"Pei Yan! How are you? Co down and let take a look at your injuries!" Completely ignoring that they were on the battlefield and that Shitang Longsi was watching intently from not far away, Pei Jin shouted up anxiously, his face filled with worry, landing at Pei Yan’s feet within a few breaths.
"Sister, I’m fine. I’ve had injuries like this before; it’s not a big deal! Don’t worry about !" Pei Yan, suspended in mid-air, had his severed arm and chest wounds being continuously nded by iron currents. He was preparing to lure the enemy into deeper ground for a counterattack, but seeing the concerned look on his sister’s face, his heart ward, forcing him to abandon his plan and land slowly.
Just then, Shitang Longsi’s annoying voice sounded behind them: "Miss Pei, does your heart ache? This is..."
Without waiting for him to finish his sentence, Pei Jin, who had been standing there, suddenly turned around. The once tearful, pitiful eyes were now filled with murderous intent, and with a loud bang, she pressed Shitang Longsi’s forehead to the ground, rubbing it back and forth.
"Cough! Pfft!" His brain instantly suffered severe trauma as Shitang Longsi was pinned firmly to the ground, spitting a mouthful of blood. Fast! So fast! Faster than both Pei Yan and himself. Being against two was disadvantageous, but as the Pei Family Siblings holding fragnts of the core, they sure are relentless. Why haven’t the others resolved their fights to help? Are they all useless?
While hidden within the air, Shitang Longsi cursed his incompetent companions and surveyed the battlefield. Suddenly, he felt a gust of wind behind him. Realizing the danger, he didn’t dodge but instead swung his blade. What on earth! Are the Pei Family Siblings his nesis? His new invisibility ability seed non-existent to them; they could always precisely find his hiding spot.
However, with a pang of grief and anger, he turned with his full strength, but the expected outco didn’t occur. As a lock of hair floated before his eyes, Pei Jin, ducking low, avoided the slash and punched upwards.
A sharp pain spread from Shitang Longsi’s abdon throughout his body. Damn it, how could such a small fist exert this much power? Strength, speed, and reflexes had all greatly improved. What new ability has she obtained from the core?
Shitang Longsi wished to figure this out, but the situation didn’t allow much thought. The current Pei Jin was like a furious female Tyrannosaurus, with fists flying up and down like raindrops on his body. He could only adjust his state and defend with his blade. Although this thought was bewildering and hard to accept, the fact was, from the start of the encounter with Pei Jin, it was as if he was cursed. Damn it! This ability is too strange! I must remain highly focused in this battle, even a tiny mistake will be afflicted by this bizarre ability.
Shitang Longsi wasn’t like Pei Yan, who could leave everything to a system’s calculation to fight. Such high concentration for sneak attacks could still be maintained short-term, but long-term maintenance of this state was a trendous consumption of physical and ntal energy. That was why, despite dueling Pei Jin for less than five minutes, he felt more exhausted than a whole day’s fight with Pei Yan.

Hearing his voice, the battling figures crossed and jumped to opposite sides. Shitang Longsi gasped heavily, seizing the chance to rest, while Pei Jin turned her head slightly dissatisfied, questioning Pei Yan, "Can you really do it? You’ve already been hurt once; this isn’t a joke, stop being brash!"
"Sister, it was my carelessness earlier, but trust , leave him to ! I promise nothing will go wrong this ti. I will definitely take care of him! Go help my friends! Leave this one to ." Pei Yan, waving his fully restored left arm, pleaded with determination.
Seeing his resolute attitude, Pei Jin helplessly shook her head without further words, glared venomously once more at Shitang Longsi. It seed this man thoroughly infuriated her brother, he wouldn’t be at peace until he personally defeated him.
Watching Pei Jin leap away into the distance after glaring at him, Shitang Longsi held his blade and shook his head with a self-mocking smile, then titled his head toward Pei Yan sarcastically, "A man giving promises he can’t fulfill is a sign of immaturity. Can you really do it without relying on your sister? You were pushed into a corner earlier, after all."
"I’m not the only one taken to the brink, am I? You rely on drugs, I rely on my sister, we’re even now!"
Hearing Pei Yan’s words, Shitang Longsi curled his lips, nodding in rare agreent. He then drew the long blade from the ground, its tip pointing squarely at Pei Yan, "Then let’s use our true abilities from here on, see who can survive to the end!"
"Make your move," Pei Yan closed the mask on his face, flipping Shitang Longsi off as a taunt.
"Such an ill-mannered guy!"
With a loud roar, the two figures once again clashed in battle.
