This ti, even as Lu Ce spoke like a madman, Wang Ao didn’t care at all. It was like he couldn’t hear a thing. He stared at the red mask in front of him, at the blade in the man’s hand, grinning with a crazed smile.

This was his illness—and also the source of his sins.

“One hundred strikes?”

“Yes, one hundred strikes.”

Both of them burst out laughing, staring each other down, repeating the number again, their eyes full of their respective desires.

Lu Ce didn’t expect that even at this point, soone would rush to offer him Pain Points.

As for Wang Ao, he was already completely imrsed in his peak state of ntal pleasure.

He craved blood, torture, and pain. And it didn’t matter whether the one being tortured was soone else—or himself.

He couldn’t rember how long he’d been here. But the reason he ca—he rembered.

Torture killings, sadism, indiscriminate violence—he had long since beco a demon in human skin.

But due to his ntal illness, he wasn’t executed. Instead, he was locked up here for “treatnt.”

Yet here, he suffered tornts far worse than death. Day after day. Year after year.

But he loved it!

He had adapted to everything here, adapted to his own existence.

And he’d even encountered people who ca to him, hoping to extract so so-called “intel,” willingly offering themselves up for his gas and his torture.

And so, he sunk deeper into the abyss of self-inflicted pain and inflicting pain on others—relishing it all.

Only in the past, he always grabbed onto his target’s weaknesses, forcing and threatening them, enjoying their fear and helplessness.

This ti... things were a little different.

He’d run into soone with an equally serious condition—soone who had even ssed with his mind earlier.

But it didn’t matter. Once the ga began, once the taste of blood returned to his body, he would feel no fear.

On the contrary, having soone this strange collapse before him—watching their pain and struggle—wasn’t that even more fun?

Everyone who ca to him wanted sothing. And if they wanted sothing, they’d have a weakness...

Smack!

Lu Ce raised his right hand and slapped it down hard on the ground. His five fingers splayed wide, revealing the spaces between them.

In the other hand, he held the iron shard but didn’t move for a while, as if thinking.

Then, he flipped his left hand, turned the shard around, and handed it over to Wang Ao.

“What? Got scared?” Wang Ao twisted his neck with a smirk, as if mocking him or proclaiming his victory.

Then, he leisurely sat up, licked the wound on his hand, and said,

“I don’t know what your goal is, but I can promise you this.”

“No matter how strong you are, if you reject , you won’t get what you want.”

“My goal is just to spend a little more ti with you.”

The red Gluttony Mask still had that unserious expression (~ ̄▽ ̄)~.

Any trace of seriousness or tension just didn’t seem to exist on that mask.

“Here you go,” Lu Ce said.

“What?” Wang Ao raised an eyebrow slightly. “What do you an?”

“You said it. You do it.” Lu Ce smiled at him kindly, even tilted the blade in his hand as if to say it was all good.

“I believe in you. You’ve got the skill. One hundred strikes.”

Wang Ao’s mouth twitched. Then his lips curled upward in a crazed grin before he burst out laughing.

“Alright, alright, no problem.”

Then he took the knife, leaned in a little, and whispered next to Lu Ce’s ear with a smile:

“You’ve got a solid mind.”

“You’re exactly the kind of prey I like best.”

“Hope you’re ready!”

Then he stepped back a bit, locking eyes with Lu Ce’s mask, watching for the tiniest changes in his expression. Then he raised his hand high.

With full force, he slamd the blade straight into the back of Lu Ce’s hand!

Zing!

The sound of sharp tal slicing through flesh. Wang Ao didn’t follow the rules of the ga he’d just talked about—the blade didn’t even aim for the gaps between the fingers!

The rusty shard went all the way in. Blood began to pour out, warm and soaking into Lu Ce’s palm.

Wang Ao could feel it—that was the warmth of blood.

He licked his lips and stared at Lu Ce’s face, waiting for so change in his expression.

But in the end, he was disappointed. Lu Ce’s mask showed no change. His body didn’t tremble. None of the emotions that should have appeared on his face were there.

Even now, even with his palm pierced through, Lu Ce hadn’t flinched. No muscle spasms, no reaction.

His hand was still completely relaxed!

What did that an?

It ant Lu Ce had completely overridden biological instinct, suppressed his neural reflexes—maybe he simply didn’t care!

Wang Ao’s smile started to stiffen. Then Lu Ce finally spoke, slowly.

“One.”

His voice was calm—so calm it was like a whisper in the dark, trying to drag Wang Ao into the abyss.

【Chosen of Agony, Pain Points 2!】

“What? Gonna keep count now?”

“Or is the blade stuck?”

As he spoke, that powerful hand grabbed Wang Ao’s wrist, inch by inch, and pulled his hand—along with the shard—out of the wound!

“How about we make the ga a little more interesting?”

Lu Ce didn’t need a response.

Just as Wang Ao was stunned, his vision suddenly went black.

Lu Ce’s other hand had covered his face, blocking his eyes.

“Ever played this ga before?”

“Co on. Let’s continue.”

Blinded, Wang Ao trembled slightly, letting out a hoarse laugh. Maybe sothing was caught in his throat.

A strange mix of emotions gripped his heart like a giant hand, sending his already unstable ntal state into complete chaos.

And what he couldn’t see was that Lu Ce had slowly closed his eyes as well.

【: This... feels way too R-rated.】

【: I don’t get it, but for so reason, I feel super tense.】

【: I think... this is like a competition between the two of them.】

【: A psychological duel. Whoever loses will have their entire deranged mindset—built up over years—shattered. I think that’s called the overload effect in psychology.】

【: The mask guy didn’t fall into his rhythm—instead, he’s breaking him using his own thods!】

“Alright,” Lu Ce said softly. “That’s one down. Ninety-nine more to go.”

“Let’s continue!”

In the darkness, it felt like a command had been given—like the switch for the ga had been flipped.
