Chloe Reed, who was standing to the side, flinched at the comnt. "I think they’re doing okay," she said. "They’re probably just shy and too embarrassed to act out."
With that, she got up and walked over. While pretending to adjust Iris Yates’s hair, she whispered, "The two of you need to make it look more real, more natural. Claire just said you guys look incredibly fake."
Iris Yates’s pupils constricted at her words. She whispered, "But what can I do? The second he gets near , I just want to slap him. I can’t control myself."
Nathaniel Monroe said, "...You’d better get it under control. If my sister finds out, my whole family will know. This entire plan will go up in smoke. Do you want to get dragged away by William Quinn? If he takes you, you’ll never be able to co back."
Iris Yates: "!!!"
She was terrified!
She shot him a glare, then squeezed her eyes shut and looped her arm through his.
Chloe Reed said, "Relax. Just pretend you’re filming a scene. There are so many people around. Nothing’s going to happen."
"Okay, fine. I’ll try!"
Iris Yates gave herself a silent pep talk.
Seeing her expression of soone marching to their execution, the corner of Nathaniel Monroe’s mouth twitched. ’Is marrying really that agonizing?’

Both of them were extrely tense, their palms slick with sweat.
Fortunately, the results were much better than before.
Chloe Reed felt a small sense of relief watching the scene, but other thoughts quickly surfaced.

After a full afternoon of shooting, Iris Yates was so exhausted she fell asleep the mont she got into the car.
The group ate dinner together, after which Claire Monroe headed straight for Chloe Reed’s car.
In the car, Chloe Reed dialed Walker Grant’s number.
It rang three tis before he picked up.
"Hello?"
The man’s low, unhurried voice ca through the phone.
Chloe Reed said, "Claire’s here in the car with . We can head over now."
Walker Grant raised an eyebrow slightly, then asked, "Have you two eaten?"
"We’ve already eaten," Chloe Reed said.
"But I haven’t," Walker Grant said. "I’ll text you the address. Co et there."
With that, he hung up.
Chloe Reed’s brows knitted together. ’Couldn’t he wait to eat until after we’ve dealt with this?’
’Or get his food to go and eat it at the villa?’
’This man is so high-maintenance!’
She grumbled to herself before saying to Claire Monroe, "We have to go over and wait for him to finish dinner."
Claire Monroe nodded. "Sure, that’s fine."
「Private Dining Room at the Restaurant」
They pushed open the door and entered to find Walker Grant sitting inside by himself.
Claire Monroe clicked her tongue. "You ordered all these dishes just to eat by yourself? What a waste."
"If it bothers you that much, feel free to sit down and join ," Walker Grant said.
His gaze landed on Chloe Reed’s face, and he scanned her carefully from head to toe. Only after confirming that she was unhard did he look away.
Claire Monroe pulled out a chair and sat down, shaking her head. "I already ate. I couldn’t possibly eat another bite."
Walker Grant looked at Chloe Reed. "Want so soup? It’s really good here."
Chloe Reed sat down as well and shook her head. "No."
But Walker Grant had already ladled a bowl of soup for her. "He ca to see today," he said nonchalantly. "Told he saw his ’first night girl’."
Chloe Reed’s head snapped up to look at him.
"What’s a ’first night girl’?" Claire Monroe, sitting beside her, was imdiately intrigued and asked in confusion.
