Due to linda Linton’s hospitalization, Sienna Thornton’s family had to cancel their New Year’s trip to Norport.
During the three-day New Year’s holiday, she spent half a day at ho with the kids and the other half at the hospital taking care of linda Linton, alternating with Quentin Thorne for ho rest.
linda Linton was completely silent, rely staring out the window in a daze and crying, except for als and sleep.

In the evening, Quentin Thorne brought dinner to the hospital. When Sienna Thornton swapped with him, they exchanged a few words in the small living room outside the ward.

Sienna Thornton looked at him deeply for a few seconds, understanding internally, then said, "I’ll head back now, and return early tomorrow," before leaving the ward.
When she got back to Fenmore Hill, Simon Forrester was at the kitchen counter feeding the child, seeing her return looking grim, he hastened to ask, "Mom is alright, isn’t she?"
Sienna Thornton shook her head, put down her car keys, removed her jacket and shoes, and sat across from her husband and son, lost in thought.
Holding the child in one arm and the milk bottle in the other, Simon Forrester watched her expression, "What happened?"
"I asked Thornton to find my mom’s two sisters-in-law, but he doesn’t seem willing," Sienna Thornton said, looking up at her husband, "Do you have a way to find them?"
Simon Forrester didn’t answer but asked, "Why isn’t Thornton willing? What are you suspecting?"
"I suspect when my mom was kicked out, ostensibly due to the sisters-in-law not tolerating her, there was actually another reason. But that reason is hidden from , so Thornton is trying to conceal my mom’s sisters-in-law’s whereabouts."
Simon Forrester fell into silence.
He actually understood Quentin Thorne’s actions.
With everything now seemingly perfect, if Sienna Thornton were to learn the whole truth from years past, he wasn’t sure if it would plant seeds of resentnt within her.
She absolutely couldn’t resist the Grant Family, so those who love her wouldn’t want her to confront them over past events, nor instigate revenge against them.
Simon Forrester gently persuaded, "Maybe Thornton just doesn’t want them to have conflicts with your mom again. After all, the previous disputes were unpleasant. With your mom’s current health condition, it’s perhaps unsuitable for her to et them."
These words sounded reasonable.
The resentnt stuck in Sienna Thornton’s throat dissipated.
She took deep breaths several tis, adjusted her mood, and lifted her son after feeding him to burp him.
Simon Forrester cleaned the milk bottle, placed it in the sterilizer, and prepared dinner.
Soon, three dishes and one soup were ready.
During dinner, Simon Forrester continued observing Sienna Thornton’s mood, seeing she was calm, asked, "So we’re not looking for them anymore?"

That ti was just a month before the New Year, Sylvia Langley had already planned to co back for the holidays. At her son’s summons, she forewent plans to The South, heading directly to Fenmore Hill to assist her son and daughter-in-law with the grandchildren.
