Now reading: Chapter 1707 891: Lucifer's Shock (Part 2) from Otaku Witch, a Fantasy novel by Salty Fish Becomes Immortal.

That power shares the sa origin as His [Space-Ti] Authority.

Alright, let's not flatter ourselves; in truth, that blessing wasn't sothing He intended to give. He wasn't so generous as to deplete His essence to bless a child.

It was purely because He presided over your reincarnation back then, so a strand of His power inevitably followed you into the womb. Normally, this power would only grant you a decent Space-Ti Talent.

However, unfortunately, the unique soul extracted from the teor back then is beyond common comprehension.

The strand of power He left behind was directly deciphered by the other party in the womb, and then pirated, which led to such profound space-ti favor.

Even Lucifer himself finds it hard to cope with this feeling. How to describe it? It's as if only you could open your front door, but suddenly, soone glances at your key and goes ho to create a spare key out of thin air that can truly open your door.

The [Space-Ti] Authority no longer belongs solely to Him, much like Gabriel's [Fate] now has three keys (Divine King and Sophia).

In any case, whether Lucifer likes it or not, He can only pinch His nose and acknowledge this "goddaughter."

After all, for beings like them, the inheritance of power is more important than bloodline. You can have countless offspring, but a true inheritor of your legacy is hard to find.

This is also why the master-disciple relationship in the Extraordinary World is even closer than that of father and son.

Of course, a better option for Him would be to dispose of this thief and recover the spare key, reclaiming sole dominion over the [Space-Ti] Authority.

But just take a look at that luxurious guardian ensemble backing her…

The Fallen Angel King can only express a sense of helplessness in this regard.

Well, if given another chance, He…

Alright, He would still have reincarnated this child. There's no choice; His pride forbids Him to break His promise, especially since Adam did win that bet fair and square back then.

Lucifer can lose, but He absolutely cannot be a sore loser.

All one can say is that Adam truly lives up to being the destined perfect man, the savior of fate. Even having been severely wounded by that teor, with almost none of his power remaining, reverted to his original state to start anew; he is still not soone to be easily provoked (because it's truly from creating their future to rewriting their past, so even a once-everlasting proof was shattered and had to be resud).

He shouldn't have arrogantly opened champagne at halfti and set up that damn bet; wouldn't it have been better to just take the teor and run?

It's a pity, though, as even when facing that bizarre teor capable of anchoring space-ti nodes, even a holder of the [Space-Ti] Authority like himself has no redy.

Just as He can't do anything about this Devil King at this point in ti, He can do even less about this soul from another world that He can't even understand.

Ever since the "Day of the Falling teor," when that peculiar single worldline began to grow, all that has subsequently grown has beco immutable facts that even He, as a Space-Ti Demon God, cannot alter.

If one were to say that soone in this world has a chance to change history, it would probably be the pillar of this bizarre worldline itself.

Yes, precisely the innate saint in front of Him.

Lucifer, after observing endless space-ti for so long, didn't waste His ti and did research so things.

He discovered that the "Ancient Days" with infinite space-ti weren't truly a world.

More accurately, they were like an egg or soil, rely nourishnt and a nursery for the birth of a true new world.

At the beginning of creation, this node was when the "egg" was created, and the world-ending node was when this "egg" began to decay. The Ark of Salvation piloted by the Giant of Light was ant to be the entity nurtured within the egg, and their new world is the true world destined to unfold.

The true world shouldn't have endless space-ti; it should have this unyielding, immovable stability.

And just as a house needs a solid foundation and pillars for stability, so too must a true new world have its foundation and pillars.

But this is sothing only deities can accomplish.

Thus, the existence of the "Ancient Days" was rely to nourish the birth of a deity, who would then create the true world with infinite future out of the ruins of the Ancient Days.

The fate line of the True God will transform into a mighty trunk, upon which the destinies of all beings rely, forming endless branches and leaves, which shall constitute the canopy.

The presence of the True God will eternally support and nourish the beings, elevating their canopy towards the unreachable, boundless future full of possibilities.

Thus, the Giant of Light driving the Ark was supposed to beco the True God breaking free of the shell.

Regrettably, just as this poor native True God was about to break free from the egg, the celestial teor's impact rendered it back into the egg for re-nurturing.

Normally, an egg cracked from the outside is bound to be a dead egg, but miraculously, while the teor's power mixed the egg's contents chaotically, it strangely preserved the egg's vitality.

Since the "Day of the Falling teor," this world within the egg shattered, but simultaneously beca complete.

It ceased being rely an "egg" or "soil" and beca a real world.

Although at the mont, the main trunk of the World Tree is quite unstable, its instability doesn't matter because He can provide patches and support.

Those nurous destructive elents ant to be sacrifices and nourishnt for the birth of a new god in the egg world were salvaged from their tragic fates by the soul from another world, and the broken fates of the destructive elents beca the soul's support.

Hence, there's the peculiar scene of the Twelve-Winged Angel guarding the roots and the dark Great Dragon supporting the trunk.

This "cuckoo in the nest" World Tree, although growing sowhat bizarre and crooked, stands resilient due to these strong supports.

Hmm, have you ever seen tree branches growing downwards, supporting the trunk inversely?

An inverted canopy? Can that still be called a canopy? That's obviously the roots, co on.

Unlike other trees where the trunk grows thicker and higher, this one grows at its own pace, with the branches lifting it skyward.

Although growing slowly, it is exceptionally stable.

Other trees might be crushed by an overly lush canopy, but as the reverse-growing "canopy" becos denser, the solitary trunk becos more solid.

This isn't even a tree; it's basically a mountain constantly rising.

Lucifer finds all of this quite entertaining.

Even though He still favors the Giant of Light, who was supposed to beco the true god, hoping for His recovery, this crookedly growing tree also seems to hold certain potential.

No wonder the Devil King stubbornly wants to graft herself onto it.

Hmm, if the Devil King doesn't wish to change her growth path, others can't force the change.

But if she willingly cooperates for change?

Moreover, with the Saint's Soul being the sole redy for regret, the grafting plan theoretically could succeed.

After all, as long as you establish a causal relationship with the saint in the past and gain her approval.

But Lucifer understands all this theoretically; the only thing the Fallen Angel King doesn't understand is how Lord Demon King plans to gain approval. Are you thinking of getting accepted by taking a beating?

Lucifer really wants to make a snarky remark.

Yet, what leaves Him truly speechless is that this actually worked. Within His observation, the black shadow originally lurking around that strange worldline has started to rge into the canopy.

This is absurd.

...Demon God in amazent...
