Chloe Reed looked at her, her eyes full of confusion. "Claire, what are you talking about?"
"Ah... here’s what happened."
Claire Monroe ca back to her senses and briefly told her what had happened last night.
After listening, Chloe Reed’s expression was one of slight shock.
’Sunny Reed poisoned Noah Grant?!’
’Isn’t she Noah’s mother?’
’Why would she do that?’
She looked at Claire Monroe and asked, "So how is Noah Grant now?"
"Him? He’s stable for now." Nathaniel Monroe’s voice cut in at that mont. "I saw him. The poor kid looks pitiful. His face is pale, his lips are purple, and he has to rest after walking just a few steps. He’s incredibly weak."
As Nathaniel Monroe spoke, a look of disgust and hatred appeared on his face. "That woman, Sunny Reed, is truly vicious. To actually poison her own son... I’ve really seen it all now."
Chloe Reed’s fingers curled slightly.
’Noah Grant’s symptoms are so much like my grandmother’s.’
’Even though my grandmother took the antidote, her body was still affected by the poison. Her mind is slow, her thinking is no longer sharp, and she often just stares into space.’
’Noah Grant is only a little over three years old. If the poison remains in his body for a long ti, it could cause irreversible damage.’

’To think she’d co up with such a malicious plan just to threaten Walker Grant.’
Chloe Reed looked at Nathaniel Monroe again and asked, "Then where can we find the antidote?"
Nathaniel Monroe shook his head. "We don’t know yet. Walker has already sent people to keep an eye on that old hag, Susan Bowman. We should be able to find out soon."
"Okay."
Chloe Reed nodded and didn’t dwell on it any further.
Just then, Iris Yates ca out.
She was wearing a strapless wedding gown and holding up the hem as she walked out. She couldn’t help but complain, "This wedding dress is so uncomfortable! I’ve decided I’m never getting married!"
Claire Monroe couldn’t help but laugh. "What? Are you guys planning on having multiple weddings?"
The mont the words left her mouth, Iris Yates realized she’d let it slip. Her eyes darted around before she laughed and nodded. "Haha, yeah! We were planning to have a few ceremonies. But just taking the wedding photos is this exhausting. I’ve thought about it, and I think we should just stick to one. What do you think?"
She looked at Nathaniel Monroe, frantically trying to send him a signal with her eyes.
But Nathaniel Monroe just stood there as if he were drunk, staring blankly at her without giving any response.
Claire Monroe snapped her fingers. "Hey, look at you, you hopeless romantic. How are you still in a daze?"
Nathaniel Monroe was jolted back to reality. He cleared his throat a few tis before saying, "My wife is beautiful. Isn’t it normal for to be stunned by her looks?"
He quickly walked over to Iris Yates’s side and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with her, sowhat afraid to et her eyes.
Iris Yates reached a hand behind him and pinched his waist, only to feel a handful of rock-hard muscle. Annoyed, she gritted her teeth and whispered, "What were you spacing out for? Did you hear what I just said or not?"
The soft pinch on his waist was ticklish. Nathaniel Monroe fought the urge to grab her hand and nodded vaguely. "Mhm, ah, heard you, I heard you. I agree with what you said."
Iris Yates was speechless.
She seriously suspected he hadn’t heard a thing and was just trying to fool her!
Fortunately, the topic was dropped, and they began to take photos, following the photographer’s instructions.
"Groom, wrap your arm around the bride’s waist. A little closer, you two. Don’t be so stiff."
The photographer instructed.
Claire Monroe, who was watching from the side, couldn’t help but click her tongue. "They don’t look sweet at all. It seems so fake."
