish nature, she certainly wouldn’t have the thought of sharing anything good with others, so she wouldn’t be teaching it to anyone.
“Teacher?”
Hearing the telepathic ssage, Artie was delighted, and she promptly set a Pact of the Heart from her mind’s mory, leading the rampant Demon King’s soul to begin calming.
Although the newly ford Pact of the Heart was still weak and not enough to resist Original Sin as easily as Dorothy, as Artie continued to grow, one day she ought to shake off the influence of Original Sin and turn the tables to beco the master.
That’s what Dorothy thought.
And with Artie’s successful soul retraction, the others gradually cald down.
“Teacher, I love you to death.”
The hobody witch felt relieved but was imdiately pounced upon by Artie, leaping into her embrace.
Unfortunately, Dorothy had been well-trained by Alice to defend against such surprise attacks; she nonchalantly stopped the Devil Girl with a one-handed cheek pinch mid-air.
“This is the compensation you asked for,”
she calmly said.
The previously happy Artie’s face imdiately dropped.
The Devil Girl only now understood why her Power of Original Sin had no effect on her teacher during their first eting, it was certainly the Oath of Heart’s doing.
This is truly marvelous; with this, she no longer had to worry about being polluted by the Original Sin contained within the Demon King’s Soul. She could finally be free and be herself.
Well, for the first ti, there was a teacher she longed for, and for the first ti, hope for freedom. These two happy events overlapped, which ought to be dreamily beautiful, yet why, why did it have to be like this?
“I don’t want it, teacher, you’re cheating,”
Artie imdiately struggled and protested.
Well, she had planned on using the compensation to have fun in various ways with her teacher; only by doing so could she leave enough beautiful and joyous mories. But now the dream shattered, and Artie’s heart was about to break as well.

Already familiar with this greedy brat’s antics, Dorothy couldn’t be bothered with her and just turned her attention to the two aunts.
“You two should understand this fellow’s peculiarity by now?”

If they handed over this soul to either the Sacrificial Faction or the Return Faction, the Thirteen Vampire Clan Families could fulfill their wish and obtain a new drop of True Ancestor’s Blood.
The thought of this stirred both Camilla and Elizabeth; the hope for the revival of the Thirteen Clans seed so close, how could it not be tempting?
But upon eting the silently smiling gaze of the Great Dragon King’s Envoy, they suppressed their greed.
With the Dragon King already aware of the situation, any further small actions would be courting death.
Even if they obtained the True Ancestor’s Blood and the Thirteen Clans regained their status, in the face of the Dragon King, they would still be nothing more than slightly bigger ants.
The thought of the Dragon King’s decisive and ruthless nature made them very sensible and calm.
“What would the Lord need us to cooperate on?”

But Dorothy wasn’t sure about Adam’s reliability, or Artie’s, though she should be fairly reliable.

Dorothy reckoned that, historically, Mammon might have been defeated by the Demon Girl around this very period.
