Simon Forrester said "Okay" and was about to close the door to leave, but suddenly pointed at the door handle and asked, "Not locking it?"
Sienna Thornton smiled, "There’s no one else, it’s fine."
Her attitude was amiable and natural, and Simon Forrester could feel it. Ten days ago, he would have thought her friendliness had an ulterior motive, but after the Raines Village incident, he vaguely understood that their relationship had undergone a qualitative change.
This change was natural; no one was deliberately pleasing or going out of their way to be accommodating. It was simply the feeling that they were like people who had lived together for a long ti, familiar enough to know each other’s weaknesses and personalities, understanding how to interact in a way that made the other feel most comfortable.
Soon it was Friday, and because they had to finalize the first phase plan for a resort in Norport before the weekend, Simon Forrester inford all project participants to stay and work overti.
In the evening, Sienna Thornton sent a ssage: Auntie King is here, so you don’t need to bring dinner tonight. But my assistant might co over because of work, is that okay?
Simon Forrester initially wanted to reply "No", but when the ssage was sent, it turned into: You’re not afraid anymore?
Sienna Thornton replied: It’s my assistant, it’s okay. So you agree? Thank you.
Simon Forrester: I disagree.
Sienna Thornton: Your ssage was rejected, please do not send!
Simon Forrester chuckled, closing the screen, feeling resigned. Once, he considered his ho as a symbol of privacy, but because of Sienna Thornton, who knows how many unrelated people have entered?
Knowing Auntie King was there, Simon Forrester felt assured to work overti until ten o’clock before going ho. As he walked in, sure enough, he saw Sienna Thornton and a young girl sitting in the living room, discussing sothing, with stacks of docunts piled on the coffee table.
"Mr. Forrester is back?" Auntie King enthusiastically ran out from the kitchen, "Have you eaten yet?"
Simon Forrester nodded slightly as an answer, changing his shoes. Sienna Thornton happened to look up, and their eyes t for a few seconds.
Sienna Thornton introduced, "This is my assistant, Rochelle Linwood. She accompanied to the design office when handling your case before."
The other person stood up and greeted Simon Forrester, which triggered a vague recognition in him; she indeed was the assistant Sienna Thornton always had by her side.
After showering, Simon Forrester ca out to find that Sienna Thornton and her assistant were still in the living room working. He noticed Sienna holding a pen in one hand and rubbing her plastered thigh with the other, seemingly due to poor posture causing poor blood circulation and resulting in leg numbness. He said calmly, "I’m not using the study tonight."
"Hmm?" Sienna Thornton looked up at him, "Need to borrow the study?"
Simon Forrester responded with a "Hmm" and turned to the bar to pour milk.
Sienna Thornton shouted a "Thank you" at his back and quickly told Rochelle Linwood to pack up the docunts and moved to Simon Forrester’s large study.
After finishing his milk and washing the cup, Simon Forrester returned to find the living room empty, with only a few pens left on the coffee table and Sienna Thornton’s black cell phone.
He walked over and picked up the phone; his fingers accidentally touched the ho key and the screen lit up. He glanced at it instinctively; the wallpaper was of Themis, symbolizing law and justice.

Aren’t girls supposed to like pink and cute things?
How could she like such a grim color sche; what a weirdo.
Though he thought this, Simon Forrester still smiled while bringing the phone to Sienna Thornton.
Rochelle Linwood ca over to open the door.
Simon Forrester glanced inside, Sienna Thornton was having a video conference.
