Now reading: Chapter 89: Simultaneous Completion! A Surprise for Park Bu from Pain Immunity: Worried the Villains Aren’t Twisted Enough, a Game novel by 陷阵营营长.

Thinking about how great things could turn out, Park Bu Seong began talking to his last teammate, with a bit of a bootlicking look appearing on his face.

Strangely enough, the teammate matched with him wasn’t just a top-tier player from Da Han Mingguo, but also a little celebrity he’d been chasing for months—though he hadn’t gotten anywhere with her yet.

By his standards, getting with a minor celeb shouldn't be that hard, but maybe because he hadn’t succeeded yet, it only made him want it more.

Back when he was ranked first, he was full of confidence—everyone was watching. But after failing several horror mystery rounds and his teammates dropping out, he’d really lost face.

Now, finally so good news—his plan had worked. One part was to show off, and the other was to delegate so tasks.

“Hey, Little Ah, looks like we’ve got a bit of good news over here.”

“‘Sin’? Doesn’t really matter what’s going on with him. Whether he’s strong or not doesn’t affect the outco of this ga.”

“I just want you to go over and take a look...”

While talking, he ntioned that Blank had already fallen into the trap. At the sa ti, he wanted this last teammate to go finish things off.

That way, it’s safer, and it kind of counts as doing her a favor too—after all, letting her take out the female teammate on the other side would earn her so credit.

And he wouldn’t have to lose face. I an, he’s the guy who’s going head-to-head with “Sin”—how could he be the one to actively deal with a girl?

Talk about killing multiple birds with one stone!

Even though “Sin” had been steadily clearing the ga and his own teammates were still trash, Park Bu Seong’s strategies and setups had been working all along!

Gas are all about using smarts, not brute force. Just like in life.

Only soone like deserves to be number one!

Victory!

For so reason, even though Xie Antong hadn’t lost yet, Park Bu Seong had already ntally imagined at least ten thousand words of story.

He was the kind of person with an extrely vivid imagination. His fantasy speed was way beyond that of normal people.

In his ga perspective, the viewers from Huaguo who occasionally dropped in were all left speechless.

Watching Park Bu Seong grin mysteriously, his eyes blank, dancing around from ti to ti—they had no idea what the hell he was thinking.

【: Wait, what’s he so happy about? Does he know Blank is almost done clearing that side?】

【: This guy looks a bit ntally off too... just his condition is totally different from “Sin”...】

【: What kind of brainpower is this? Is that his superpower or sothing?】

Since all the comnts included so kind of info about the match, Park Bu Seong couldn’t see any of them.

Whenever he opened the livestream, all he saw were comnts like “Da Han Mingguo is aweso,” “Mr. Park is aweso,” and the like. Since those weren’t related to the actual ga content, they ca through.

This was a massive information cocoon. In this kind of info bubble, it was easier for him to fantasize, to fully imrse himself in the little bit of good news he had and roam freely.

The viewers could only be silently speechless, waiting for everything to unfold.

......

Inside the art classroom.

A wrecked ss of an art classroom.

Lu Ce was pressing on his earpiece, starting a call with Xie Antong. It was ti to follow through on what he’d agreed to before.

At this point, every painting in the room was in ruins.

“Sunflowers,” “The Starry Night,” and other masterpieces were scattered on the floor. Since they weren’t portraits, Lu Ce hadn’t touched them.

“Mona Lisa’s Smile” had a single hole in the center of her forehead. That smiling mouth couldn’t smile anymore, and her eyes were now bleeding tears.

“The Creation of Adam” had been torn in two, the human figures shredded.

Famous and unfamiliar dieval paintings were drifting everywhere. Fras shattered, canvases ripped—so on the floor, so pinned to the walls.

Oh, and all the partitions and decorative walls in the room had been busted through.

Deluxe turned to bare bones in an instant.

When Lu Ce ca in, he just started tearing things down. He had thought soone would be here, but nope.

So the ga progress was even easier than before. Confessions of the Disillusioned was now floating in the air, suppressing all the lingering spirits in the room.

This ga was way too easy. Lu Ce honestly didn’t have much to say about it.

He finished even faster than the last one. Just one last step—he started looking for Xie Antong.

“Hey? I’m almost done here. What’s your plan?”

Since this level wasn’t that hard, Lu Ce hadn’t even gotten mad. He was still emotionally stable.

“Oh? Hey there, sounds like you really did finish fast.”

Hearing Xie Antong’s voice, Lu Ce suddenly frowned and asked:

“Who are you?”

Xie Antong: ?

She was confused for a mont, then seed to understand sothing. She cleared her throat and said:

“Took a shot. Brain activity’s temporarily boosted. Maybe acting a bit different because of that.”

“How much do you have left?”

Lu Ce looked back at the portrait in front of him. It was a full-body image, and the air in front of it was warping in a creepy way.

Chest, hands, feet—he’d already driven steel pins into each of them. They were writhing in the painting now, tears in their eyes.

Originally a terrifying scene, but for so reason it now looked kind of pitiful.

“I’m one shot away.”

“Oh.” Xie Antong replied, then turned to look behind her.

Unlike Lu Ce, her biology classroom still looked the sa as before. The desks and chairs were untouched, no wreckage, no ss.

The only difference was that all the sketch sculptures in the center of the classroom had been assembled into a two-ter-tall figure, standing in a bizarre pose.

Each segnt of the sculpture had a small jet propulsion unit attached to it, giving it full 360-degree monitoring and control over its movents.

Every ti the sculpture tried to move its leg, the device at the knee would apply counterforce—precisely blocking and even reversing the motion.

A walking statue? Every move you make is under my control!

All these modules fused together created this undead creature in front of her, frozen in place. No matter what the horror mystery’s final form was supposed to be, it had no chance of showing it.

The Statue of David’s eyes were wide open, staring hard at Xie Antong.

Xie Antong shrugged at it and said seven words:

“Sorry about that. Physics.”

Then, she spoke into the earpiece to “Sin”:

“OK, I’ll count down—three, two, one—you shoot, and handle things over there.”

“Let’s give Park Bu Seong, with his overly peaceful life... a little surprise!”
