Now reading: Chapter 186: Can I became your wife from Overlord: The Multiverse, a Action novel by BlackBolt.

I was in back in Nazarick after the all stunt I pulled on underworld. it was a strange relief to be back in Nazarick, my fortress of power and mystery.

Despite everything, there was still unfinished business to attend to—specifically, a certain Sacred Gear that Demiurge had created.

I had already received a detailed report about the Sacred Gear from Albedo. She ticulously outlined its advantages and disadvantages, providing an in-depth analysis that covered every possible angle.

According to her, the gear had impressive capabilities—but what I like the best is curse of eternal damnation. That ability sound like an OP shit.

But the more I thought about it, the more it felt like this "Sacred Gear" was sothing else entirely. Its powers were more aligned with those of an artifact or a forbidden spell, rather than what one would traditionally consider a Sacred Gear.

However, my system had classified it as such, and I knew better than to argue with that kind of logic. If the system said it was a Sacred Gear, then that was what it was—at least for now.

Still, the classification felt odd to .

I decided to head over to the 6th-floor amphitheater to see this creation for myself.

As I entered the vast space, I saw Aura and Mare coming to in my direction.

Upon spotting , their faces lit up, and they sprinted over, their excitent palpable.

"Lord Alex!" Aura called out, her voice bright with enthusiasm. "When did you ca back."

"Half an hour ago." I said as patted both of their head. "Rest of guardians will ca shortly."

Aura grinned, clearly pleased. "It's good to have you back, Lord Alex. Things have been a bit too quiet without you around."

Mare nodded shyly, glancing up at from beneath his hat. "Y-Yes, it's much better with you here. The atmosphere in Nazarick feels different when you're not around."

I smiled at their words, appreciating their loyalty and the warmth of their welco. "Thanks, you two. It's good to be back. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone's been working on, especially that Sacred Gear Demiurge created. Albedo's report made it sound quite impressive."

Aura's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Oh, you're going to love it! Demiurge has been working really hard on it. It's unlike anything we've ever seen."

Mare nodded in agreent, though he still looked a bit nervous. "Y-Yes, he's been very focused on perfecting it. I think he'll be happy to show it to you."

"Great," I said, "Let's go see what all the fuss is about."

However, that excitent was montarily interrupted when Aura, usually so confident and composed, dropped a bombshell.

"Ano... Alex-sama..." she began hesitantly, her voice uncharacteristically shy. I turned to look at her, curious about what had her so flustered. "I heard that you're getting yourself wives... You made Albedo-sama and Shalltear-sama your wives... So do you think I can also beco your lover?"

The words ca out in a rush, and she looked down at the ground, her cheeks flushed a deep pink. I could see her hands nervously fidgeting with the hem of her tunic, a stark contrast to her usual deanor.

Oh shit.

Before I could even process her request, I heard Death's voice echo in my mind, her tone dripping with amusent. "Lolicon!!" she teased without missing a beat.

'Hey, she's 76 years old. So she isn't a loli,' I quickly defended myself ntally, knowing exactly where Death was going with this.

"But she is a 76-year-old dark elf," Death pointed out, clearly having too much fun with the situation.

'That doesn't change the fact that she's still older than a normal human by many lifetis,' I countered, feeling a bit exasperated by this strange internal debate.

"But you won't push her to bed, right?" she asked, her voice laced with both mischief and genuine curiosity.

"Of course not," I replied firmly. "She is still a child."

"So you admit that," Death countered with a smirk evident in her tone. "Anyway, don't reject her right away. Just give her a promise or sothing, like you'll make her your wife after she turns 120 years old."

I sighed inwardly. Death always knew how to complicate things with her teasing. But she had a point. I couldn't just dismiss Aura's feelings outright—it would hurt her, and that was the last thing I wanted.

Turning my attention back to Aura, I smiled gently. "Aura, you're a very special person to , and I care about you deeply. But you're still young by dark elf standards. How about this: let's wait until you're a bit older—say, 120 years old. If you still feel the sa way then, we can revisit this conversation."

Aura's eyes widened slightly, and then she gave a small, shy smile, her cheeks still tinged with that adorable blush. "Okay, Alex-sama. I can wait. I'll do my best until then."

Mare, who had been listening quietly, ca forward, "Then..... Can I also beco your wife."

I blinked, stunned into silence for a mont by Mare's unexpected request. His wide, innocent eyes were fixed on , and he seed genuinely earnest in his question, despite his usual nervous deanor.

'Bukubukuchagama, what were you thinking when you created Mare?' I thought to myself, baffled by the situation. 'Were you high or sothing when you decided to give him this kind of personality?' This was the kind of curveball I wasn't prepared for.

Oddly enough Death didn't said anything, but I was sure that she was laughing her ass off in her realm.

Realizing I had been quiet for a beat too long, I forced a smile and tried to keep my tone light.

"Mare, that's... very flattering," I began, choosing my words carefully. "But, just like Aura, you're still quite young. And, well... you're also a boy....."

I didn't need to continue as I heard a familiar voice.

"Oya, Alex-sama, what are you talking—" Shalltear's voice trailed off as she entered the amphitheater.

Without hesitation, I dashed towards her and enveloped her in a tight embrace.

"Shalltear, you have no idea how much of a lifesaver you are right now," I said, burying my face in her shoulder. "I feel like, I am about to fall in love will you all over again."
