Now reading: Chapter 380 Blue Ace & Golden Ace from Others Summon Dragons, I Summon Legendary Knights, a Fantasy novel by DDTheDreamer.

Arnold turned. "That man, Percival Jackson, was known as the Blue Ace when the forr Captain was in charge. According to what I know, whenever there's a serious raid, he's called not to fight and rescue but to suppress whatever they're facing."

Arnold spoke as he walked to his seat and sat down. "Don't underestimate him. You both are fortunate but he's been receiving mana fruits since the past age and is currently a Titled god. He's also a dual summoner. With all that, you can see the reason he's called the Blue Ace, the Cohort's card of victory."

Arnold gently tapped his index finger on the table. "But you're right, Nathan. His old ideals do not suit our new ones. He'll have to adjust and grow or be forced to submit, preferably by . If he's unfortunate, by the Captain."

"Did you see the way Oliver spoke to ?" Nathan clenched his teeth. "I could crush the skull of his weak summon. He's already a walking mummy, there's no harm in making him an actual one." Nathan grinned, though it wasn't out of delight but the possibilities that would be unlocked once he had the corpse of Oliver's summon.

"You're a weird little boy." Alora scowled, making Nathan pout.

"I haven't heard of this Blue Ace. All I heard about was the Golden Ace. I don't understand." She leaned forward, curious to know if she had heard wrongly.

Percival was turning out to be an interesting fellow. Strong fellows were interesting fellows, the strength you had determined your place, that was the law of the insect race.

Arnold's eyes flickered.

'Godfrey Daniels, no affiliation.'

That voice echoed in his mind as he recalled how that young man filled the fortress with golden armoured knights and unleashed that female knight who summoned several dragons and decimated a legion of undead.

"He was a forr mber of the Cohort who left for no reason at all despite the sacrifices the forr Captain and his team made for him." Arnold said.

"How strong was he?" Alora replied.

"Quite strong. He has an advantage in numbers but he cannot compare to the Captain." Arnold's reply made Nathan and Alora look at each other.

They picked sothing from what he said. Arnold indirectly compared him with the Captain, aning only the Captain would be able to put this one in his place.

They felt challenged. Only by going against tough foes would they be able to adapt, forcing their summons to beco much stronger until their foe eventually fell.

With the kind of potential Saul said they had, they were certain this Golden Ace would eventually be just one among the many stepping stones to becoming an ancient god and rising through its tiers.

"Who exactly is this Golden Ace and where is he now?" Nathan cocked his head.

"He's Doctor Valentina's son."

Percival held the zzanine and looked at the pit's ground floor. In the middle of the ground floor was the pit. So people called the entire place the den and, in a way, they weren't wrong.

This used to be the place everyone gathered but now it was abandoned.

The colosseum was now the main place, it had both the fighting arena and the underground area where people prepared. It was a massive structure with lots of activities and the rewards of cores made it even more appealing than the pit where skills were tested.

Injuries were allowed in the pit but death was acceptable in the colosseum. Knowing about this made Percival unable to see Saul in a good light.

He had not even t the man, yet Percival disliked him.

"How was the sea world?" Oliver, who sat on the railings, asked.

"It's a beautiful place." Percival replied, then lowered his head. "I heard about Thalia…"

Silence descended the mont he said that. Arden rembered Thalia's scream as that rod pierced through her. That day gave birth to the worst experience of her life.

Thalia's death gave her sleepless nights.

"She's gone. Dax too. We haven't heard from him. We don't know if Saul has kept him in his soul space or thrown him into a monster world to get stronger." Oliver muttered.

He looked up and exhaled. "Captain Arian and his wife resigned. Not much has been heard about him since but Captain Saul slanders him for his failures and since he was once Captain Saul's student, everyone who once liked Arian tilts more towards Saul."

"Only if he chose to continue, he might have averted all this." Oliver said softly, not out of spite but concern. Arian would have prevented his legacy being burned to ashes.

Arden sat on the dusty ground and leaned against the railing.

"Percy, are you going to join the cohort?" She looked up to et his eyes.

"You sound like you're expecting to leave." Percival replied.

"Well, Godfrey left. Before our eyes, he said he didn't belong with us, that he had no affiliation. I don't know what we did to hurt him but he hurt us. Sotis I wonder, if he was here, maybe Thalia wouldn't have died." Oliver said solemnly.

Lucy bit her lower lips. She couldn't tell them that Godfrey couldn't be here because the Watchman, the very foundation of paradise, was Isolde's killer and was heavily interested in manipulating Godfrey.

Isolde had taken her to a summoner who locked her mind with a skill that would make Lucy blank if forced or compelled to reveal anything about her being alive or about Cain's secret.

That was just safety protocol.

"He must have his reasons. Godfrey doesn't abandon good people. He must have acted like that because he was grieving." Percival responded.

Arden nodded. "I thought about that too."

"You might be right. Since you're back in the cohort, are you going to be a part of the tournant?" Oliver turned toward Percival.

At that mont, purple light flashed and soone appeared in the depths of the pit. He wore a black shirt but the top wasn't buttoned.

Both of his hands were in his pockets and his golden hair was neatly combed.

Sensing the auras above him, he lifted up his head and locked eyes with those at the zzanine. Their faces froze at the sight of Godfrey.

"Godfrey…" Percival loosened his hold on the railings.

Godfrey, on the other hand, squinted. "Percival?"
