His aggressive actions made it impossible for her to struggle free. The brute force of his grip was painful.
But he leaned in again, planting a light, fleeting kiss on the corner of her lips.
"Chloe, how could you lie to ?"
His tone was airy, devoid of any anger.
The mont he finished speaking, he kissed her again, this ti hard and deep.

Chloe struggled, trying to pull away, but in the next second, he spun around and pushed her down into the sofa. Pinning her legs with his, he held her hands above her head and kissed her wantonly.
His superficial calm seed to shatter, revealing his true nature—wild and passionate, like a blazing fire that threatened to lt her.
But she didn’t want this.
He said she had lied to him.
’But I hadn’t!’
’My mory can’t be wrong!’
’I was the one who saved him all those years ago!’
But now, he didn’t believe her. He even wanted to get revenge on her.

They had been together for eight years. Eight whole years!
Couldn’t he feel it, couldn’t he see how much she loved him?
And now, he wanted to make her pay for this.
Chloe felt her heart being torn to shreds. The pain was an interconnected web; the slightest touch sent tremors of agony through her entire body.
And yet, he was forcing her body to respond with pleasure.
This was undoubtedly a painful tornt.
Their breathing grew more chaotic. Clothes were shed, scattering across the floor in a ssy heap.
Walker Grant’s breath was scorching. He carried her into the bathroom, and as the hot water showered down, he pressed her against the cold wall.
The clash of ice and fire made her tremble uncontrollably.
She was still struggling, but her body was weak, and her struggles seed more like an act of seduction.
Walker took her like a man possessed, over and over again.
The night grew deeper.
When it was all over, she stared blankly at the ceiling. She had been washed clean and dressed in comfortable pajamas, and he was right beside her, holding her tight.
Just like so many nights they had spent together in the past.
As if they were still in love.
Chloe closed her eyes, her voice hoarse as she spoke. "Walker Grant, wouldn’t divorce be the best revenge? If we divorce, I’ll lose my status as the Second Young Mistress of the Grant family, my parents will be utterly disappointed in , I’ll be kicked out of the Reed family, and I’ll have nothing left. Isn’t that enough for you?"
Walker kept his eyes closed, holding her as if trying to ld her into his very bones and blood. "Why should I follow the path you’ve laid out for ?"
His tone was flat. "I’ll get my revenge on you however I see fit."
"You’re insane," Chloe said.
After a pause, she added, "I’m not lying to you. I was the one who saved you."
But Walker just replied, "Looking for another round?"
"..."
Chloe took a throat lozenge, and by the ti she woke up the next day, her voice had recovered.
But she was still worried it would affect her at work, so she took a few more.
However, as she was opening the bottle to take one, Walker saw her.
He strode over, grabbed her hand, and his face darkened. "What are you taking? Birth control?"
Chloe was stunned. He seed even angrier than he had last night.
"You’re hurting !" she said, frowning.
Walker loosened his grip slightly. His gaze fell on the bottle, where he read the label.
His expression beca unreadable. He gave her a long, hard look, then turned and walked away.
Chloe couldn’t stop herself from saying, "Why would I need birth control with you? It’s common knowledge that you had a vasectomy."
