In mid-December, colleagues still in Valois sent good news that the case mainly negotiated by Sienna Thornton had achieved great success!
This is the third major case that Sienna Thornton has represented the country and achieved great victory on the WTO stage since she entered the Treaty and Law Departnt in 2021.
With consecutive victories in one case after another over three years at the WTO, Sienna Thornton is now regarded highly by the entire ministry and even the industry believes she is a future candidate for chief negotiator and deputy minister. Everyone says that with Sienna Thorne and her team present, our country will never again be treated unjustly in the world of trade.
However, compared to the previous two tis where there was extensive coverage in the seven o’clock news and official dia, Sienna Thornton has not accepted any interviews or reports this ti.
Because Quentin Thorne said that her new background has already been established over the last two years, and at this stage she just needs to work steadily, achieve more, and maintain a low profile.

She worked until past eight o’clock, and just as she was about to leave, she suddenly received a call from Simon Forrester saying that he was at the departnt’s entrance and for her to co downstairs imdiately because linda Linton had a heart attack and was sent to the city hospital for ergency treatnt.
The phone she was holding fell to the ground instantly, the screen hitting the floor and cracking.
Perhaps because she had already experienced several sudden episodes of linda Linton’s illness over the years, she almost instinctively picked up the phone, put on her coat, grabbed her bag, and swiftly ran towards the office building entrance, calm and decisive.
Simon Forrester’s car was parked at the entrance; she ran over, opened the co-driver’s door, got in, fastened her seat belt, and the car rged into the traffic flow on Concordia Avenue.
She continuously swallowed, trying to ease the fear and nervousness in her heart.
Simon Forrester drove seriously.
After a mont, she asked, "What’s the situation with my mom now?"
"Got stimulated, suddenly fainted, currently unknown what the situation is."
"Stimulated?" Sienna Thornton’s eyes imdiately started to tear up, she turned her head to look at Simon Forrester, puzzled.
She couldn’t understand who could still stimulate linda Linton.
Simon Forrester driving turned to glance at her: "Presumably, Thornton told her about her brother’s affair, and she couldn’t handle the stimulation and fainted."
Only then did Sienna Thornton rember that incident.
She felt utterly powerless.
If linda Linton fainted from being stimulated by soone, then she could retaliate against the other party, even hold them legally accountable. But now, linda Linton was affected by an inevitable series of disasters and family misfortunes; whom could they seek out? Heaven?
"The situation shouldn’t be severe, let’s go over and see what the doctors say." Simon Forrester consoled.
Sienna Thornton leaned one hand against the car window, her fingertip pressing the temples and eyes, brows furrowed deeply.
She was silent for a long ti, suddenly asked in a low voice: "Both of us are going to the hospital, what about the child?"
"The child is still over at Auntie’s place, I’ve called the nursing specialist to help."
She nodded, exhausted: "Send to the hospital, then you go back, take care of the child, it’s enough for the hospital to have and my father."
In fact, Simon Forrester didn’t need to co just to pick her up; he could’ve watched over the child at ho. But maybe he worried about her driving to the hospital in a distracted state, encountering accidents on the road, so he specially ca to the office to pick her up.
She was greatly concerned about linda Linton’s situation and simultaneously worried about her five-month-old child and the husband who constantly cared for her.
On the way to the hospital, she mostly sat quietly in the co-driver’s seat, until close to the hospital, when she suddenly grasped Simon Forrester’s hand: "I’m fine, don’t worry, for the child’s sake, I’ll be alright, don’t worry about ."
Indeed, she now had her own family, reliance, and persistence, and found herself braver and stronger than before when encountering her closest people falling.
Because she always had her child and husband in mind. Even if her mother left her at this ti, she could live out the rest of her life well, because she had a husband and child.

When Simon Forrester and Sienna Thornton found Quentin Thorne outside the ergency room, linda Linton was still inside receiving ergency care.
Quentin Thorne, with red eyes and a desolate expression, sat on the chair.
Sienna Thornton stumbled over, tremblingly asked, "How is my mom?"
Quentin Thorne shook his head: "The doctor hasn’t co out yet."
Sienna Thornton felt like her soul was lost, and she slid weakly down onto a chair. Simon Forrester quickly went over to embrace her.
None of the three spoke further, each inwardly hoping the ergency room door wouldn’t open too quickly, yet hoping it would open soon to bring them a person revived.
Sitting and waiting like this for over half an hour, the ergency room door opened.
Sienna Thornton and the others hurriedly approached.
"How’s the patient?" Simon Forrester remained the calr one, "We are her family."
Doctor: "The patient is okay now, just needs rest, shouldn’t be stimulated again." Having said this, he hastily prepared to attend to the next patient.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Sienna Thornton stayed with linda Linton, Quentin Thorne went to arrange the hospitalization, Simon Forrester went to pack dinner for them.
After linda Linton was taken to a single room and slowly woke up, Sienna Thornton hurriedly approached the bed to inquire, frightened she might get stimulated again and dared not ntion her family affairs.
Simon Forrester brought over dinner, and the three ate together. Quentin Thorne instructed Sienna Thornton to return to take care of the child after eating, saying that the hospital had him covered.
Sienna Thornton didn’t refuse since the child indeed needed her.
Before leaving, she went to talk to linda Linton’s attending physician, confird there was no danger, then left the hospital with Simon Forrester feeling assured.
Still on the road, Simon Forrester tentatively asked her: "Earlier while you were in Valois, Thornton told he intends next Lunar New Year to take you and your mom back to the countryside to et your uncle."
Actually, he had heard about past events from Old Master Forrester, but he dared not tell Sienna Thornton at this critical juncture, fearing she might also get stimulated.
Feeling exhaust, Sienna Thornton rested her head against the car window, watching the traffic with vacant eyes: "Go then, it’s appropriate. Hopefully, my mom will still be alive by then..."
"Otherwise, why don’t you stay away? It’ll coincide with our wedding anniversary; we could go to Norport for a vacation? With the child?"
Simon Forrester imdiately proposed several tempting plans, she pondered, about to say she had no mood to think about this, but then realized her mood could affect breastfeeding, soon sat upright, tidied her hair, and forced a sowhat reluctant smile: "Sure! Go to Norport and see the sea, the child will certainly be very happy!"
