As far as Yan Feifan was concerned, the incident with the young nurse, Ye Lin, was a trivial matter.
He had rely expressed his opinion over the phone, telling Ye Lin to handle it as she saw fit, and hadn't rushed to the hospital himself.
What Yan Feifan never could have anticipated, however...
...was that his words would trigger a serious conflict among the nurses at the plastic surgery center.
Backed by Yan Feifan, Ye Lin rallied five or six junior nurses who were often treated unfairly and confronted that evening's head ward nurse, as well as several other senior nurses.
The confrontation between the two sides grew so heated that if others hadn't intervened, it would have erupted into a full-blown brawl.
This forced Wang Chuan to rush back to the plastic surgery center to put out the fire.
When he learned the role Yan Feifan had played in the affair, he couldn't help but sigh. 'That kid is such a handful.'
To avoid affecting Yan Feifan's freelance surgery trip the next day, Wang Chuan issued a strict gag order.
No one was to breathe a word of this to Yan Feifan before Monday.
At the sa ti, the incident left Wang Chuan with a deep sense of frustration.

「Early the next morning」
Completely oblivious to the events of the previous night, Yan Feifan woke up at six o'clock sharp.
He got dressed, washed up, and did his exercises, just like any other day.
Just as Yan Feifan was about to head to the kitchen to make breakfast, he saw Yu Suye descending gracefully from the loft. She was dressed in dark, form-fitting workout clothes, her face glistening with sweat.
"Feifan, morning!"
Yu Suye said with a beaming smile, "I slept so well last night! I can't rember the last ti I slept so soundly."
"And working out on the terrace this morning was incredibly refreshing."
"Staying here was a very wise decision."
Yan Feifan chuckled. "I'm glad you like it here."
He added, "Mr. Zheng will be here at seven-thirty this morning to take us to the airport."
"I'll go make breakfast now..."
Yu Suye quickly chid in, "Feifan, let give you a hand."
Her offer took Yan Feifan by surprise.
He asked bluntly, "Su Ye, if you wanted to be polite and make a good impression, shouldn't you have said, 'You rest, I'll make breakfast'?"
Yu Suye giggled, saying without a hint of embarrassnt, "Feifan, since we're living together, I might as well be honest. I don't actually know how to cook."
Yan Feifan was confused. "Su Ye, but didn't you enthusiastically invite over to your apartnt for so Jingcheng-style food?"
"Yeah, I wasn't lying," she explained. "My fridge at the apartnt is full of frozen food my family sent . You just have to heat it in the microwave."
"When we get back from Jingcheng, I'll bring all that food over, and we can finish it off together."
Yan Feifan felt faint.
Then he heard Yu Suye's voice again. "Feifan, I still strongly suggest we hire a housekeeper."
"I'm willing to pay for half of it."
"Now I have to cook for one more person," Yan Feifan said glumly. "Though I suppose in for a penny, in for a pound. I agree, we should hire a housekeeper."
"But my sister has to make the final decision on that."
"Don't worry about that," Yu Suye said, taking charge. "I'll get Ruoruo to agree."
Breakfast today was a little simple.
There was vegetable wonton noodle soup, hard-boiled eggs, a plate of sliced marinated beef, and a cold salad of shredded cucumber and kelp.
The marinated beef and cucumber had been sliced by Yu Suye.
Looking at the unevenly cut slices of beef and cucumber, all Yan Feifan could think was, 'She's a real embarrassnt to surgeons...'
Just as breakfast was ready, the two lazybones, Yan Ziruo and Tian Yu, conveniently erged from their rooms.
Snatching the hard-boiled egg Yan Feifan had just peeled, Yan Ziruo asked, "Feifan, what ti will you be back today?"
Yu Suye answered for him, "Our flight is at nine-thirty. We'll land in Jingcheng at eleven and should be at Baining Hospital by noon."
"The surgery itself..."
Yan Feifan picked up, "Including prep ti, an hour should be more than enough."
Yu Suye counted on her fingers. "Lunch, one hour. And since we're going to Baining Hospital, we'll have to take a tour and chat a bit. Let's say two hours for that."
"I already told my great-uncle. He's coming to Baining Hospital to check your pulse and write you a prescription. That'll be half an hour, tops."
"Oh, and my aunt will invite you to tour the Baining dical Technology Company. That's estimated at an hour and a half..."
"And then there's dinner..."
Yu Suye did the math. "In that case, we'll have to take the eight or nine o'clock flight back."
"Feifan, why don't we just stay the night in Jingcheng and co back tomorrow morning?"
Yan Feifan shook his head. "Even with the nine o'clock flight, we'll get ho by midnight or one A.M."

At 7:27 in the morning, after being seen off by his sister and Xiaoyu, Yan Feifan and Yu Suye got into the BMW driven by Zheng Ling and headed for Binhai International Airport.
At 8:37, Yan Feifan, Yu Suye, and Zheng Ling boarded the plane without a hitch and took their seats in business class.
The three had just settled into their seats when Yu Suye, who was beside him, nudged him gently with her finger a few tis.
"Feifan, look over there. Isn't that the famous actress, Zhao Yuqi?"
Yan Feifan followed her gaze and saw a glamorous woman in sunglasses sitting in a seat behind and to the side of them.
It really was Zhao Yuqi.
'What a coincidence,' Yan Feifan thought, just as he heard Yu Suye ask, "Should we go over and ask for an autograph and a photo?"
Yan Feifan quickly shook his head, saying a bit sheepishly, "No, let's not. I'm not really a fan, so we shouldn't bother her."
Zheng Ling, sitting on his other side, leaned in and whispered, "A while ago, Zhao Yuqi was all over the news because of plastic surgery rumors."
"Mr. Yan, you're an expert in this field. Can you tell if she's had work done?"
Yan Feifan said evasively, "They always appear before the caras and the public in exquisite makeup. It's impossible to see any traces of surgery."
Zheng Ling nodded lightly. "That's true."
"Modern makeup is practically an art of disguise. It can turn a Dongshi into a Xishi, to say nothing of how advanced plastic surgery has beco."
Just then, Yu Suye's phone rang.
She answered, listened for a mont, and then handed the phone to Yan Feifan. "It's my Uncle Hai, the vice president of Baining Hospital."
"He says he has sothing to discuss with you."
Yan Feifan took the phone, put it to his ear, and said politely, "Mr. Yu, hello."
Yu Youhai's voice ca through the phone. "Mr. Yan, your plane is about to take off, so I'll be brief."
"The Ethanol Puncture Injection Skill is mainly used in the treatnt of liver cancer."
"Since you're so proficient with this skill, performing a puncture injection of ethanol into a liver tumor should be no problem for you, correct?"
Yan Feifan answered vaguely, "I'm decent at it, I suppose."
"Wonderful! That's fantastic..."
Yu Youhai's voice grew excited over the phone. "Mr. Yan, I knew you were the man for the job."
"We'll discuss the details after you land!"
Yan Feifan stared at the phone as the call ended, a sinking feeling in his gut. He had a premonition that he was about to be railroaded into sothing.
