Now reading: Chapter 276: A meal with Mitsuri from Overlord: The Multiverse, a Action novel by BlackBolt.

After I sent Akaza to Nazarick after I ended his connection to Muzanette by my blood, For the context I didn’t make him a vampire instead I made him a demon similar to Muzanette, which ans he can create demon just like Muzanette.

As the God of All Bloodline, I have significant power over [Race Change].

As I dissolved the barrier spell, allowing the daylight to reclaim the land, I was greeted with an unexpected and incredibly soft sensation pressing against my face.

My vision was completely obscured, and it took a mont to realize what had happened. Two massive lons—belonging to none other than Mitsuri—had landed squarely on my face as she practically tackled in relief.

"Alex-san!" Mitsuri’s voice was filled with a mixture of worry and exasperation. "I was so worried! What happened to the demon? Did you kill him?"

Her breasts were still pressing into my face, and though I had fought Akaza in a brutal life-or-death battle, this was a completely different kind of challenge. God, they’re so soft, I thought, barely holding back a sigh of... sothing. Amusent? Embarrassnt? Whatever it was, I wasn’t ready to deal with it just yet.

I gently placed my hands on her shoulders and pushed her back slightly, creating enough distance to finally breathe. "No, I didn’t kill him," I said, keeping my tone calm. "I sent him to a better place."

Mitsuri tilted her head, her pink and green locks swaying with the motion. Her expression was puzzled, her brows furrowed as she tried to make sense of my vague answer. "A better place? What do you an by that?"

"It’s complicated," I replied, refusing to elaborate. I wasn’t about to explain Nazarick or the complex ritual I’d perford to sever Akaza’s ties to Muzanette.

Mitsuri didn’t need to know those details, and honestly, I doubted she’d fully understand even if I tried to explain.

Unfortunately for , Mitsuri wasn’t about to let it go. Her curiosity was relentless. "But what was that giant pillar of light earlier? And why did the day suddenly turn into night? And—"

She rattled off question after question, her voice growing increasingly animated.

Her large, expressive eyes sparkled with a mix of confusion and excitent, and her hands moved in tandem with her words, gesturing wildly as she spoke. It was endearing, but also exhausting.

"Alright, alright," I said, holding up a hand to stop her barrage of questions. "Let explain."

Mitsuri imdiately fell silent, looking at expectantly. Her expression was so earnest it was almost comical.

I exhaled, choosing my words carefully. "What you saw earlier—both the pillar of light and the night that blanketed the sky—was the result of a spell I used. It’s called Super-Tier Magic. In simple terms, it’s a power far beyond what most people, or even demons, can comprehend. It’s not sothing I use lightly, but I needed it to level the playing field with Akaza."

Her jaw dropped, and she stared at with wide eyes. "Super-Tier Magic? I’ve never heard of anything like that before! Is it... is it even humanly possible to use sothing so powerful?"

"It’s not," I said bluntly. "That’s because I’m not entirely human."

Mitsuri’s expression faltered, her curiosity now tinged with concern. "What do you an by that, Alex-san? Are you... a demon too?"

She is asking the obvious, didn’t Ubuyashiki told her already about what I am.

"Not exactly," I replied. "I’m sothing... different. I suppose you could call a vampire, but even that doesn’t quite capture it. I don’t eat people, and I’m not a servant of Muzanette or any other entity. I’m my own master."

She seed to relax slightly at that, "So... does that an you can use magic that no one else can? Is that why you were able to fight Akaza on equal footing?"

I nodded. "In a way, yes. But the magic I use isn’t the only thing that defines . It’s the choices I make and the values I hold that matter. Akaza and I may both have imnse power, but we’re nothing alike."

Mitsuri nodded thoughtfully, her expression softening. "I think I understand. You’re strong, Alex-san, but it’s not just your strength that makes you different—it’s your heart."

Her words caught off guard, but I didn’t let it show. Instead, I decided to shift the conversation before it beca too sentintal. "By the way, Mitsuri..."

"Yes?" she asked, leaning in slightly.

"Your breasts are still on my face."

Mitsuri froze, her eyes widening in realization as her cheeks turned a deep, fiery red. She scrambled back, her hands flying to cover her chest as she stamred incoherently. "I-I’m so sorry! I didn’t even realize! Oh my gosh, that must’ve been so awkward for you—"

"It’s fine," I interrupted, smirking slightly. "No harm done. But you might want to be a little more mindful next ti."

She buried her face in her hands, her embarrassnt almost palpable. "I can’t believe I did that," she muttered. "I’m such an idiot..."

Wanting to ease her discomfort, I changed the subject again. "How about this? To make up for it, why don’t we grab sothing to eat? You’ve been running around all day, and I’m sure you’re starving."

Mitsuri peeked out from behind her hands, her eyes brightening at the ntion of food. "You an... like a al? Together?"

"Yeah," I said with a shrug. "You can ask more questions if you want, and I’ll answer what I can. Consider it my way of saying thanks for having my back earlier."

Her face lit up, her embarrassnt montarily forgotten. "I’d love that! There’s this really nice restaurant in the next town over that serves amazing grilled eel—oh, but if you don’t like eel, we can get sothing else!"

"Grilled eel sounds good," I said, chuckling at her enthusiasm. "Let’s go."
