The babysitter first checked the baby’s diaper and confird it was dry. Then, she placed the baby on the bed to check the baby’s stomach, determining it wasn’t hunger causing the baby to cry, but rather emotional outburst and sleepiness.

The room was heated, with doors and windows tightly shut. The baby was dressed in a single cotton onesie. She picked up a blanket to wrap the baby’s small body, opened a window slightly for ventilation, and then cradled the baby, letting the baby’s chin rest on her shoulder while gently patting the baby’s back and softly singing an international lullaby.

Magically, the baby gradually stopped crying and lay on her shoulder, sucking on a finger.

After soothing the baby for several minutes, the baby finally fell asleep.

The babysitter gently placed the baby in the crib, removed the blanket, and covered the baby with a soft, pink blanket.

Simon Forrester and his wife watched the video the whole ti, a satisfied smile on their faces.

A few seconds later, they heard the sound of the door opening, and Simon quickly put away his phone.

The babysitter closed the door behind her and walked to the living room, smiling, "The baby is asleep now."

Sienna Thornton politely said, "Thank you for your hard work."

The other replied softly, "It’s my duty."

While going downstairs, the babysitter quietly reminded, "It’s best to open a small window for ventilation before the baby sleeps; this helps the baby sleep better."

Sienna replied, "Alright, thank you for the reminder."

After going downstairs, Sienna told the two babysitters that she would discuss with her husband at night and asked them to wait for the news at ho. She then instructed Gavin Gale to make sure to take the two babysitters ho.

After everyone left, Simon locked the windows and doors, and led his wife back to their room.

The baby was sweetly asleep in the crib. Simon went for a shower, while Sienna used a breast pump to store the milk in milk bags and then placed them in the small refrigerator in the living room.

This refrigerator was a gift from Jack Hawthorne a couple of months ago, designed specifically for storing breast milk. Since coming out of confinent, she began storing milk for the baby. So far, she had stored over a hundred bags, which would be the baby’s food once she returned to work.

When she returned to the room, Simon was standing by the crib, drying his hair and smiling at the baby. Seeing her enter, he tossed the towel in the bathroom and, without a word, scooped her up in his arms.

She wrapped her arms around his neck in response.

He kissed her on the head and carried her to the bed.

Leaning against the bed, they began to discuss softly.

"Which babysitter do you prefer?" Sienna asked first.

At this mont, she was nestled in Simon’s arms, with her head resting on his chest, her hand encircling his waist.

Simon wrapped her in his embrace with one hand, his thumb gently caressing her slender shoulder, pondering for a long ti before asking, "What about you?"

"I think the babysitter nad Charles Quincy is pretty good." Charles was the younger one.

"Just because she’s good at English?"

Sienna added, "Well, her English proficiency is one reason. Also, considering she received systematic child education in Canada, and she’s young. In a couple of years, when the child starts running around, the older babysitter might not have the energy to keep up."

She had thought it through thoroughly, so Simon had no reason to oppose, agreeing with her view and planning to have Gavin take Charles for a dical examination the next day. If the results were fine, she’d start imdiately.

Since she would be responsible for comprehensive childcare, thorough examinations for infectious diseases were needed, ranging from blood tests to check for bacteria in her stomach, and any possibly contagious diseases.

Three days later, Charles Quincy’s dical report lay on Simon’s desk. The examination was detailed and took two days, all carefully overseen by Gavin to ensure the samples were taken from Charles.

Because so of the tests involved gynecological checks, Simon didn’t look through it, rather placed it in an envelope to take ho for Sienna to review.

...

That evening, after lulling the baby to sleep, Simon dealt with so work. During this ti, Sienna ca into the study to tell him that Charles had no infectious diseases and was very healthy. The couple decided to formally hire Charles. Sienna went to her study to draft the employnt contract, while Simon called Gavin to inform Charles she’d start work the next day.

With the nanny situation settled, the two finally felt a weight lifted off their shoulders.

The next day, as the nanny had to arrive by eight, Sienna got up early to prepare the contract, neatly placing three copies on the coffee table in the living room, intending to have Charles sign it later.

At eight, Sienna was having breakfast; Simon was picking up leaves in the garden with the baby when Gavin brought Charles over.

Sienna quickly put down her breakfast to greet Charles to the living room, handing her the contract, "Miss Quincy, take a look and if everything’s fine, just sign it, and our employnt relationship will begin today."

Simon had already conducted a background check on Charles two days ago. She was a girl with a clear background. Her father was a university lecturer, her mother a kindergarten principal, and she was an only child, with no issues in her previous jobs. Therefore, Sienna didn’t need to test her background further.

Charles ticulously went through the contract, asking Sienna for explanations when she had questions, showing her cautious and diligent nature, which made Sienna even more satisfied.

Once the contract was signed, Simon happened to co inside holding the baby.

The child’s chubby cheeks were reddened by the autumn wind, eyes dark and bright under a knitted hat, curiously observing the unfamiliar faces in the ho, clinging tightly to their father’s neck.

Charles greeted Simon, "Good morning, Mr. Forrester."

Simon nodded, handed the baby to Sienna, and headed to the dining room for breakfast.

Charles picked up her luggage bag from the sofa, "Mrs. Forrester, I’d like to go to the bathroom and change into fresh clothes."

Sienna examined her neat, modest dress.

Charles noticed her gaze and explained, "Since I stood waiting for Assistant Keane by the roadside earlier, the clothes were exposed to so dust. It’s better to change into disinfected clothing."

Sienna understood, "There’s a guest room on the first floor for you. Your personal belongings and clothing changes will all be done in this room." Saying this, she carried the baby and gestured Charles to follow her.

After they left, Simon, who was having breakfast in the dining room, beckoned Gavin over.

Gavin understood and approached, leaning slightly beside his boss, "Chairman Forrester."

Simon spoke quietly, "Contact a company to install hidden caras. Have them co after the babysitter leaves tonight. Ask Harrison Rowe for the building plans. This matter needs to be expedited, as my wife will return to work in a few days."

Gavin nodded and cautiously asked, "Does Mrs. Forrester know about this matter?"
