Now reading: Chapter 403: 361. Faction Chief from Otaku Witch, a Fantasy novel by Salty Fish Becomes Immortal.

Upon hearing the term "prival witch," Dorothy was reminded of that new Judge under her command, the Elental Empress.

These days, a prival witch was quite rare. The entire world wouldn't see more than a few each year, and they were all young Genius Witches specializing in the Evocation Series. Combine that with her agreent just last evening to gather this morning, now here was her neighbor lady hurrying out the door.

So many coincidences coming together couldn't just be called coincidences; this was practically solid proof.

Goodness, about that subordinate I just took in actually being my talented upstairs neighbor that I've never t before.

The connection is indeed indescribable.

The hobody witch stroked her chin, feeling that the world was really quite small.

But upon careful consideration, it seed quite reasonable. After all, Witch Academy already gathered most of the school-aged witches from the Witch World; she estimated that at least half of the new judges she had audited were currently enrolled students at the Witch Academy.

Even...

Dorothy looked down at the Tower of Shine beneath her feet and couldn't help but contemplate how many of her new subordinates might actually be her neighbors.

"Mmm-hmm, she is indeed a rare prival witch, a natural witch genius," Senior Mia nodded and sighed when she saw her crush seed quite interested in prival witches.

In this era where witches have flourished and grown strong, prival witches who evolved from humans are almost synonymous with genius. They are the favored children of the Mother of the World and are truly the envy of others.

Even soone like Mia, born to a top witch family, couldn't help feeling a little sour inside. After all, the talents and strengths of witches like her have accumulated through evolution over generations, but these prival witches are born with top-level talents that are not outdone by theirs, which naturally makes people feel a bit uneasy.

Mia herself was doing okay, considering her top-tier talent didn't fall short of that of a prival witch, but for those less fortunate second-generation witches whose talent draw at birth went awry, it was a hard pill to swallow. They had to endure their parents' pressure comparing them to the prival witches like "look at prival witch xxx."

Take for example, this student Christina, she was the quintessential child of another family, the reigning champion of diligence, with her Witch Academy points ranking third, even one place higher than Mia, trailing only behind the president and Disciplinary Committee Chairwoman, those two monsters upstairs.

"So, is this senior very impressive?" Dorothy asked curiously.

"Of course, she's impressive, sister. That one is the head of the School," before Senior Mia could answer, Audrey, who was controlling a Puppet, quickly interjected to grab the attention.

"Uh, head of the School?" The hobody witch was puzzled.

Embarrassingly enough, even after so much ti since the start of school, she still had a limited understanding of Witch Academy, fully demonstrating the ignorance expected of a hobody.

In response, Mia and Audrey looked at each other, sowhat speechless. The two witches each cast a Clothing Change Spell, swapping their pajamas for school uniforms, then each summoned their brooms and mounted up.

The three witches walked and talked together.

"The head of the School refers to the witch who is at the top of each of the Nine Major Schools within the academy, for a total of nine heads, each one a genius among geniuses, prominent figures in the academy," Audrey explained to her self-isolated ntor on the way.

"There are many divisions and even more departnts in Witch Academy, and each has its own ranking and representative, which makes things quite chaotic. Accordingly, there are really only two personal rankings that the entire Witch Academy recognizes: one is the school points list, which is the list that decides who has the right to reside in the Tower of Shine, and the other is the internal rankings of the Nine Major Factions."

"The points list is a comprehensive score for students, but it can be a little unfriendly to so witches who are really focused on a specific subject. In contrast, the lists of the Nine Major Factions cater to those who are specialized, since no matter the school or major, ultimately, they all evolved from the Witch Magic of the Nine Major Schools, and now they're converging back to the source."

"Like the president is the head of the School of Prophecy, Senior Mia is the head of the Alchemy School, and my sister is the head of Combat Magic School, emmm... was."

Little Fox wanted to proudly boast about her sister, but upon glancing at her ntor next to her, she found she couldn't go on. After all, her sister had already lost to her ntor before; perhaps this leading position in the Combat Magic System should be passed on to her ntor.

But co to think of it, can we really count Senior Sister in the rankings? When she gets serious, I'm afraid she could single-handedly be the chief of all nine factions.

Audrey looked at her own Senior Sister with a strange expression, thinking this in her mind.

This Senior Sister is just beyond comparison.

"In any case, only those witch students who can outperform everyone in their respective schools can beco chiefs, and every witch student who becos a chief is formidable. Their futures are destined to be limitless, and as soon as they graduate, all the major witch guilds scramble to get them. As long as they don't die young, becoming a top Great Witch is guaranteed."

"The mothers just keep harping on and on about getting to compete for the position of chief of the Spiritual School, but I've never been very interested in it."

Little Fox started to fret when bringing this up; after all, becoming a chief ans becoming widely known, and being high-profile is what she fears the most as soone with social anxiety. If possible, she just wants to quietly study her puppet theater at ho.

"I see, understood."

Dorothy seed to have a sudden realization.

"Does that an that Senior Christina is very strong? After all, she's the chief of the Evocation School."

She curiously turned her gaze to Senior Mia.

The Evocation School is one of the prominent factions among the nine witch factions, known to have the highest number of people.

After all, which mage wouldn't be able to cast a fireball or shoot an ice arrow? Such magics that manipulate elental forces all fall within the Evocation School's purview.

Evocation, as the na implies, is the art of shaping various energies into the desired form—molding the fire elent into fireballs, condensing the water elent into ice arrows, even concentrating magic power into the Mage's Hand, and shaping gravity into a gravity field, all of these maneuvers are part of evocation. Therefore, those mages imagined by people who could call the wind and summon the rain, command the thunder, and make the ground shake with a wave of their hand are actually evocation mages, and the majority of destructive magics are also part of the Evocation System.

One could say that the Evocation System represents the pinnacle of witch destructive power. Naturally, a witch who can beco the chief of the Evocation School couldn't possibly be a harmless character; she's essentially a walking nuclear bomb.

She recalled the scene during the freshman assessnt and realized that this Elental Empress must have been holding back then.

"That's indeed the case, if we're talking purely about destructive power, I'm not her match when I'm in a normal state,"

Senior Mia nodded, acknowledging the strength of this rival.

Having been old adversaries, the two had faced off many tis and were quite familiar with each other's capabilities.

And Mia never dared to unleash her full combat power against soone she knew, fearing she wouldn't be able to hold back. So, she tended to lose more than win—the various bombardnts even her Golden Dragon Scale Armor couldn't withstand were testant to her opponent's formidable strength.

"Senior Sister, I have reason to believe you're giving yourself a backhanded complint."

Dorothy rolled her eyes, sowhat speechless.

The three chatted and laughed on their way towards the guild headquarters in District Thirteen. However, as they approached District Thirteen, they noticed from afar that sothing was amiss.

And when they got closer, Dorothy's face changed.

"Judgnt Court?"

Upon hearing her, both Senior Mia and Audrey were taken aback, then their expressions turned serious as well.

"What's going on? Why have the people from the Judgnt Court mobilized?"

"So many judges. This must be no small matter."

The two said as they looked towards the front.

...In a hobody witch's play...
